Overall, our stay was okay, but the property didn't quite live up to the listing photos or our expectations.First issue was the management company attempted to charge a pet fee when the listing says pets were free. This was quickly resolved. Second, we got a message saying our house code was change due to “internal issues”; seeing the area, it makes you leery about security issues (we had none). The biggest issue was temperature inside house. Even with thermostat set to 72, curtains shut, and with all of the ceiling fans/additional fans running, the house stayed around 79 until late at night, which made it uncomfortable, especially during the day. You could see daylight around front door, which is probably one reason the house could not stay cool and for the numerous bugs we found during our stay. The home also appeared more worn and run down than the photos. Cleanliness could definitely be improved—the tile floors and living room rug were very dirty, and we found trash left under a nightstand and one of the beds. Additionally, the listing made it seem like there was a backyard, but it's really just a tiny rocky outdoor area without any grass. On the positive side, the location was great and very convenient to downtown. The two-car garage was also a nice feature and made parking easy.Overall, this property has potential because of its location and garage, but would benefit from better cleaning, more accurate listing photos, and improvements to the cooling system/house.
