Amazing home for multi-family vacation

The property is gorgeous. Great accomodations for our 3 family, 13 person group. t made check in quick & easy, and was quick with responses to any questions we had. Use of resort facilities is a big plus, also. Definitely a perfect fit for us.

Spring Break with Friends

The property was clean, spacious, and perfect for a large group. Getting in and out of Hacienda Pinilla was tough at night but not an issue during the day. Beach club was definitely expensive but so is Tamarindo. Overall a great stay at the property.

Vacation house of your dreams

This is an absolutely amazing house. We spent the weekend filled with swimming, volleyball, soccer games, and more. There is so much to do at the house itself that going to the beach is just an added bonus. I highly recommend staying here!

This was an amazing property. We were 19 family members. The house was perfect in size and location. I suggest you rent a car. Things are not walkable distance. Our concierge was superb, He took care of our every whim: from excursions to surfing to chefs. My only complaint was (and perhaps it was a one off). But the house looked like it was not cleaned prior to our arrival. It may have been cleaned weeks ago, but no one checked in on it before our arrival. The house is a courtyard construction therefore open to the elements. The kitchen and bathrooms were very dusty ( that was rectified once I called our concierge). Our food spoiled because the fridge wasn’t working properly.(Again open to the elements). But overall the people of Costa Rica were very friendly and we had a blast. Cleaning crew may have slacked but concierge was top notch ( Shout out to Joustine). Our vacation would not have been the same without him.

Hi Thank you for your review. And we acknowledge that the house was not super clean. Unfortunately we went through remodel the week prior and it got delayed. We did clean the house prior your arrival but of course it was not enough. That’s why we sent extra stuff to clean the house during your stay to correct this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience. With that being said, we always keep the house clean and in shape for our guests. This was I different case as remodel being delayed, made the cleaning process more difficult. We know that after sending the staff during your stay, the house remain in a way better shape.

The arrangement of the house is perfect! We could spread out and all be together. The kids made great use of the sand volleyball court and pool. The property manager, Joustinne was so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful house

Hello we stayed there recently, house is amazing. Host is great, but there are a few things that don’t work in the home , fans , dryers, ac in a room or two, yes it got worked on but didn’t maintain the cold, beach house was closed for maintenance and no one told us until we arrived and found out, no beach chairs at the beach,we had to drive to Tamarindo for food or entertainment.

Great property!

My family of 11 (3 generations) loved the house. The kids swam in the pool sun and rain. They didn’t care it was raining on them with no roof over the pool. The location made it easy to get to the activities at the beach. Thanks.

By and large excellent

Spacious and well appointed. Good location. Responsive and helpful concierge. All appliances worked. Pool was enjoyable. Beaches and beach club are very nice and easy to access.Only complaints are that were very few places to sit in common areas that are well lighted. Air conditioning in bedrooms excellent but no air conditioning in common areas. This is because all common areas are open to the sky above the pool.

Beautiful space for multiple families

We were a group of five families traveling with 4 small children. This property was perfect as most of the bedrooms were the same size and all but two had their own bathrooms (2 smaller bedrooms shared a bathroom). We felt very at home and all of the amenities worked really well. We also had access to the beach club, which was perfect during the day for lunch. Olga was easy to communicate with, and helped us with some minor issues with ceiling tiles falling due to high winds and fixed the dishwasher that wasnt working upon our arrival as well. The location is perfect and plenty of parking. We will be back!!

Great experience

Safe area with two security checkpoints, clean house on arrival, very spacious as well. Pool was a feature especially with volleyball. It’s further than 15 min from tamarindo, it’s more like 30 - 35 minutes. There is a chunk of about 10 min where the road isn’t paved to the house so travel over it is slow. The beach club is great, we rented golf carts there. Joustine the concierge was helpful throughout the trip. We also purchased a chef for a few of the days and that was fantastic too. There’s nothing walking distance from the house, maybe the grocery store but it would be a long walk. Need golf carts or a car to get around the area. Overall great experience.

Family Adventure

I was impressed with level of security which made me feel more at ease. Friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Maintenance issues were immediately addressed. Our maintenance professional was efficient and courteous. Great amenities! All my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay, especially the pool and pool table. The kitchen is unique and perfect for large families. The only thing I would have done, was to have pest control come prior to our arrival. One of the guests found a scorpion on her bed in the evening. And after a severe rainfall, we had infestation of gnats/ants coming in from laundry drains.
