Experience Your Vacation Haven

Champagne and Roses is a bright, bubbly two-story Destin beach cottage rental in Destin’s highly coveted Crystal Beach community. This safe community in the heart of Destin is perfect for families, and this home in particular has lots of space for kids and friends of all ages to spread out. This upscale home’s new furnishings will make your beach vacation getaway experience all the rosier!

The home is well-appointed with wood-style flooring, natural stone countertops, and mahogany furniture pieces. Ornate accents add to the home’s opulence without detracting from it’s creature comforts. The main living area has plenty of space for lounging and entertaining. The full kitchen has a 6-seater granite counter bar, and the dining table seats 8 guests. Just outside on the covered patio, you’ll find a gas grill…great for a family BBQ and a day outdoors as the kids play on the lawn.

The first floor also has a master bedroom with king bed, TV, and spacious master bath with a double vanity, 5’ tiled shower, and spacious walk-in closet.

The 2nd floor has a fun surprise—an additional living space with a sofa sleeper and LED TV. The living space opens to the elegant, covered balcony where there’s plenty of seating and a charming bird’s eye view of the Crystal Beach community.

Two of the other bedrooms on the 2nd floor are king master suites. One has a private en suite and the other shares the full bathroom with the other guest bedroom. The final guest room has 2 full-over-full bunks and an LED TV. There’s plenty of space in this incredible beach cottage.

Of course, you’ll probably want to spend your time in the sun (who could blame you?). Destin’s sugar white sand beaches are a couple of blocks or a short (seasonally-available) tram ride away. Even closer is the posh Crystal Beach community pool, a stunning lagoon-style pool complete with hot tub, waterfall, and tiki lounge area.

Spring Break w Teens

Great property, location and size. Located right near food, shopping and the beach. Although it was colder than what we were planning the pool was heated and had a hot tub. Rhe house was perfect size. Ample beds and bathrooms for the kids to spread out and have their own space. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

We had a very good time in Destin. This rental was just perfect for our family of 7 adults and 4 children. The rooms and bathrooms worked out perfectly. Very clean, every appliance that you may need. Great location and close to beaches, food, and shopping. Anything you may want was very close. Very nice rental and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Birthday Week

Location was great- a short walk to the pool and 6 min walk to the beach. The staff at the community was very friendly and do a great job taking care of the aesthetics. The house was very spacious and had all the kitchen necessities for cooking and feeding the family. The bathrooms were clean, great water pressure and hot water for everyone lol. Overall had a great stay. The only concern were that the floors weren’t clean when we arrived. We have infants that like to crawl and the floors weren’t mopped prior to us arriving. Also, communication about maintenance arriving was poor. We had cleaners, a dishwasher guy and pest control come throughout the week and we were not notified of anyone coming which is quite scary cause one of them was not “scheduled” per the property management company and we had the baby and my sister home alone. Other than that- I would recommend and stay again.

Wonderful experience

Our recent vacation was everything we hoped for and more! We stayed at the "Champagne & Roses" home managed by "My Vacation Haven" in Destin, FL. When you look at pictures on the internet, I think we all hope that it is what it looks like, and it was, if not better! The home was immaculate and the perfect place to vacation with friends and family. The kitchen and dining room layout was perfect, and had everything you needed to prepare meals at home. (It also had a separate ice maker which for some reason worked out so well!?) The bedrooms and bath were clean and spacious, and one room had 4 bunk beds which worked out perfectly for the teenagers in the group. The check in process was flawless, and the communication and helpfulness of the management staff was so reassuring and helpful. We were also impressed with Destin, FL. The beach was a short six minute walk from our house, and the white sand beaches were beautiful. Also, the grocery stores, shops, restaurants and places to see were endless, and you could always find an activity to match the mood and interests of our family. We could not recommend "My Vacation Haven" and the VRBO experience any higher.

Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay, however.... we were given the wrong address 214 instead of 218, we were told to check in -- there is no place to check in, there was not enough parking, they offered us an additional day at a discounted rate, and then the door code didnt work. we had to ask another guest for the gate code when we got in because they did not let us know we needed a gate code in addition to the door code. The communication breakdown was difficult-- we would stay again, now that we know how it works, It would have been an amazing experience had all these things been communicated ahead of time! Also the house is a little farther from the beach than it says-- too far to walk, and they Do have a bus that will take you, but they did not let us know how to get in touch with the bus. we were able to flag them down on the 3rd day but by then we had already paid for beach parking for 3 days

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rent homes on a regular basis for family trips across the U.S. Our first experience with My Vacation Haven was a Thanksgiving disaster. Less than 24 hours after arrival we notified management of (1) significant black mold and a very strong smell inside the washer machine; (2) the "needs service" and "replace filter" lights for both the fridge and the separate ice maker. We had to purchase bottled water and bagged ice since we could not use the fridge or ice maker. We also noticed cockroaches in various areas of the home the second day we were there. As we could not use the washer machine, I requested additional towels and I requested a manager contact me regarding the issues above. Even after I sent repeated text messages, I heard from no one for 2 days (and no towels were delivered). My wife and I spent the day before Thanksgiving at a local laundry mat washing our family’s clothes so we had clean clothes to wear. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of service we received, as well as the condition of the home we rented. All of these events are well documented in the text message exchanges and photos. I will be contacting corporate and requesting a refund. I strongly do NOT recommend My Vacation Haven properties to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation.

It was a great place to stay! It had some sand toys and chairs that we could use on the beach. You do need to bring trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher detergent and dish soap and some other things like that for the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and clean. You can find it cheaper on my heaven vacation.

My only complaint would be the furniture needs to be replaced. It’s all kind of wobbly and uncomfortable. there was plenty of chairs and things to set up at the beach so we didn’t have to have a ton of our own and even without the shuttle the walk isn’t that bad. Overall, we had a great time and we would book again.

Great property but needs attention

The property and area was nice but the homes heating and cooling system needed maintenance. Several calls and texts to management were made and issue never resolved. There is a pest control issue also that needs to be addressed.

I appreciated the tent and beach chairs that came with the property. This came in very handy at the beach. The beds were very comfortable. I think that the couches in the living room should be changed. They were old and sank down when you sat on them. I also didn’t like the fact that I had to empty the bathroom trash cans before we left. I’ve never had to that in a vacation rental. Overall it was a really wonderful rental. I would rent it again.

Amazing for family!

We booked this place because of location and how nice the house and amenities looked online. The house was exactly as described, Beautiful and well kept with everything you would need. They even had an ice maker!! It came with beach chairs and a wagon which was nice for the short walk to beach. The pool area was wonderful with lots of lounge chairs and shaded seating too. Lots to do in the area from shopping unique shops to the big name shops, boat rentals and fun things for all ages! Highly recommend the Donut Hole but get there early and Fudpuckers for lunch and alligator viewing. The Blue Angels and the Navel Air museum, both free only 1 1/2 hours away and worth the drive! Everything was just amazing and we loved the bunk room for the kids and all the beds were comfortable! We would highly recommend. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars for location is because of the beach space allotted for people not staying directly on the beach. It was pretty thin.

Fine house needs TLC

Nice beds, well stocked kitchen and great bunk room. It’s time though for a deep cleaning and floor scrubbing as well as a top-off on pest control. TLC needed: upstairs porch door has a taped up broken window, first floor shower door needs re-hung it doesn’t close properly and water gets all over the bathroom floor. Couches are much lived -in and need replaced, dining room table is super uncomfortable and heavy tall chairs are difficult to move around.

Fantastic and Everything We Needed

This house was absolutely amazing. The checkin was very easy and the app they use made it easy for me to send the access details to the rest of our party. THis kitchen was very well equipped and allowed us to cook some great meals. Proximity to the pool was magnificent - right around the corner, but far enough away that when it got packed and loud that it didn't impact our stay. Plenty of space. Kids loved the bunk beds. My only bone to pick was the cleanliness of the floors and counters, we had to wiped them down and vacuum because we walked around barefoot our first day and our feet were completely black and covered in sand...however, we are not beneath putting in some work. Other than that, this place was everything we needed and more.

Beach vacation

The house was lovely and stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The kids loved the waffle maker! My only complaint was that after driving for over 6 hours and arriving at 4pm the cleaning crew was nowhere near done. We had to sit in our car and they said it would be 30 minutes, but after that time passed we asked if we could at least go upstairs because we wanted out of the heat and out of the car. For the amount of money I spent on the rental, I really believe it should’ve been ready by check in time.
