CASA DEL MONO FELIZ (also known as Colibri 6-4) is beach luxury in a relaxed atmosphere. Nestled between two beautiful beaches of Playa Langosta and Playa Tamarindo in the gated community of Tamarindo Preserve, the beach is a very short walk within a relaxed, luxurious gated community. Even though you are in a secure gated community, you are still surrounded by nature. Howler monkeys are often spotted in the trees not far from the home.

Your rental INCLUDES FULL PRIVILEGES AT THE SPECTACULAR LANGOSTA BEACH CLUB, situated on the most family friendly, pristine beach in the area. Highlights at the Beach Club are a large infinity edge pool, an excellent fitness center, pilates and yoga studio, and a wonderful restaurant and bar... all with fabulous ocean views.

We greet you with fresh flowers, fruit and coffee! Unlike most condo rentals in the area, our spacious and cheerful villa is a free-standing home surrounded by a private tropical garden with a small private pool. It's located on 'The Point' in beautiful Tamarindo Preserve, between Playa Tamarindo and Playa Langosta. This gated community is a very short walk to the quiet, immaculate beach.

Inside you'll find natural Travertine stone floors and central air conditioning, as well as teak wood ceilings and cabinetry. The custom, handmade furniture was selected for comfort as well as its tropical motif. Also included is wireless internet. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in the living room and dining room open to the private garden patio. The two upstairs bedrooms have very comfortable beds with high-count linens. Each has it's own bathroom with two sinks and a lovely private garden shower. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other has two twin beds that can be pushed together if preferred. Our wonderful property manager is always very responsive and accommodating. Personal attention is an important feature of your rental.

Lovely retreat close to everything

We had a great time staying here for a week. The location is super convenient, the pool is fantastic, and the kitchen was really well equipped. Communication was clear and easy -- highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this villa! Location was great, beaches were beautiful and host were awesome. The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable for our family of 4. Access to the local resort was a great spot for an afternoon swim in their pool, with a poolside drink. We would recommend this place.

Tamarindo Hideaway

Jeff and Gina did a quick approval and check-in update for us based on a sudden last minute VRBO cancellation. Their place in Tamarindo is just on the edge of town, easy short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc., and a very relaxing place to just hang out and relax. We enjoyed several games of Ticket to Ride, plenty of reading time, and cooling off in the pool out back. The best restaurant in town is just steps down the hill from the house - Fish and Cheeses. Highly recommend this property for a couple or small family.

Review

My friends I were in Tamarindo for a wedding. The property upon arrival was very clean and inviting. The community had security 24/7 and was questioned upon entry which gave us safety reassurance. Beds were comfortable and the outdoor showers were a cool experience. Having beach club access was great as I was able to workout at the gym daily. Would recommend staying here!

Great property

We loved everything about this place from the pool to the location!! The only negative was the code to the place was numbers and letters but also didn’t work. However, Willie answered right away when we couldn’t get in and gave us his code (numbers only) and it worked the entire time.

Excellent property

Very roomy, clean, and comfortable. Updated kitchen and relaxing bedrooms. Very quiet at night, except when the sun goes down and the howler monkeys yell for an hour or so. This, of course, just added to the experience. Tamarindo had a water shortage while we were there, which sounds like it happens from time to time. It lasted for about 24 hours, and was unnoticeable in the condo because of an auxiliary tank. Great place. Highly recommend.

Casa del Mono Feliz

The property was clean and ready for our arrival. The property manager met us and gave us tour of everything. The fruit and coffee was a nice thing to have. We really enjoyed having access to the beach club. We walked almost everywhere and it was only about a 15 minute walk to town. There is a lof of construction going on around the condo so during the day it was pretty loud and the street noise from the trucks and buses going by gets loud. There were always construction people walking by so curtains downstairs would have been nice for some privacy especially early in the mornings. The power went out for a few hours one night. Having some flashlights or candles in the condo would have helped.

Great place

The house was clean and well stocked and located (short walk to the beach or into to town). Owner and manger communicated clearly. The owner keeps a binder of helpful information in the condo. Sadly, my son and I became very ill with Covid shortly after arriving. The manager kindly brought us some Tylenol when we ran out. I’d definitely recommend.

Great Vacation Spot

Nice, clean, with a well-appointed kitchen. Beach Club membership is a nice bonus. Owners and management are very responsive and ready to assist if needed. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Pura Vida

The property was just as listed, beautiful and clean. Jeff and Gina were very responsive to communicate with leading up to the trip and then while there, a property keeper helped us with any questions or anything we needed. The location is a 10-15 minute walk to town which we enjoyed the first few days. The walk is a small incline so renting bikes was an added plus the second half if the week. We rode them on the beach too!! The only reason I gave the location 1 less star was because the 1st day as I was sitting outside, the leaf blowers were going for more than 30 minutes so I had to go inside for some quiet. I was looking forward to escaping them in Costa Rica but they seem a tool the whole world loves to use! Other than that the trip and the place was wonderful. Thank you Jeff and Gina!

Great stay in Playa Langosta!

Jeff & Gina have a great property that was perfect for our family of four. Convenient access to Playa Langosta and Playa Tamarindo and many wonderful restaurants. The beach club access was also a great perk that was used extensively. Would stay again and definitely recommended!

We love our house in the Playa Langosta section of Tamarindo because it is within walking distance to two beautiful beaches, the excitement and activity of central Tamarindo but is just far enough away to be in a quiet peaceful neighborhood that shows off Costa Rica’s natural beauty.
