Semi Private cozy studio near downtown.

Location Location Location this large comfy basement studio apartment has every thing you need. Separate entrance, space for parking, private bathroom out side of room in common hallway. Walking distance from wholefood market, 24/7 quick check, Best bagel shop in town and all the downtown restaurants Montclair has to offer. 5 Minutes walking distance from New York bus stop. 10 min walking distance from walnut train station.

You have a private entrance, parking, private kitchenette, bathroom, right outside of the room and access to the entire basement unit. My wife and I live a vegan lifestyle, however you could bring in food and heat up in microwave.

Entire basement except laundry room. Also the access of your private bathrooms and kitchenette is from shared hallway.

My wife and I will be readily accessible to ensure your needs are met. We love good communication and while we will respect your privacy, will be available to answer any questions you may have.

About 40 Restaurants, several bars and theaters, and super easy NYC transit (Train and Bus) are all literally just a few min walk distance. The basement apt has a great open floor plan, a private entrance, private bathroom, amazing decor, parking and more.
Places to visit in Montclair NJ, Montclair art museum, Van Vleck house and gardens, Tierney's Tavern bar and live music and much more what downtown has to offer all at walking distance.

We make one parking spot available for the guest. Also Montclair has 5 train stations and direct bus to NYC.
Please no partying in the house including no loud music or noise. Please leave the place the way you found it, extra cleaning extra charges. Do not flush paper towels in the toilet. No smoking in the house or on the property. Please park your car in the back parking lot on spot 2, as Montclair don’t make fun in giving parking tickets. Enjoy your stay.
Also when you leave the apartment please switch off the A/C or Heater

Great location! Near so many restaurants and close access to everything! Also, my partner loved that it was a 15 minute drive to the house from The Sopranos and Holsten’s!

Space was very clean and well equipped. You must know going in that it’s only semi-private, you will have to go into a shared hallway to access the bathroom and kitchenette area. Staying over a weekend, it was a bit noisy from the laundry being done in the room right next to us. You can also occasionally hear the owners when they’re home, and at night there were several noises (possibly the furnace?) We typically sleep with ear plugs when we travel but it did wake me up both nights. So a few cons but overall, the listing is very accurate, the space is clean and comfortable, and you cannot beat the location. We had a great stay.

Great place!

We were visiting family In Montclair and to stay with them would be tight. This nice little place was nearby and gave us a space of our own to rest. It was just what we needed.

This studio apartment was perfect! My daughter and I stayed five days exploring New Jersey and NYC! Easy train access and walking distance to downtown Montclair! Our host was responsive and helpful - everything is as described in the listing.

It was a wonderful stay. We especially appreciated how clean the apartment was kept. The walkway on the entrance side was professionally done to ensure safe footing. The bagel shop was a nice plus.

Wonderful little spot

The space was simple, clean and well furnished. The shower was glorious after spending ten hours at a music festival. The mattress was like sleeping on a cloud. The hosts were super flexible and accommodating. You won’t find a more affordable or nicer spot.

Beautiful stay in montclair

The property was as described ... plenty of room , very clean and had all the amenties we needed. Received thorough checkin instructions. Conviently located next to grocery stores and food places and a lovely welcoming irish bar with great food. Mounckaur was beautiful with lovely friendly people

Nice spot in Montclair

You can tell the owner put some thought and care into the property. Good instructions on accessing stuff in the property - helpful signage where needed, etc. Great place as a homebase to explore the town or northern NJ area. Tierney's - a local Irish pub of historic note is a 2 minute walk. Enzo's pizza down the street has a good pie. I hope to stay there on future trips.

Accommodation was just right for the 2 nights. Close enough to restaurants and stores that we could walk. Small but cozy and had all we needed.

Fantastic stay, quiet and inviting VRBO

Great stay be careful of the steps

Excellent area near everything. Located Near the Van Vlek Mansion and Gardens. Very nice private room sleeps 2 with shower and kitchenette and laundry. Off street parking.will definitely stay again.

Great place in Montclair

Mainly just slept in this basement kitchenette. Place was clean and as advertised. Walked into town for a lovely breakfast. Also bagel place next door.

Weekend visiting son

This unit was clean and well kept in a nice neighborhood within a short driving distance of downtown Montclair and was perfect for our trip. The location was quiet and was next door to a bagel shop. I would definitely recommend this place.
