Cozy and quiet feel yet close to all of the major attractions in the area. This one bedroom one bath condo is within walking distance of Mobile Bay where you will find piers to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The complex is quiet and serene if you want to just relax or enjoy one of the pools on the grounds, yet it is only 1.5 miles to I-10 which makes it a super convenient home base for visits to Pensacola Beach, FL, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Mobile or Fairhope, AL.
The space
Entire condo. Located in a condominium complex situated high on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Mobile Bay and a skyline view of the city of Mobile, Alabama.

Don’t miss the beautiful sunsets from the bluff or pier. You may want to walk down the hill to the boat launch and get a little closer view.
Guest access
2 pools on property. Marina and public launch/pier 100 yards away. Most beautiful sunsets in the world on the Eastern Shore!
Other things to note
There is a pier on the property. It is a beautiful walk through the woods down to Mobile Bay. Great photo opportunities. We also catch lots of fish, crab and shrimp at different times of the year,

Area was convenient and in a nice area however the place itself was not necessarily clean, as the bedding didn’t seem clean and a roach was found in the kitchen

So sorry. I wish you would have notified us about cleanliness as we take this very seriously. And my house rule dictate just that to notify me with any cleaning issues. Dead bug was because they just sprayed.

Great property at a great price! Everything we could have needed was provided and the location is very convenient for exploring trips to Fairhope and Mobile!

Busy area with plenty of nearby places to see and shop

It was a short but pleasant stay. We had a medical issue and had to leave early . Host was very easy to work with .

Left early

Walking in door made me question the choice of accommodations. The odor from the plug-in defusers made me immediately question the cleanliness. There was dust on doors, mold in bathtub and on shower curtain. Some wash cloths looked like they’d scrubbed dirty boots. There was no mattress cover or mattress pad. Only a thin fitted sheet covering a lumpy mattress. Not a clothes hanger in sight. Just as well as the closet rod had been cut in half to accommodate a full size washer/dryer leaving a raw, rough cut edge. A dirty cookie sheet had been left in the oven which I scrubbed clean and ran through the dishwasher. We couldn’t get comfortable here so left cutting our trip in half. I did contact the owner who says there’s an investigation ongoing.

I own 8 units in the Daphne area, this pet friendly one bedroom is by far the cheapest. This unit received several 5 star ratings prior to this guest arrival. As an owner of several units in several states, I went to investigate the issues. There were cleaning issues that I have resolved. The primary issue was the unit above mine (which has been vacant for a month), had a water leak. My guest rules include contacting me immediately with any issues. Several of the things that I was communicated with about have absolutely nothing to do with the value of the unit. As an investor, I am a super host on airbnb and VRBO with all of my property’s. I, and the groups that I am affiliated with, will never rent to this individual or anyone affiliated with her in the future. As host, we invest millions of dollars so that guest can have a nice, affordable rental. I guess I understand this guest inhibitions for granite counter tops and a balcony view of the water, but that’s not reality. I would ask this guest if she owns an airbnb, but I am sure I know the answer. I am banning this guest from ever renting any of my units (and other airbnb/vrbo owners that I know in multiple states).

Small, but it works

Place is small especially the bedroom and how the furniture is arranged. Great place to walk or ride bikes. Nice that the hall closet was left empty so we could store our things in there like cooler, lawn chairs and fishing gear, especially since the living quarters were small. Deck was a peaceful place to sit, however we didn’t get to enjoy it too much due to daily rain. Furniture was super comfy. We have a number of suggestions for the owners for improvements, but was ok with our stay.
