This was a wonderful weekend getaway! The cabin was so cute and well appointed for our needs. Caroline was so helpful and very responsive when our dates got mixed up checking in. We saw lots of deer and loved sitting on the screened in porch to enjoy the evening. Would easily choose this property again!

Just a little dust,branches and clutter in the yard. Pictures of the home are outdated the cabin is older. However would stay here again loved the deer in the yard.

We visited this cabin for our 20th anniversary, bringing along our children and niece and nephew. We all loved the space!! The whole property is very well taken care of. I would definitely recommend!And the deer were just an added bonus:)

Great spot on a beautiful creek. Deer all over the neighborhood. Great relaxing cabin with nice beds and spaces. Would definitely book here again.

This property exceeded our expectations. It sits by a babbling brook with a lot of open flat area for the kids to play. The wild life was abundant right out back not mention the entire neighborhood. The host was fantastic, eager to assist our every needs, and quick to reply. Love the screened in porches and open porches that have access from every room. Would strongly recommend this property

We will definitely be back! We travel to North Georgia around 3 times a year and have not found a location that we fell in love with enough to go back to until now! The cabin was very clean and he had everything we needed and more! The host was quick to responsd when I had questions and very nice. The location is absolutely amazing! I have 3 kids and they loved having a yard and a creek to play in when we wanted to stay at the house. The added resort amenities were just icing on the cake! We can't wait to go back!

It was an awesome expereince. The heated pool was fantastic. My family enjoyed it everyday. I would recommend this as one of the finest stays if you are planning to unplug and enjoy.

It was really great. Heather was so wonderful. She was helpful before and during our stay. The cabin was arranged and organized as it was described. Very well equipped.

The cabin and location were amazing, we had excellent communication with our host. The cabin was clean and well stocked. I loved the floor plan, although we didn’t have any littlest besides our 6 month old granddaughter tge basement would be perfect for families with younger children. The little creek out back was so soothing to listen tj and the abundance of wildlife was a definite plus!

The cabin was very roomy and comfortable. Plenty of space for our whole group. Lots of deer in the yard every day and the sound of the stream was comforting. Our hostess was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. Would love to rent again in warmer weather so that we could use the outside area more. The cabin setting was truly beautiful.

Convenient and cute cabin!

Family and I came to Georgia for my niece’s wedding. This was a tastefully decorated cabin that we enjoyed our stay in.

Highly reccomend this cabin and the community that it is a part of. If you are looking to experience wildlife, the deer population here is extremely high. We counted 46 deer on our way to the gate the last morning of our stay. There is no telling how many we missed. There were also deer in the back yard by the creek morning and evening and even while the kids were playing in the creek.

We booked the large house as we had a family staying with us, which the host kindly approved. However, our guests were early (arriving just before check-in at 4pm) and the security on the residential community were unable to grant them access as neither our names or their names had not been added to the security listing for the community. After eventually gaining access, our guests initially received the wrong pin code for the house keys, causing them more frustration. They then went to leave the community to get groceries, and became lost. This took its toll on them; they decided to drive 12hrs back to Texas, but also due to us being delayed 1hr as well. Praise God, we managed to meet up with them and apologise; we were helping the church pack up from an event. But, though we came from Australia, we gather that security is usually updated on the guest names in advance, and that there is not usually a second set of guests, which made this harder for the host. Many airbnbs usually supply soap/shampoo/conditioner which is handy for international travel, but these were not readily available in each bathroom - but in their defense there are 3 lovely bathrooms to stock! making supply harder, and most people like bringing their own anyway. We didn't find all the towels but we should have looked under the bathroom sinks sorry. The children used the hot tub towels anyway. We ran out of toilet paper but the host kindly refunded 5 to buy our own so that was an easy fix, thank you!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We were happy to approve your extended family group, though it sounds like your travel day was incredibly stressful. To clarify for future guests, check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and security listings are strictly activated at that time unless we discuss otherwise. We do apologize again regarding the lockbox code, that was our error however I was able to get that to you very quickly. We are glad we could quickly resolve the toilet paper shortage with a prompt refund, and that you found the extra towels under the sinks! We appreciate your insights as international travelers and will continue to look for ways to enhance our guest experience

Amazing place

This cabin was absolutely perfect! The property was amazing. We had six deer hanging out with us all weekend! I can’t say enough about how pleased I was with everything from the furnishing to the well stocked kitchen! The screened in porches were great for drinking coffee and watching the deer play. The creek made it that much better. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you Caroline for sharing your cabin with us!

Amazing

We had a wonderful time at the Cozy Cabin. Everything was very clean and the cabin had everything we needed. The hot tub was a hit with everyone. One evening there were 12 deer in the yard. The kids loves the creek and looking for different rocks. Caroline was a great host and always available if we had any questions. We loved our stay!

What a perfect trip. Adults loved having a bathroom per bedroom. Grandkids loved watching the deer and turkeys in the back yard! They also loved playing in the creek with their fathers. Everyone said they wanted to stay longer ( had to get back for work). This may be a property we want to rent again! Thanks!!!

Awesome time

My family and I had a great stay at this location. It was nice to have a such a clean and cute place to come home to each day we went out. It was also great for the days that we stayed in. Cabin is equipped with everything you would need for a home like stay. Host was amazing at communication even though she was on vacation herself. Resort is a nice family environment and although the roads can be tricky, they were not even close to the trickiest I have driven on in the north Georgia mountains with the exception of the driveway entrance. However, after a couple of attempts that became much less of an issue. The creek was a nice place to hang out with my youngest, but the backyard is a bit wet. Probably from the daily 2:00 pm summer showers. Did not use the firepit but the hot tub was nice after a long day. The screened in porch with the 4 comfortable rockers was a nice place to hang out and listen to wildlife and the creek. Deer were very present at the property as well as throughout the resort. Gate guards are very friendly and the process is smooth. Pool area within the resort is clean and very efficiently run. Close to enough eateries if that is your things as well as a lot of variety. Downtown Ellijay is very cute as well. Overall I would stay here again and again if I continued to stay near Ellijay. Highly recommend.

Christmas in Ellijay

Our family stayed at the cozy creek cabin for Christmas. We had a great time, the cabin was perfect. The grandchildren also got their 1st taste of snow at the cabin!! Was truly a "white Christmas" like they all wished for! Will definitely be booking more trips with this host!

Ellijay Thanksgiving

We decided as a family we wanted to spend Thanksgiving in a cabin in the mountains. We had never been to Ellijay so thought we would check out the area and we found this amazing cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a beautiful cabin, beautifully decorated, warm and cozy. The design of the cabin is perfect, allowing each family member there own suite, so to speak. Each bedroom has a balcony looking out towards the creek and deer wander freely through yard creating a wonderful view for our visit. The cabin was so comfortable that we rarely left but did manage to get in a couple of hikes. We cooked the majority of our meals in and found the kitchen nicely accommodating. Thanksgiviing dinner was purchased from the local grocery store and ended up being quite delicious.

Cozy Cabin and host excellent

The Cozy Cabin was clean, spacious for our family of 8. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots and pans. The host was easy and responsive to communicate with. Kept us informed of community activity. Beautiful setting, plenty of deer, rabbit and foxes. Property on a creek. Open and screened large decks overlooking large yard.
