Welcome to Destin! Our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo is in the heart of Destin and is sure to make your vacation one to remember. Your family will love the expansive pools, cafe and sports bar, free parking for two vehicles, washer and dryer, balcony views, and a short walk (or free shuttle ride) to the beautiful beach on the Gulf of Mexico. With a queen size bed in the master, full size bunks, and a pull out sofa we have room for the whole family!

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The property was as described. The beach is about a 10 -15 minute walk, but you do have to cross major roads. The pool area was very nice but does get crowded especially in the evenings.

100 percent family friendly. It was nice to have a pool onsite when you didn’t want to use the beach. Beach is close! About a 8 min easy walk. I do wish the building had better upkeep. But overall a nice place to stay for a couple of days

It was a great stay for a family vacation. It came with beach chairs, wagon, and toys which were convenient.

Destin Beach Vacation

I really enjoyed our stay. The kids had so much fun playing in the pool. I also really enjoyed that there were restraints within walking distance and a Walmart just a couple minutes away to get groceries.

The reason it isn’t 5 stars is due to the worst door situation have ever experienced in the second bedroom. The bathroom door is set up like saloon doors. They are quiet and they are too skinny to squeeze in just one door. This caused others sleeping in the room to be awakened anytime anyone went to the bathroom.

Overall it was a nice stay. The resort area is a bit dated and could use some updates. The 2nd bedroom looked much larger on line and it was more like a laundry room with bunk beds. If we had known that was the size we would’ve gotten something larger for our teens. It should be noted to bring beach towels for your stay. The resort doesn’t provide them. Condo was very clean.

Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of attractions close to the property, and access to the beach was just right across the street. Even though the beach access for the public was super limited, the ocean was gorgeous. The property was easy to navigate, and staff was helpful...the only complaints i have is that there was always a musty smell in the hallway on the floor we stayed on, and the pool. We specifically booked for the gorgeous and spacious pool only to be disappointed because the pool was freezing cold the entire trip. Not sure why the pool was so cold. It was disappointing for us to say the least...but overall the property was great.

We loved the Condo. The beach was closed because of Tropical Storm Bertha so we didn’t use the beach equipment provided but having the chairs, wagon, umbrella toys available was nice. The layout with two bedrooms and two baths worked really well for us and especially with bunk beds. We sat on the balcony often and the view was nice. Would highly recommend this unit.

We were in town for baseball/vacation 4th of July week, wanted somewhere with a nice pool incase beach days didn't work out. We didnt want to battle traffic or crowds and we were able to view fireworks from the balcony which was a win for us! The palms was a great spot and we enjoyed the pool, I have 2 toddlers and 2 teenagers and they all loved it. The condo was great, comfy beds, wish the master had a king size, but the queen was comfortable. a small issue with cleaning but Host was quick to reply and apologized. Condo has a Ninja slushi which was great! Beach chairs/cooler/wagon/toys were included which was nice but we brought our own so we didn't utilize them. Only recommendation would be to bring a portable highchair or booster if you have a baby/toddler. We had a car so we drove to Henderson beach/dinner instead of using the shuttle. Indoor Pickle ball Court was a hit! Top 3 food spots Brotulas, Marlins pizza and Mcguires.

The unit was spotless clean! It had plenty pots ,pans, cups , bowels. In the master closet there are plenty of beach essentials. This location has a wonderful pool , basketball court, tennis & inside picket ball .Close to Walmart & dollar tree(2mins away) Beach is 4 mins away . The 2nd bedroom is bunk beds with no TV. (Wash & dryer in that room) Now if you like to sleep in cold rooms bring a fan ! For watever reason the rooms wasn't cold enough for me to go to sleep.

Beautiful and comfortable

This condo was perfect! It was decorated beautifully and all of the furniture was comfortable. It was clean and had a very welcoming feel. I would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to return again in the future!

Great place across the street from the beach.

The property was gorgeous!! The plants and greenery made it feel like I was in the tropics! The pool was awesome for the kids! It was so convenient having the full kitchen with everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast. We only ate out a handful of times which saved money and time! Instead of waiting on food at a restaurant we were able to spend extra time at the beach or at the gorgeous pool! Keurig coffee maker!! There was also a super cute coffee shop with delicious coffee on site! And a cool little bar and grill by the pool with cornhole and TVS so we didn't miss the game! There was also an outdoor grill area with tennis courts and basketball! Beach chairs and wagon were in the closet so that was one less thing I had to pack. The balcony overlooked the city lights at night and we were even able to see the fireworks at Harborwalk Village! If I had any complaints it would be that the beach area across the street isn't very big because the motels on each side rope off thier areas.. I have never seen that at any other place I've stayed and the redlight at the cross walk takes what feels like forever.

Destin is where it all started (almost 8 years ago!) for my husband and I. He was stationed with 7th Special Forces Group in the Army and not only did we fall in love with each other, but with this place. We always said we would own a home here someday, and we are so happy that someday is finally here! Now we live full time in New Hampshire, where we have two children, I am a teacher and my husband is a state trooper. We are excited to take full advantage of our new vacation home in our favorite place, and hopefully help other families create long lasting memories in Destin too.

When we purchased this property we had families in mind. We know how difficult it can be traveling with children, and we are here to help! The Palms has everything you need right at your finger tips, so if you don't want to leave the condominium, you don't have to! With an 11,000 sq ft oasis pool, toddler splash area, sports bar with outdoor seating that includes fire pits and games, café/bistro with coffee, breakfast, and lunch options and a shuttle to take you to and from the beach during peak season, this is really the place to be. The Palms is centrally located in the heart of Destin near The Track for mini golf and go karts, Big Kahuna for family water fun, McGuires Irish Pub for amazing food and drinks (family friendly if you choose), and so much more!

Our condo has all of the benefits necessary for a family friendly vacation, or simply a getaway of your choice. Destin is one of those wonderful places where you have plenty of kid friendly options, with plenty of adult fun to have too.
