Enjoy a stylish experience at our centrally-located home! Pure New Orleans art and tropical color set the vibes for a fun and relaxing stay. Take a beautiful walk underneath 100 year old oak trees to local coffee shops along Esplanade Avenue or hop in a short car ride to the excitement of the French Quarter and Downtown to make this a perfect base for your trip. Two bedrooms, an open living area, and a furnished patio provide all the space for your group to spread out and relax!

This funky home has 2 walkthrough bedrooms with a traditional New Orleans shotgun style floorplan. You will have everything you need in this thoughtfully decorated space. Kitchen has all appliances and cooking requirements - dine inside or out! Brand new washer and dryer in unit. Relax on the outdoor deck/patio!

Neighboring tenants next door and upstairs. Backyard is shared among tenants but patio furniture pictured in the listing are reserved for your use!

This neighborhood is very walkable. Bike riding is also a great way to get around the city. Uber and Lyft readily available - 10 minutes from the French Quarter!

Great place,great location, great host

Very nice space 1 mile from frenchman st and convenient to wherever we beeded to be. The host is very nice and responsive. Loved the wood floors and the coziness of the space. Would stay again for sure!

Jazz Fest Retreat

Great apartment. Had what you needed for a stay. Very clean. Backyard table and 2 chairs, lots of flowers. About of a walk to Jazz Fest.

Neat place, close to the French Quarter in Treme

Very nice space that worked well for visiting the French Quarter Festival. We appreciated the washer and dryer and other facilities. Folks should be aware that it's a shotgun style house so one bed is in the dining area connected to the living room and the 2nd bedroom is on the way to the kitchen in the back. Not unusual for New Orleans style houses but just something to know. Groceries, food, music and good stuff all nearby. We had a great time

Best place to stay in NOLA

Our host was amazing, attentive, prompt in responses and extremely accommodating! This was our 4th visit and this house has been the best by far! Clean, cute and in a perfect location! The host even gave suggestions on shopping, food and activities! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!!

Excellent Location

The house was perfect and clean and an easy walk to Frenchman Street area and downtown. The property manager was very helpful and responded quickly.

Lovely house!

My husband and I booked this for our anniversary trip, our first time in New Orleans. The house was cute, comfortable and well located. We had no major issues (the upstairs neighbors were a bit noisy) and we’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and safe! Loved the old shotgun home, still has some original parts, the doors and floors were beautiful. Don't let the floor squeak review scare you away. I would definitely stay there again. Oh and there was plenty of coffee😉

Perfect location for Jazzfest

Easy to access the home on arrival, nice quiet residential area just a street away from a very regular bus service into the French Quarter and city centre. Very short walk from Fairground and city park. Old fashioned style home with wooden floorboards, excellent amenities (washing machine, air con etc.) and linens. We had a lovely time.

House or quadruplex

The pictures reflect a nice home its a quadruplex straight back no privacy and walls are very thin. Hard to sleep with all the noise upstairs and outside over night. Other than the noise and difference in the online pic's it was good.

Air was leaking /couldn’t put the air on so it was hot

Tv wasn’t working at the time and the air started leaking and I couldn’t have the air on for some time so was hot

Satisfied

The property was as listed and the stay was enjoyable. Communication with the renters was nill once we got there. Asked about getting more coffee and heard nothing. Just the automated emails that tell you how to check in and out. Could have used a couple more frying pans and the oven did not have a broiler. Other than that though well worth the stay. Improvements would be easy and make the stay even better

Perfect size for us

Myself (Virginia) and my two sisters (Missouri & Texas) met here for my birthday. I had to extend a day and the owner immediately did that for me. The house is lovely, beds and pillows were very comfortable, towels were plush. Plenty of bathroom and kitchen supplies. Really clean and comfortable. The location is wonderful, close to all things we wanted to do, French Quarter, Bourbon St. plenty of restaurants. Unfortunately my timing for weather was off, we were there for the snowstorm of January 2025 with nothing at all open. I had to write to the owner multiple times for questions and he immediately responded to me and helped out. We were very, very pleased with our stay at this property and with the owners. I highly recommend this as a vacation for others.

Gastro getaway

I brought my son and met up with an old friend to show them this wonderful city and take a well earned break from my normal life. We walked everywhere and explored a lot more than the French quarter (which still has ancient patina and magic). The trees in City Park arboretum and botanical gardens are amazing with so many varieties and shades of green. It's not often that actually plan to put on weight but the Cuisinebwill make you want to break out the pots and pans in their great kitchen with granite and gas stove and attempt some pairings. Thank you for break into living history and a wonderful porch to sit and ponder on.

Host is an excellent communicator

My husband and I stayed at this cute house on Barracks Street. We were very thankful to be in a quieter part of town away from downtown and the French Quarter. Parking was easy, check-in was easy and check-out was easy. We visited in December and had to use the heat because the weather was cool and occasionally rainy. It was so nice having heat in each room. Because this unit shares walls with other rentals, small children would not be ideal for the noise possibility. It is an older house that has been updated but has old house creaking. Very cute colors and great artwork.

Nice Stay

Property was clean, easy to check in and was described as listed. Wish there were a few blankets in the rental as it got pretty cold over the weekend. Something to keep in mind is one of the neighbors has some small dogs that bark a lot in the morning.

Great place

The property was great and safe. It was just minutes from everything. Shower, kitchen, living beds was very clean and organized. I can’t wait to come back again. I will be looking forward to renting the same place again.

Hidden gem!

First off, it was a miracle that this was open for our trip. The photos don’t do the property Justice! This is an authentic New Orleans shotgun house, impeccably decorated with local flavor! We stayed for nearly 2 weeks and we felt “at home” the entire time. Neighbors were friendly and we never had any difficulties with on-street parking. All amenities were better than described. We had a fishing charter scheduled and the full-size fridge & freezer left us open to catch our limits without worry for storage! Carter communicated quickly and went above and beyond as a host. He gave recommendations & response time was immediate. He even found a free EV charge station for me (not easily found in NO!). I’m a first-year season ticket holder for the Saints. You can bet I’m going to be staying here on the regular! If y’all don’t book him before I can!

Charming home with NOLA vibes

The house is Bohemian with New Orleans vibes. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this home. It’s fairly close to the French Quarter and Frenchtown. The contact person was easy to work with.
