Whether you want a quiet relaxing time at the beautiful Central Oregon Coast or, are into Sand Dune Recreation, this is a very spacious, clean single-level home in great condition! Located very close to Heceta Beach on a spacious and quiet wind-protected sandy lot. You can hear the beach!

A very pleasant surprise

My family and I were very pleasantly surprised with how wonderful this property was. My kids are still raving about how much they that had. The proximity to the beach was amazing, and at night I could listen to the waves. The house itself was well appointed, comfortable, and just very welcoming. You can tell that someone loves this place, and it shows.Andy was very helpful and fast replies. Would highly recommend staying here.

Family home by the beach

This was a great option for our two families. We had 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 1-6 years old. It was a great family home with lots of family friendly features including games, movies, a big sandpit outside. We would gladly boom again in the future.

Great location with plenty of space

The house is exactly what I expected from the listing. The walk to the beach was short. The beach was great! The house is in good condition and has everything we needed and more. I would recommend this house to a family who loves to be near the beach.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is surrounded by bushes and feels very private. A quick walk to the beach. Very large wrap around deck. A 5-minute drive gets you to just about anywhere in Florence. Great location!

Property was great. Close to the beach. Cool books. Beds werent very good. Bbq was buring out of one aide on the far left handle got hot. Other than that great stay

Everything was perfect and beautiful and comfortable - great energy. Andy was very kind and responsive to all my questions. I hope he continues hosting - we won't want to stay anywhere else and we had a great time at the beach. All 4 of were thrilled and I got the credit for finding it!!

This house was perfect! It was beautiful and fit all of our needs. The Taylor family hasn’t been away on vacation together before. This house was everything we thought and more! The loft was perfect for our kids and the teens ended up sleeping there. Thank you

Pleasantly Surprised

Was pleasantly surprised with how spacious and filled with amenities this location was. It was a last minute booking but it worked out perfectly. PROS - Awesome yard with fire pit - Super spacious - Great Deck - BBQ Grill - Cute little Kids Room (loft) CONS - Stair step on 1 of the deck stairs is semi broken and could be sketchy. - Had to replace the propane tank for the bbq because it was empty and they wouldn't refill because of age.

Precious & Perfectly Located

My family of 5 (myself, my husband, and three kids 5,6,12) stayed in this precious home for 2 days while driving down the coast. We scheduled family photos at Heceta Beach lighthouse just a few miles away and visited the Sea Lion Caves. We were able to wash our clothes and reenergize for the second leg of our trip. I was so focused on resting and washing and repacking while anticipating the photo shoot- it wasn’t until we had packed up to leave we decided to go to the beach that’s walking a distance from the house…it’s beautiful!!! We enjoyed the story of the house and the love and memories that had been made in the home from all the family photos on the walls…it was very welcoming. Lots of games for my kids to play and movies to watch in the sweetest little kids nook/loft; my children stayed up there most of the time. We definitely want to come back.

Just okay...

Unfortunately the property was not clean, there was trash in the bushes along the driveway and under the deck when we arrived, The bedding doesn't get washed between guests (sheets only, not blankets) the deck was not swept, the outside table was not wiped down, and the outside garbage was full of the last visitors trash that should have gone out the day before our arrival and didn't. There were multiple soft spots on the deck that felt very unsafe and a completely broken board next to a beam by the front door that my 2 year old niece almost went through. The stairs up and down the deck are very high, which made it difficult to load and unload, and difficult for the kids to get up and down without assistance. The upstairs room is much smaller than pictured and the stairs/ladder are dangerous enough we had to block off the entire area with chairs to make sure my niece couldn't get near it, and I didn't care for the crawl space opening right next to my side of the bed in the master (though I'm a bit of a baby with those things, and put a table on top of it to feel safer). It also felt strange to have all the family pictures staring at us the whole weekend, almost like a reminder that we are in someone else's home and to not get too comfy. Now for the good. The house had a wide open and laid back feel to it. The fire pit was perfect for smores and the owners provided wood to burn, as well as propane for the big, beautiful barbecue which we used for burgers and dogs on Saturday night. The driveway gave us plenty of room for all three vehicles, and the super close beach access was a great bonus to our weekend. The kitchen, floors, bathrooms (pretty much all wipeable surfaces) were very clean, and the kitchen (non-perishables) was very well stocked. There were extra goodies in the cupboards, like toaster, waffle iron, fondue set, etc. and the hall closets had all the cleaning supplies we could have hoped for which was an added bonus. The coffee shop at the corner of 101 and Heceta Beach/Kiwanda has top quality espresso and there were, both, a coffee maker and french press at the house. On the whole, if the property had a thorough clean, some minor repairs, and we hadn't had children with us, it would have been near flawless. Above it asks for a star rating for 'communication with the property manager' which is required to submit a review, and the fact is I did "okay" because we didn't communicate with the property manager at all.

We LOVED staying here. It was clean, serene, and beautiful. We felt at home right away with everything we need at our fingertips. Our 6 year old granddaughter was staying nearby with her parents. She was enthralled with the tiny loft and wanted to live there.

Lovely Getaway on the OR Coast

The house was spacious with plenty of room to hangout indoors and outdoors with a great porch and outdoor area for grilling, yard games and a campfire.The property was very clean and well stocked with dishes and kitchen gadgets.There were lots of board games.The walk to the public access beach was very easy, only about 5 minutes or less. If you’re not familiar with the Oregon coast you should check it out for your next family trip! There’s hiking, lighthouse tours, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, whale watching and plenty of shopping and great restaurants all within a short driving distance of this great VRBO

Great Place!

We had a wonderful time. The beach is super close and we lucked out and had sunshine. The house had everything we needed. The deck is amazing and my kids loved the hammocks and horse shoe pit.
