Head to the tropics of The North Shore and see for yourself why our guests describe our destination/vacation home as an "island paradise." Our spacious beach house, with 7 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, has access to one of Oahu's few remaining, truly secluded beaches (~5 min walk). We've got air conditioning in every room, vaulted ceilings, 4K TVs, and luxury mattresses.

We're located close to some of Oahu's must-see attractions including Turtle Bay, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pipeline, Sunset Beach, Kawela Bay, Gunstock Ranch, Malaekahana Campground, Hukilau Marketplace (for all of you foodies), Haleiwa Town, and more. You'll have quick access to a ton of activities like golfing, tennis, pickleball, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, sailing, horseback riding, ATV's, zip-lining, paddle and body boarding.

* The home has one shared hot water tank for all bathrooms. For larger groups, we recommend spacing out showers or keeping them shorter so everyone has plenty of hot water.

* Please keep in mind that you are visiting Hawaii countryside where the animals are a regular and important part of life. Insects, roosters, lizards, rodents, etc live alongside humans here. We will always have a clean and well-kept home for you, but please be advised that insects and pests are not uncommon, especially if you attract them with unattended food.

* Our inventory of beach & sports gear is constantly changing as things get added or replaced. Such is the nature of outdoor "toys." It will always look similar to what you see pictured but may not be exactly the same.

* Map pins on this website often show the approximate, not precise, location of rental properties. Our beach house is located between Mālaekahana State Recreation Area and Turtle Bay Resort. Driving to the resort takes about 10 minutes, where you may access their free parking lot, beach, shops, restaurants, and fee-based activities like: tennis & pickleball court rental, horseback riding, golf, spa, fitness center (offering weekly passes), surf/SUP lessons, helicopter tours, charter boat adventures, etc.

* Children count as guests and need to be disclosed in booking requests.

* Service Animals as defined by law are permissible. Emotional Support Animals cannot be accommodated.

This Pahipahialua Beach area was the perfect spot for our stay. The house offered a peaceful retreat, tucked far enough from the main road that it was blissfully quiet, yet still close to local conveniences like the resort, food trucks, and grocery store. It was our first visit to the North Shore, and we were thrilled with how easy it was to access excellent swimming and snorkeling spots. A highlight was having curious dolphins join us in the water. What an unforgettable experience! Our group fit comfortably in the home, with plenty of room to spread out or gather together. The house was clean, welcoming, and well-equipped for cooking meals at home. Big thanks to our hosts for providing a smooth experience start to finish.

We had a great stay in Secluded Sands with our immediate and extended family. The hosts/manager responded promptly to questions. The A/C worked well and the kitchen was well stocked.

Private, Comfortable, and Ideal for Families

The house was perfect for our large family group with plenty of space to spread out, and the setup made it super easy to stay comfortable. The beach is just a short walk and felt practically private every time we went. The house had everything we needed and more. AC in every room (huge plus), fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and tons of beach gear that we actually used. The baby gear was also a lifesaver since we were traveling with a toddler. Location-wise, it doesn’t get much better. Easy drive to Turtle Bay, PCC, Haleiwa, and some great food spots. But honestly, we loved just hanging out at the property or walking to the beach most days. Check-in was smooth with the smart lock, and having on-site parking made coming and going stress-free. The host caretaker was easy to communicate with. All around, this really felt like an island home away from home. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

Excellent accommodations

The house is very well cared for. We had a group of 8 that came to Oahu for UH graduation. The space was perfect for our group. All amenities and aspects of the house are in good working order. The location has great access to a secluded portion of the North Shore beach within a short walking distance. Highly recommended.

Great location for large groups

We spent just over a week at Secluded Sands. There were two families, totaling 10 people and the home was perfect. Quiet neighborhood with walkable access to a secluded beach. Location provided easy access for day trips even to Honolulu.We communicated several times with the local property manager. The only issue not resolved during our stay was access to TV streaming services, but we didn’t miss those all that much.Would highly recommend for larger groups o that need some space to spread out!

Truly gorgeous area of Oahu!

We had a great time staying here! Thanks so much for hosting us. A few of us are big into running and really loved the trails around Turtle Bay as well as the paved path along Gunstock Ranch. The horses are friendly and came right up to say "aloha." The old WW2 pillbox was such a cool surprise too.

Spacious, peaceful, and ideally located near Turtle Bay and Kawela Bay

We absolutely loved our stay at Secluded Sands. The home was spotless, organized, and ready for us the moment we arrived. It was perfect with two separate living areas that made it easy for everyone to relax and spread out after a day in the sun. The private beach access was a major highlight. After following the simple directions in the guest guide, it was just a quick and easy walk to a quiet, uncrowded stretch of sand that felt like our own slice of paradise. Beach gear was fully stocked and ready to go. Location-wise, it doesn’t get much better. The house is right by Turtle Bay and Kawela Bay, which gave us easy access to calm snorkeling spots, scenic trails, and more gorgeous coastline. Turtle Bay parking was free, surprisingly, for our day of snorkeling in Kuilima Cove. And the nearby food trucks were a hit. Tons of variety and super convenient with plentiful options when we didn’t feel like cooking. I would definitely recommend this home and if we ever go back to Hawaii we would stay here again.

Pros: -Quiet location-Safe location-Amazing views-Spacious for a big Ohana-Sunsets/sunrises are breathtaking -Close to grocery stores/fruit stands/beaches-clean and comfortable Cons:-Entry gate would work sometimes-Booked this property because we thought the beach was right outside the house but it was down the street so if you’re thinking it’s a beachfront, it’s not. -trash was full before we got there from previous renters (a fee if you do not take it out on Tuesdays/Fridays)-if you’re looking to have a get together (esp being from Hawaii born and raised, we come with a big Ohana) it will not be approved due to a clause they said they have which means the amount of people you can have in and out the house is 14 (basically the max of people that is accounted for while renting there) we wanted to have a dinner for my mom and it was not accommodated so we had to have a plan B. I found this very disappointing as it was not a “party”. For the price that we paid, to be told we basically can’t have visitors but it states “as long as we let the host know and they don’t stay past 12am it was ok was really upsetting.

Wonderful for large family

This house was wonderful for our large family. We had 9 adults and 2 babies. There was a pack and play,a stroller and a wagon, which helped enormously. The house was very clean, very comfortable beds,and the AC was cold. The large dining table was a great bonus. The walk to the beach was a little further than we thought,but not terrible. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this house.The ad stated 2 washers and dryers but one was out of service, but it really didn't impact us at all. Host was very communicative and check in was a breeze. Also, really appreciated the fully fenced and gated yard.

Would recommend this place to anyone

Absolutely incredible experience staying at Secluded Sands. Would recommend to anyone. There are enough rooms and beds to easily accommodate 2-3 families. The kitchen had all the little things that you need (utensils, seasonings, pots/pans, cups, bowls, plates, etc.). There were lots of toys, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The wagon came in extra handy. The stand up paddle boards were great to have at nearby Kawela Bay where we saw lots of turtles. Will stay here every time we come to visit Oahu. Thank you so much!

Perfect for us

Bria was very responsive with any questions we had. She also let us know that someone would be coming to fix the gate, very professional. House fit my entire family of 11 (including myself). Great location, close to many beaches and very quiet area. Other than that worth the money spent and will book again if we come back in the future.
