Snowbird rates available beginning January 1, 2026! Breathtaking panoramic views of the Gulf and city of Destin from the oversized wraparound balcony of this penthouse unit make it one of a kind! This 3-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse unit, "Top DESTINation", sleeps 8 and is perched on the top floor of The Palms of Destin's Tower 2 and has everything needed for an unforgettable getaway with breathtaking views.


The Palms of Destin PH 21217 features floor-to-ceiling windows that display stunning views from every room, and the wraparound balcony is accessible from the bedrooms and the spacious living area. The master suite offers a king-sized bed with a private bathroom, while one guest bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed and the other guest room has a queen bed. For additional guests, there is a pull-out queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen comes fully equipped and is large enough to make cooking a pleasure if you're not visiting one of the countless numbers of restaurants in Destin. But don't forget the on-site restaurant if you are not up to driving.


The Palms of Destin is known for having the largest zero-entry lagoon pool in Destin. Five waterfalls, swaying palm trees, and a children's splash area make relaxation a breeze. Choose one of five pools to swim in. During those chilly months, you'll find a heated pool and hot tub. Other amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, basketball courts, two lighted tennis courts with complimentary equipment, an on-site restaurant, bar, and coffee shop, a resort spa, and a free shuttle (seasonal) to take you to the beach, shopping at the Destin Commons, and to HarborWalk Village.


Area attractions include The Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped pedestrian-friendly outdoor mall with over 75 shops and restaurants, bowling at Uncle Bucks, and an AMC Movie Theater. Just down the road, you will find Big Kahuna's water park and The Track of Destin Amusement park with go-karts, mini-golf, bumper cars & boats, kids' rides & arcade. Visit Harbor Walk and you'll find more shops and restaurants along with a zip-line, snorkeling, deep sea fishing guide,s and pontoon and jet ski rentals.


You'll find something for everyone in Destin, and The Palms of Destin is right in the heart of it all!

Palms of Destin was AWESOME!

The Palms was so perfect for our family of 5! We enjoyed being so close to everything & the pools were so enjoyable!! The only bad part was the public beach across the rd. It’s so tiny & so packed. We had to drive to Miramar Beach to enjoy the beach & it was beautiful! We will definitely be going back to the area next year!

Amazing will come back!!

We loved everything about the property. We all had our own rooms, having a kitchen was so helpful and the balcony with the wonderful view we enjoyed daily just made it that much special to us all. Pool was amazing!! We will be back

Nice property

Nice property. Need a larger fry pan, a couple garbage bags to start and a nice mopping of the kitchen otherwise great staff at the front desk and has everything you need. A nice beach umbrella foruae would be wonderful.

Nice, clean condo with great views. One of the upsides for this place is the coffee shop, bar/restaurant on the main floor. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us, those places were not open a majority of the time of our stay since it was off season. Not the fault of the condo, just a bummer for us. Condo is very spacious...only recommendation would be offering beach chairs and necessities like that for those who are traveling via plane and can't bring those things.

The property was immaculate. The view of the gulf was absolutely beautiful. There were 6 of us and we were never crowded. They kept in contact but it was too much. The walk to the beach was short. The shuttle was a nice option too. I hope we get the same place next year.

Our grandson was in a baseball tournament where we thought the games were across the street but turned out they were not. We had a 30 minute commute to the games. Our stay was very relaxing and convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend this place for families.

Family trip to Destin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was as described. Beautiful view and clean. Only complaints I have is the check in. There was no one at the desk when I arrived and waited around 15-20 minutes for someone to come back to get the keys. When she arrived she was very rude and explained things about the resort very quickly. When we unloaded the car there were no carts available in any of the cart locations. I believe they are there for looks. I understand if there are many people checking in at once but we checked in on a Wednesday afternoon and we never saw a cart in any location our entire 5 day stay. Make sure to bring a wagon when staying here.
