Our spacious beach house, with 7 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, has access to one of Oahu's few remaining, truly secluded beaches (~5 min walk). We've got air conditioning in every room, vaulted ceilings, 4K TVs, and luxury mattresses.

We're located close to some of Oahu's must-see attractions including Turtle Bay, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pipeline, Sunset Beach, Kawela Bay, Gunstock Ranch, Malaekahana Campground, Hukilau Marketplace (for all of you foodies), Haleiwa Town, and more. You'll have quick access to a ton of activities like golfing, tennis, pickleball, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, sailing, horseback riding, ATV's, zip-lining, paddle and body boarding.

* Please keep in mind that you are visiting Hawaii countryside where the animals are a regular and important part of life. Insects, roosters, lizards, rodents, etc live alongside humans here. We will always have a clean and well-kept home for you, but please be advised that insects and pests are not uncommon, especially if you attract them with unattended food.

* Our inventory of beach & sports gear is constantly changing as things get added or replaced. Such is the nature of outdoor "toys." It will always look similar to what you see pictured but may not be exactly the same.

* Map pins on this website often show the approximate, not precise, location of rental properties. Our beach house is located between Mālaekahana State Recreation Area and Turtle Bay Resort. Driving to the resort takes about 10 minutes, where you may access their free parking lot, beach, shops, restaurants, and fee-based activities like: tennis & pickleball court rental, horseback riding, golf, spa, fitness center (offering weekly passes), surf/SUP lessons, helicopter tours, charter boat adventures, etc.

* Children count as guests and need to be disclosed in booking requests. Max 18 Guests. Extra guest fees apply after 14 guests.

* Service Animals as defined by law are permissible. Emotional Support Animals cannot be accommodated.

Wonderful home base on Oahu’s North Shore

I traveled with a total of 11 family members from ages 9 to 75 and everyone loved the space. We had more than enough room for our group. The place is charmingly decorated, clean, and stocked full of anything you’d need (including beach towels, beach gear, all the cooking utensils and appliances, etc.). Each room has its own AC unit so you can adjust to individual sleeping tastes, and having two refrigerators and sitting areas was a bonus with such a big group. We spent most of our days exploring the island, but it was wonderful to come back to this lovely house after each long day m. There is so much to do within 10-30 minutes of the house in either direction - the location is awesome. We made some wonderful memories here and would recommend to anyone traveling with a larger group to Oahu!

The house was clean, spacious, and well maintained. Having all the beach items was very helpful. The nearby beach was secluded and very nice, but closer to a 10 minute walk. Our issue was with the accuracy of the location. While an address was provided, the map image on listing pinned a property that was a 10 minute drive away and in a more exclusive area. The photos also showed a security gate that is not on the actual location, and appears to be at the incorrectly pinned location. If the listing had been more clear on the exact location, it would have avoided some confusion and set our expectations. That is the one thing that kept us from rating higher. I would recommend this to other large groups with the caveat that you need to make sure you fully understand where it is located.

The listing does note that the map pin is not the home’s exact location and provides the approximate distance from it. The full property address is displayed in the Vrbo guest dashboard immediately after booking and was also included in the rental agreement, direct messages, and the house manual with aerial images and location photos, all provided well before arrival. The beach is approximately a five-minute walk via the recommended direct route. Depending on walking pace, route, and whether guests are carrying beach items or traveling with children, the walk can take longer. We appreciate the feedback and will continue working to make these details as clear and easy to review as possible.

Perfect property for a large family. Loved that it’s next to the muni golf course and beach is a 5 min walk. We had a blast and the whole family loved this place. Its location was perfect by the food truck court. Host was very attentive and brought a portable AC unit within mins cuz the main family room by the kitchen ac unit was not working and they accommodated us quickly. We’d love to stay here again! Highly recommended.

Wonderful!

Wonderful stay with the entire family. There were 14 of us. Children and grandchildren. Plenty of room and house was very well kept. A couple of minor issues were resolved promptly!

Authentic Experience

This was the perfect family place. Walking distance to a private beach, close to food trucks, stores, and activities- yet away from touristy spots. Felt like an authentic experience. The house has pretty much everything you need. Host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for a great holiday!

Pros: This property is a very clean and functional house for a stay with a larger party.There are ample bedrooms (comfortable and clean), great bathrooms, a fully functional kitchen.Location is nearby a beach and local golf course.Good food truck options.Cons:The house location is deceiving. We thought that we were renting in an entirely different location and planned around that location; so that created more driving than expected.We had some AC issues, but the host resolved them.The front gate had issues and due to lack of sun; had a battery that kept dying, so we had to manually open and close the gate.Weird warning on the fridge about safety and neighbors, made us slightly concerned.Overall:Great house, but needs more clarity when booking. Would stay again with a large party!

This house is updated, big, and clean. We didn’t have frequent contact with host there was a caretaker to communicate with. Our biggest issue was that this listing felt like false advertising as close to a secluded beach. The main view is a golf course. To get to the beach you have to either trespass across the course or trek 0.26 miles around the course through a side street also claiming using that path is trespassing to get to the beach. Our party of individuals included young children and elderly so those walks not being advertised meant we ended up driving to easier to access beaches and was a major headache for our trip. Also the amount of information we received that the locals in the area don’t like anyone in the rental was definitely felt by us despite trying to keep to ourselves other than attempting the walks to the beach. If you are looking for a big clean home and don’t mind driving to beaches this is a great choice but if you’re looking for close secluded beach access this listing would not meet those requirements.

North Shore Adventure

We had a great stay in Secluded Sands with our immediate and extended family. The hosts/manager responded promptly to questions. The A/C worked well and the kitchen was well stocked.

Great place

Me and the wife had been wanting to stay on the north shore for a long time and this was the perfect place to do so...very close to turtle beach and the Polynesian cultural center. Very quiet and secluded but still close enough to enjoy the whole island

Amazing place to bring our family

We had a wonderful time staying in this home on the North Shore and will definitely come again! Home was large enough for our big family and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sunrise views from the home are unbeatable.
