At Royal Kahana 1212 you will enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean as soon as you walk in. This 12th floor, penthouse condo is sure to impress! Expansive ocean views where you can enjoy whales breaching during the winter months as well as stunning views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. This unit sleeps up to 4 guests. The well-appointed kitchen is perfect for enjoying a meal al fresco from the privacy of your lanai where you'll soak in the front-row ocean views. Or if you prefer to dine in, you can eat at the dining table for 4.

The living room has plenty of seating, a nice flat-screen TV, incredible natural lighting, ceiling fans, and central AC to keep cool. The couch converts into a queen-size sofa sleeper for extra guests. The bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed and has its own separate TV for entertainment. The bathroom has a nice tile and glass-surrounded walk-in shower. You'll also find laundry machines for added guest convenience.

Set in the idyllic Royal Kahana Resort with a pool and fitness center, this penthouse is perfect for both relaxation and adventure. Whether you're enjoying morning coffee on the lanai, basking in the tropical breeze, or exploring Maui's stunning beaches and vibrant dining scene, Royal Kahana 1015 provides a perfect base for your island escape. Royal Kahana is an oceanfront resort on the West coast of Maui between the Kaanapali and Kapalua neighborhoods. Royal Kahana has some of the best ocean views of Kahana Beach! Enjoy Maui's sunsets as well as having a rare opportunity to sneak a peek at the majestic Humpback Whales that visit in the winter. Royal Kahana is centrally located to many restaurants and shops. Just a short walk away, you can enjoy a variety of restaurant choices from Maui Brewing Company to take out Sushi at Miso Phat. Kahana is just a short drive to Lahaina town and Front Street, dining and entertainment at Whaler's Village in Ka'anapali, and championship golf courses in Kapalua. You are also welcome to all the amenities that Royal Kahana provides such as table tennis, shuffleboard, fitness center, heated pool, and gas grills on site.

Our room had great views. We saw whales and sea turtles every day. Even though it was just two of us, it was great to have the space to move around The air conditioning was not working when we arrived, it really was not needed. We never even turned it on when they fixed it. Great ocean breezes. Parking very easy. Friendly staff at the resort. Great communication with the host

Great stay!! Amazing view

This condo is perfect if you’re looking for a beachfront getaway in a location close to everything Maui has to offer. The view from the deck is amazing with lots of sights including whales and turtles! Highly recommend this beautiful place :)

Awesome balcony with ocean view

Nice apartment with amazing view from the balcony. We saw turtles, whales and beautiful sunsets every day. We enjoyed our 4 nights stay.

loved our time at this condo! it had an amazing view, loved having the pool right downstairs, and enjoyed the location with its proximity to restaurants. the condo had everything we needed, from beach chairs and towels to kitchen items. my perfect stays was very responsive and was there for anything we needed. overall had a great time here!

Nice condo with wonderful views. Nice amenities and a very good value.

Liked the property a lot!!! Would recommend a new King Size bed in the near future! But condo is as advertised and I would rent it again on another visit to Maui!!

Excellent views

Views were great. The condo was very clean. Had to fix the living room sliding door with lubricants to get it to slide. Bedroom slider didn’t work at all. Needs a facelift but that did not affect usage. Was there for two weeks. Even with the minor issues , I would stay there again.

This condo is old and is in need of repairs. Most of the windows either don’t open or rattle and when the wind blows they whistle. The inside doors all stick or drag the on the floor tile. The kitchen is very small with little counter space to prepare foods. The Refrigerator does have an ice maker but there is no water to it! The A/C didn’t work and the location of the condo is right in front of the elevators. With no A/C the windows/slats had to be open and you get all the noise from loud people coming and going on the elevators. Parking was always full and you have to park a distance from the entrance. The only thing this condo has going for it is the view from the Lanai.

Royal Kahana 1212 a perfect stay

I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the constant gas leaf blowers noise and yard maintenance. Between this property and the neighboring building there was constant leaf blowers on weekdays. Haven't they heard of electric blowers? Very irritating for hours on end. The sound echo's off the buildings an it seems like they are right next to you even tho we were up 12 floors.

Ocean front view

This is a decent 1 bedroom condo with all your basic amenities. Very small kitchen and bathroom though. The view is fantastic (we saw turtles every day) but the balcony can get pretty toasty in the afternoon sun. No worries though! The pool area has plenty of places to chase the shade if full sun is not your thing. The bbq area is well maintained as is the building in general. The pool is heated but sometimes too warm (reached 95 F). There are plenty of amenities nearby including a few restaurants, a couple of convenience stores and a couple of snorkel/paddle board rental shops. We also liked having the bus stop nearby that could get us as far south as Lahaina. If you have a car you are paying $10/day to park.

Whale of a condo!

The views from this condo are amazing! Sunsets, turtles, whales, rainbows…superb! The condo is clean, outfitted nicely and in a great location with walking distance to several restaurants. My Perfect Stays are incredible hosts. The level of communication and attentiveness was outstanding! We deducted a star as the bedroom mattress really needs to be replaced and the sofa is not very comfortable for long periods of time, like when you are watching tv in the evening after adventuring all day. At the very least the cushions on the sofa need to be replaced. I communicated this to MPS and they said they would pass it along to the owners, so hopefully that will be improved upon. We left our hoodies behind and MPS have been exceptional about contacting housekeeping, locating the hoodies and will be mailing them back to us. We couldn't have been happier with the service and the comforts of home at this condo. We will certainly look at My Perfect Stays to book our next trip to Maui.

The property has a fantastic view and is in a good location to get around the area. We used the outside deck every day and were able to look out at the water. It was comfortable and as described. The property management team was very communicative and there was always someone available to respond when needed.The key issue we had with the property was around cleanliness and the utensils available in the kitchen for cooking. We had roaches, live and dead, while we were there and we also noticed that many of the kitchen materials were not cleaned well. These two things were probably connected. The rest of the apartment seemed to be cleaned well but the kitchen was a problem. We had to clean everything before we used it. As for the bugs, we did make them aware when we discovered the issue and they offerred to send someone to spray but we did not want that with just one night left. However, it was enough to deter us from cooking in the apartment which is what we typically like to do.If they update some of the materials and correct the bug issue, I would stay again and give it a higher rating.
