A peaceful oasis for a vacation (or a working vacation as I was on). Immaculate, friendly, extremely comfortable and private. Car isn’t needed, as there is a local ride share (Circuit) that can take you anywhere in the neighborhood economically.

Amazing home!

One of a kind house with beautiful art work made by the owner and an amazing garden and outdoor area. Highly recommend for a unique breathtaking experience. Host is very accommodating and has amenities just like a hotel!

This property was so different and beautiful. Location was perfect and only a 10-15 min walk to Wilton Drive, but quiet on the street. Amazing host!!

House

Super beautiful house with incredible scenery. Owner was very nice and helpful with any questions. The house was cozy. I recommend this house to any smaller groups who want a beautiful place to stay in a pretty nice location.

Beautiful property

Enjoyed the house and pool very much! The house and outdoors is full of art pieces. We enjoyed everything including the lizards. Everything was about 10-15 minutes away. The beach, restaurants and stores. Thank you Michael!

Magical stay

When we arrived, the owner of the property, Michael, met us & gave us a tour of the home. It’s an extremely well kept & beautiful home with so many places to explore. This was the most unique home I’ve ever stayed in! The art pieces throughout inside and outside the home are made by Michael. You can really feel the love he put into this home. He was extremely easy to communicate with & helped with any questions we had. It was a group of 6 of us and we all slept comfortably. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Comfortable and Unique Property

This is a comfortable, artsy house in a quiet neighborhood . The Host, Michael, is very attentive to any needs and is great communicating about things inside and outside the house. Beautiful Tropical Backyard/Pool area too. Close to everything whether driving or walking. ---Jim

Island Oasis in the middle of town

Breathtaking tropical plants, bushes, vines & trees surrounded by art throughout. A renowned artist’s life work, a true labor of love. Every inch of this property was used tastefully and beautifully. The multiple water features add whimsy and the beautiful scent of Frangie pans and trumpet flowers are intoxicating. Totally private, clean and oh so comfy. The owner does a quick walk through which is necessary. He is a delightful human. The pictures don’t do it justice. We really wished we could stay longer.

Artist’s paradise

This home combines intriguing and creative art with perfect and practical amenities. Every inch of space reflects the owner, Michael’s unique touch. This property is meticulously maintained, inside and out. The private grounds around the pool are lush with tall palms and unique plantings. Spend some time with Michael to appreciate his passion for art and his generous and friendly spirit.

Very unique home, in an oasis-like setting. Owner’s artwork(including furniture) is situated throughout the property. The garden and grounds are amazing and the art is unique and inspiring. Alas, the problem is form over function. There were no comfortable chairs in the house or poolside. After mentioning this, the owner did go buy a basic lounge chair for the pool, and grabbed a chair from the closet for inside.. The kitchen was poorly stocked with cooking utensils, and not designed for cookiing, which is basically discouraged, making the lack of outside grill (despite the listing stating otherwise) even more disappointing. No screens on windows and doors was also problematic, as the owner requested doors to always be closed to keep out bugs. The direction to take out the trash nightly was annoying. The owner is a wonderful guy, and did try to address my concerns.Priivacy- The owner lives in an attached, but totally separate building; however he cleans the pool and patio every morning,, which is necessary and appreciated, as the vast flora (amazing!), while providing natural privacy, drops lots of leaves. So not great privacy from @7-8:30 every morning. The pool is unheated, so more like a cold plunge in Feb.The management company sucks- they only cleaned and changed linens once during my three week stay; refused to get adequate bathmats or enough towels, and provided only a (hot) duvet for beds. Stay for a week or less, eat out, and you will relax & enjoy!

During your extended three-week stay we made every effort to respond to your numerous requests, providing additional seating, extra linens and towels, and even arranging complimentary cleanings beyond what is normally included. Despite our efforts to accommodate each request, it seemed difficult to fully meet your expectations. As noted in the listing, the home is a private vacation rental in a tropical garden environment, which naturally requires keeping doors closed and occasional outdoor maintenance such as pool and patio cleaning to keep the space enjoyable for guests. Most guests who stay with us appreciate the artistic character of the property and the peaceful setting. For travelers seeking daily hotel-style services or a more traditional layout, a hotel may indeed be a better fit. We do appreciate you staying with us and wish you the very best in your future travels.

INOUBLIABLE ET INCROYABLE !!!

Michael est un hôte charmant ,il est voisin de la maison qui est incroyable,décorée des nombreuses oeuvres d'art de Michael ,cette maison est sublime avec un extérieur à l'image de la maison , une très belle piscine et un jardin magnifiquement végétalisé entretenus chaque matin par Michael très tôt avant notre réveil... L'endroit est parfait pour visiter la région de Fort Lauderdale en passant par Miami,les keys ,les Everglades...C'est très calme et reposant avec une literie au top! Je vous recommande sans hésitation la maison de Michael,j'y reviendrais avec très grand plaisir,merci Michael pour ce magnifique séjour !!
