As your evening winds down, retreat to the Captain's Tower main suite with a private oceanfront balcony where you can watch the waves crash or unwind away from the world with the luxurious Jacuzzi offering private sunsets over the Pamlico Sound. The whole family will enjoy their stay in one of six beautiful bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and individual TV sets. Moon Palace features two main bedrooms and a range of restful sleeping options, including children's rooms. Find a nook to read ghost stories of local legends like the pirate Blackbeard after you visit the partial remains of a 19th-century shipwreck along the beach visible from the Captain's Tower. Catch the game or keep the children entertained with cable TV (Netflix and Amazon-enabled) and a pool table in the downstairs game room with a kitchenette. Outside on the ground level is an outdoor shower for after your swim.
A newly installed elevator provides access from the carport to each level of the house, including access to the kitchen for groceries and the top-level primary bedroom.
