Trying to sleep in "LUMPY'S BED".

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Queen size bed should have been thrown away a long time ago. No reason to have a rental with that poor of a bed. We stayed 3 nights and did not want to spend another night in it. Also door to balcony would not open so we couldn't use it. Previous reviews show that the owner is aware and hasn't done anything about either one of these problems.

House was clean neighborhood was quite and host was amazing& communicated everything with us. Overall great place and property staff would definitely book with them again

Weekend getaway

Pefect little home for our crew. Close access to the ferries and beautoful beach up the road. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful voew from the balconies for mprning coffee!

Blue water adventure 4.0

Perfect spot for those who don’t want to spend an hour motoring to the Deep Blue Yonder.

Several things to consider : (1) STAIRS ( steep and long), not good for elders or mobility issue. I knew there were stairs but didn't realize it was such a burden. I'm in ok shape but it was hard on the calves after a few days. (2) NO WiFI. Owner did not offer. This is lame since we are paying to stay here and even though we could use our own data on our phone .. the reception was also really bad so it was hard to get online at all ! (3) Linens NOT provided. I don't remember if that was disclosed in the listing but I thought it was after we booked in an email from the realtor company. (4) The rental office is not really close to the house. It was about 15 min which is a pain. Again, didn't think it was far until I got the address after booking. (5) The Balcony door on the second floor didn't open easily. You have to really maneuver it but I didn't bother. Husband got it to open but should be like that. (6) Kitchen is on the highest floor which is weird and was a pain to get food/stuff down flights of stairs when checking out. The rental company though was fine. They were professional and answered when we contacted them. No fault on them. I knew the kitchen was smaller and the dining room even smaller but we booked late for labor day holiday so we had to chose this one but I would not if you have a bigger family. We had six but the dining table/area was WAY too small. No other place to sit and eat .

This place could use a facelift inside and out

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation rental needs to be renovated inside. It's dark and old looking. The was no wifi available. I was told when i called to inquire about the wifi at Swedes that i could go down to one of the restaurants and use their wifi. Not what i wanted to hear. The smoke alarm in two of the bedrooms went off at five in the morning. I called for someone to come fix this problem and they did. In one of the bedrooms someone had put a sheet up on the door to keep the light from coming in. Very tacky looking. I won't be renting this place ever again. For the price that they charged it should have been much nicer.

Had some issues and a little disappointing

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi I wanted to let yall know a couple of issues we had. The security code is definitely not 1234. Fortunately the police officer i met 15 minutes later was understanding and after passing the DL check and showing him the emails and paperwork I did have he left without further delay. The lady next door was really cool about it given the flashing lights woke her up. When i went to sign the paperwork I told the ladies up front about door knobs on 2nd and 3rd floor balconies being broke or loose. The 3rd floor door knobs seemed to just be loose. We did finally get the 2nd floor door open sunday when I tried it one last time. Not sure what is wrong with it but the mechanism need some attention Absolute minimum in the kitchen. First time ive ever rented a place that didn't have even a ****** skillet. We cooked out of 2 small pots all weekend.The gfi on the dock is broken. Would not reset. Power might have been off for the dock repairsAnd last but not least the smoke detector on 3rd floor is dying and beeps every 20-30 minutes. Overall none of the issues ruined the trip. We caught fish and made it home safely but I really expected more from a swedes rental. The cost per night, add in the potential up charge for Linens and having to go in person to y'alls office to sign a paper that very easily could be signed electronically, really makes airbnb or vrbo the easiest option to rent from

Enjoyed our stay

Red fish tower was not a disappointment! Fishing right by the cabin and beach access right down the road we had a great time just not long enough!
