3BR/2BA Walk to Pier/Village Pup Friendly

This charming 1950s cottage is located 1/5th of a mile from the St. Simons Pier Village. An easy walk or bike ride to all SSI has to offer - wonderful dining options, shopping, outdoor entertainment and beach access (tide contingent). Within the Village, you’ll find the St. Simons Lighthouse, picnic areas, playgrounds, miniature golf and an oceanfront community pool. Massengale Park and Coast Guard Station offer additional public beach access with ample parking and beach at all tides. Both are located less than 2 miles away.

Walk through the front door into an open living area and now you are on ‘Island Time.’ The quaint, corner kitchen is well equipped with all of the comforts of home - dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and more.

Rest and relax after a fun day at the beach or exploring the Island. Guests will love the covered deck overlooking the spacious fenced in backyard. Perfect for grilling and hanging out!

Bedroom 3- 2 twin sized beds with ceiling fan and 32” TV w/roku.

Dog friendly with a non-refundable pet fee of $100. 2 dog max.

**We provide a starter supply of Toilet Paper, Hand Soap, Paper Towels, Dish Detergent, Laundry Detergent and One Trash Bag. (Any additional supplies needed during the stay will be the responsibility of the guest.)**

Note- There is an outdoor security camera facing the front yard/drive way.

Was a great property. Everything you want to do on the island is a nice walk or cart ride way. Our pup loved the fenced yard and we enjoyed sitting on the covered back deck with him. On our list for another stay.

Excellent Location. We loved that the house was full of light and had a nice outdoor deck. The kitchen was well stocked. It was also in a beautiful quiet neighborhood in walking distance to Pier Village. We had a great stay.

All was very good & as described. We really liked the convenient location to restaurants & shops. Our small dogs enjoyed running the fenced backyard. Morning coffee on the covered back porch was nice & calm. Internet/WiFi coverage was very good. We explored East Brach (the dogs loved running & chasing the birds. We especially liked Goulds Inlet. The only thing we didn’t anticipate was fleas in the yard - both dogs got covered in them the 1st day, (we treat them with monthly flea medicine & pay a pest service to treat our yard monthly, so we didn’t think of it - given SSI climate, we should have). We had to get some flea shampoo from a local shop & bathe them, so in a few days they will be good as ever.

We’re so sorry to hear about the fleas- that’s definitely not the experience we want for our guests or their pets (and ours for that matter as well!). Please know we had our pest control service come out and treat the front and back yard, and we’ll continue to stay on top of it. Great place

This was our first time in the area, we visited with our 13-year-old niece and little girls ages five and seven, we had a wonderful time, everything was as described, excellent, excellent location, huge backyard, very well appointed. Five stars for sure and we hope to stay there again.

Great house and location!

Great location for a little rest and relaxation with the family and dog. Close to both town and beach. The house was stocked with all the essentials and fenced in back yard to boot!

Saint Simons Island getaway

A very open, airy and comfortable property with a perfect yard for our dogs and an easy walk to the village. Lydia is an extremely responsive and accommodating host. This is our second stay here and we hope to be back!

Perfect Location

It was a really nice place...close to town, restaurants and the house was perfect for us and our dog, he loved the big yard and we loved the back porch , sitting back and relaxing, was a peaceful and quiet street, the host, she was wonderful!!

Wonderful visit!

Practical House in a Great Location

Great Cottage

Returning customers

We have stayed at this location for 3 years in a row, and each time, we have fully enjoyed the space. There is a wonderful fenced in yard for our pup, and the location is just a walk from downtown and a short drive to the beach. We plan on returning again next year!

Great location

Nice house , great location . With a 175.00 cleaning fee it would be nice to have more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom , more than one garbage bag in the kitchen , better soap in the shower and maybe ever as small bottle of shampoo .

Perfect weekend getaway!

We couldn’t say enough good things about our stay! Is is in a great location- walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and the pier! We golf carted to the beach during the day which was very convenient, only a 5 minute golf cart ride. The house was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and we enjoyed using the grill to cook out! We will definitely be back!

Frustrated

Lost power on third day of stay due to ice storm. No candles or batteries in home. Because of extend of power damage on island we left two days early.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The unprecedented winter storm did unfortunately knock out power for half of the island! Snow on SSI happens once every 30 years. I sincerely apologize for not having candles available in the home, though we do keep batteries on hand. I would have been more than happy to provide the lock code to access them.
