THE SPACE

Enjoy a unique stay in historic downtown Mineral Point in this spacious two-bedroom, one-bath second-floor apartment located above an operating laundromat.

The apartment features a large living room overlooking Main Street, an eat-in kitchen at the back of the apartment, and a covered enclosed porch that is perfect for relaxing, playing games, or enjoying a drink.

The kitchen includes a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, dinnerware, and plenty of counter space for preparing meals.

The living room includes a Smart TV and a futon for additional sleeping space. Both bedrooms include Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattresses and storage space for personal belongings.

The apartment has a unique historic layout. The two interior bedrooms are connected by a doorway, but there is also a separate hallway that allows guests to walk between the living room and kitchen without passing through either bedroom.

GUEST ACCESS

The apartment is located on the second floor and is accessible by stairs only.

Guests may enter from the front through a shared stairway leading to the upstairs apartment. The apartment entrance is secured with a keypad.

There is also a private covered rear stairway with a separate keypad entrance.

Guests have access to the entire upstairs apartment, including the living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and covered enclosed porch.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE

The apartment is located on the second floor and is accessible only by stairs.

The bathroom is compact due to the building’s historic layout, but it includes a large shower.

The two interior bedrooms are connected by a doorway and do not have exterior windows.

A separate hallway allows guests to walk between the living room and kitchen without passing through either bedroom.

The building does not have central air conditioning. Two window air-conditioning units are provided, one at the front and one at the back of the apartment, to help cool the space.

The apartment is heated by traditional radiators.

The apartment is located above an operating laundromat. At times, guests may hear the machines running, feel minor vibrations, or hear the laundromat door opening and closing.

Cell service inside the building may be limited depending on your carrier.

This is a unique historic property with plenty of character and an older traditional layout. It may not be the right fit for guests looking for a modern or open-concept space.

Parking space may be available at the rear of building next to private stairway entrance. Parking available on the street in front of building. In Winter please check local winter advisory in case of plowing complications. Parking space in rear is not indefinitely reserved for guests. Public parking lot across street in rear if space unavailable.
