Casino Pines - on the bank of the Salmon River!
This beautiful log cabin is one of just a few cabins located in the Sawtooth National Recreational Area, which sports world-famous fishing, white water rafting, and hiking.
The free-standing cabin is on a private dirt road off Highway 75 just a few miles from beautiful Stanley, Idaho. Enjoy this relaxing getaway within walking distance of spectacular hikes, world-class fishing and rafting, or just relax in the mountain air on a porch or in a hammock with your favorite book! Fish for your breakfast out your back door and cook your catch on the beautiful vintage-style wood-burning stove in the kitchen. This cabin has a private main-floor bedroom with a queen bed as well as two sleeping lofts with two more queen beds, a full bed, and two single beds.
In the scenic Sawtooth Valley, this clean and cozy cabin provides a beautifully appointed but rustic space where you can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and relax to the sound of the rippling river and the wind in the pines. The cabin is neat and clean while also surrounding you with a mix of both vintage and modern touches.
Central Idaho is an area unlike any other. Every path you find will lead you to areas that are so untouched by humans that you wonder if you are the only one who has ever been there. The rushing rivers and towering mountaintops are more impressive everywhere you look. The beautiful wilderness area in the surrounding area will call you outside for a day of hiking, fishing, swimming, and exploring. Afterward, you can spend a relaxing evening under the stars with people you love around the fire pit enjoying ghost stories and s'mores! Stanley is designated as a Dark Sky Reserve, where the stars are so bright it feels like you can reach out and touch them. Stargazing is an incredible way to spend one of your nights here. As the day comes to an end, the cozy fireplace, handmade quilts and fluffy comforters, and the logs harvested by hand from the property and used in the construction of the cabin will call you back in. Your dreams will be filled with the excitement of the day and anticipation of what tomorrow might hold.

Lovely cabin in our favorite area of Idaho. All the beds were cozy and our kids had fun sleeping in the loft. The cabin provided beautiful views out the window. We loved all the aspects of our family vacation stay at Casino Pines and can't wait to return. Highly Recommend!

Great Location
We enjoyed our stay in this well-kept cabin. The location right on the river was great for some quick fly fishing, and access to the Stanley area, Yankee Fork, Redfish and other attractions is very convenient.

Charming cabin & property, great location
We stayed here with our dog for 6 days, property was wonderful. Dog had a blast running around and the river is so close you can roll out of bed and cast your line. Thank you for a wonderful, much needed vacation!

Amazing cabin next to Salmon River
We had an incredible time in this beautiful cabin next to the Salmon river. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and just relaxing. Some incredible hiking trails also available right next to the cabin. Strongly recommend this beautiful home in a fantastic setting.

Stanley, Idaho Cabin
Very nice property! It has a well stocked kitchen, with items you might have forgotten, and close to Stanley to shop or have a bite to eat. We enjoyed the quiet with the river running and wildlife close by. Definitely the perfect place to relax!

Been here 3 times now
Our group has now stayed here 3 times and have loved it. The location is awesome and the cabin is nicely furnished. It's a touch hard to prepare meals here, since they don't have a regular stove/oven, but we mostly just do simple meals.

The owners are working on an outside pizza oven and once that is completed there will be one more fun way to prepare meals.

Wonderful mountain getaway!
Location by the river was awesome. Caught rainbow trout by literally walking out the back door. Cabin has a great balance between comfort and rustic. Close enough to Lower Stanley and Stanley for easy access to supplies, etc. Highly recommend this cabin!

Great Location
We stayed a week and each day the views got better. Many great locations in town to dine but loved the wood cook stove for an old fashioned breakfast. We did a half day ride with Mystic Saddle at Redfish and enjoyed our ATV ride with Sawtooth Traxx. Also enjoyed the hot springs. Would recommend this cabin due to location and privacy. Thank you for an amazing getaway.

Lovely spot
This house was very comfortable for our family of four. This house is charming and the location is terrific - close enough to town but with a lovely private riverfront.
We had prompt and helpful communications when we had questions for the caretaker.

Very rustic but warm and great views.
A great location but maybe a little more rustic than we were expecting. We found a lot of mice droppings and cohabitated with a bay.

We try as much as possible to prepare guests for what to expect with the information in our extensive welcome book. If doors are left open, it allows unwanted critters into the cabin. I'm sorry we didn't know you were having issues until hours before your departure so we could have addressed them. Thanks again and we wish you the best!

Location is perfect
The house is clean. Cute decor. Great location. Well stocked. I didn't read the listing well enough to realize the stove was wood burning, which was a surprise. The propane burner and grill worked perfect for everything we needed. I would love to stay here again.

Great location... Very comfortable home...
My family of 7 had a wonderful time ... This cabin is out of town just enough to be remote without the crowds. We thought the one bathroom would be a problem but it wasn't a huge issue. We did comment that the bathroom was really small... I would rent this cabin again..

Thank you so much for the review, yes our bathroom is cozy, we always call dibs and work it out, especially when you want to soak in the old fashion claw tub. The rest of the cabin and Stanley, always out weights the bathroom. We hope you stay with us again.

Perfect location!
What a great cabin in a terrific location! We (4 adults and 4 kids) spent five nights here. It's conveniently located less than 10 miles from Stanley. We fished at various lakes in the area (Pettit, Alturas, Bayhorse, Dredge Ponds, and the Kids Pond at the Fish Hatchery) and of course, on the Salmon River. The cabin has everything you might need. The living room is large, and the beds are comfy. We loved the huge kitchen table and old wood stove! We'll be back again next summer!

Stanley Idaho is an outdoor adventurer's paradise. The awe-inspiring Sawtooth Mountains and the surrounding lakes, rivers, streams, and trails provide a never-ending array of opportunities for exploring. We have camped and hiked in the Sawtooths for more than 30 years. We finally couldn't resist the call any longer and found a more permanent home from which we could adventure into the beautiful Idaho wilderness. We hope you will enjoy this beautiful place as much as we do.

The cabin sleeps up to 10 guests via 3 queen, 1 full, and 2 twin beds. The main floor bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, dresser, and closet. There are two sleeping lofts. One has a full bed and a twin bed, and the other has two queens and one twin bed. The lofts are safe for children.
