Welcome to The Cozy Colonial, your perfect home away from home! With 4 bedrooms, 1 full bath, and 1 half bath, The Cozy Colonial offers ample space for you and your loved ones to relax and unwind. Whether you're looking to explore the vibrant city of Boston, embark on an adventure to nearby Rhode Island, or take a direct Amtrak train to the bustling streets of NYC, this location is perfect for your every desire.

PLEASE NOTE:
When submitting a booking request please tell us what you are coming into town for and introduce yourself. We have seen an uptick in VRBO bookings by people that wish to ignore our guest policy. This leads to very unpleasant communication between us and the guests, please be transparent.

The house is amazing and so are the hosts! Would recommend staying here to anyone who travels to mass. Feels like home away from home!

Wonderful location for a trip to watch football at Gillette stadium. The house was very clean and had everything we could need. Large dinning table that made game nights very fun.

Great house. Plenty of room! We didn’t use the back yard or deck because we ran out of time but it looked very relaxing. We don’t have any small children but it had all the amenities for small children. If I had one wish it would have been for another full bath but other than that it was perfect!!

We had an amazing stay here. The house is perfect for families. Our kids loved the swing set and playroom stocked with toys. The hosts are very professional and communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property for traveling family

Traveling with children under 3 is a hectic process. We can't quantify how much this property helped with easing the difficulties of that. There was a perfect palyroom for our children to play in, the rooms were cozy and dark when they needed to be put down for naps. The backyard and play area were an amazing touch - we all loved it. My spouse and I talked that the next time we visit we will make sure to plan around the availability of this property.The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and always were prompt to answer my questions. We are very thankful this property was available for the dates of our trip - we wish we could have stayed longer!

The properly was perfect for us. Our whole family enjoyed the space. Grandchildren loved all the child friendly spaces. Extremely well equipped. Clean. Well maintained. HVAC system was ideal. Comfortable beds. Would definitely return! Great communication with hosts. Needs met!

Home Away from Home

Our company had 2 of our finest tradesmen up from Maryland working in Sharon, MA on a commercial remodel for a week. The "Cozy Colonial" offered plenty of space & comfort for them to come "home" to after working all day on the job. The house is beautiful, along with being well-equipped and well-maintained. The Hosts, Austin & Nina were pleasant to communicate with and provided all the necessary details to make sure check-in and check-out were smooth and easy for our crew members.

Great Experience!

We traveled from GA to visit family. We had 3 kids 7 and under. It was such a great experience! The kids loved the playroom and the playset. We will definitely be coming back.

Cute and cozy!

Austin was an amazing host. The home was very clean, spacious, we really enjoyed our stay. Great for families, the kids didn’t have a dull moment between the toys in the play room and the playground outside. The adults were also very content with the outside space where we enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the kids play and make memories. Thanks for your hospitality!

Great Stay!

This home was perfect for our family of four’s visit to the area. We were visiting family nearby but also had convenient access to touristy activities in Boston. The neighborhood is cute, safe, and well cared for. The house had everything we needed, including items that we would typically have to provide ourselves (hand soap, dish detergent, etc). Communication was timely, and helpful details about the property were provided. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The greatest place to stay with a toddler!

Stayed at Austin and Nina's with myself, my husband, our friend and 2yo toddler for a wedding 20mins away. The location was perfect for us - a cute, quiet subdivision that was beautiful to walk around. A short drive took us to a nearby town with a wonderful playground (westwood) and cafes. This place was PERFECT with a toddler. He spent hours playing in the playroom (so many toys!) and in the backyard on the little swingset and slide. They already were set up for a little one with a crib and change table and sound machine with white noise. The hosts were responsive and kind. Would stay again in a heartbeat and had the best trip. If we were to go to boston again I would stay here instead of downtown as walking around the quiet beautiful neighborhoods was so much more relaxing vs the noise and bustle of downtown (especially with baby!)

Ideal for a family with a toddler

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood. The house was very clean and well stocked with items to make your stay easier. Our son, 2 years old, loved the playroom and the fact there was a changing table and a crib made him feel right at home. The only nitpicky thing I would say was a downside was the upstairs floors and staircase creaked loudly when walking. Didn't seem to bother our son as he was exhausted from having so much fun on the slide and swingset in the backyard. We would stay again and definitely recommend it.

Beautiful family home in a perfect location.

This property was everything i could have asked for! The location was wonnderful for visiting my family and seeing the sites. The home is obviously a beloved family home and had every amenity we could have asked for. The host is extremely resposive and lind.

Visiting Norwood Family

From the moment you walk into this beautiful home you feel relaxed! All the necessities of every day living at your finger tips. Beautiful decor throughout the house. Everything you need to cook inside and BBQ outside. The playroom and play area outside was an amazing addition for our grandkids. The bedrooms-I can't tell you how comfortable the beds were! We have stayed at many VBRO through the years this property is by far the very best!

So many good things to say...

I rented this property for my daughter, her husband and my grandchildren - aged 5 and 3 who were coming for a big family party in Norwood. I dropped by while they were there to see the property. Everything about this home was perfect. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The backyard is spectacular. My grandchildren were delighted with the swing set but particularly thrilled with a incredible selection of toys in the room off the living room. They played for hours there. They still talk about the toys in their "vacation house." It was wonderfully easy to communicate with Austin and his responses were always so quick. This house is also located very close to downtown Norwood including public transportation into Boston. I would recommend it highly to anyone coming to town. I have rented many VRBO and Airbnb places over the years and can't say enough about the quality of this one! Thank you!

I had no problem at all during our stay is a matter of fact host was really nice to let me know could have checked in before 4 o’clock that day but I had so much going on we’re really busy so I end up checking in maybe 2am that morning but overall it was really nice experience we enjoy yourself.

Wow! Amazing experience, great memories!

I must say…wow! They have done an amazing job with this property and we absolutely loved the memories we made here. This house is truly all about the details, they have thought of literally everything to make your guests’ stay very comfortable. Our favorites were the cinnamon rolls (provided by the owners), playroom, full sized crib, back porch, and play ground. We also really appreciated the abundance of utensils to cook any items as well as an accessible vacuum. Traveling with kids always includes many items and this home cut those required items in half, reducing our stress! We loved all the open communication with the owners and the details throughout the house. We felt right at home and it was the perfect central base so we could visit family and see Boston. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We spent many mornings with coffee in the yard watching the kids play and wine on the deck to finish the evening. We were all comfortable and we had so many options when it came to activities. This home was special to us and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else when we return. The owners also provided an amazing tablet with information about the local area, have never seen this before and it was awesome! Highly recommended!

Perfect home away from home

We stayed here for a week with our two kids (4 and 6) to be close to grandma and still within reach of the city. Charming colonial home in a good neighborhood, beautifully maintained, 4 large and comfortable bedrooms, big kitchen and dining table, full size laundry machines in the basement, gorgeous deck and backyard with swing set and best of all a darling playroom stocked with SO MANY toys. We’ve stayed in many vacation rental homes with our kids but this one takes the cake for the most kid/family friendly one. The hosts always responded quickly and were super helpful. The home is less than 5 minutes to Norwood Central where you can pick up the commuter rail into Boston. Just about a 30 minute train ride into South Station or Back Bay. It was so easy to take the kids to to see the aquarium, Boston Commons, etc. without needing to drive and park in the city. We spent our days in the busy city and came home to this big, cozy, quiet home every evening where we could really rest up. This home made for a perfect family vacation. What a gem!
