A very well equipped apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was a lovely place to sit and eat. It was near to shops and restaurants. Easy access to bus tram and underground to get to the city. Very close to the beach. Florian was very quick to come back when we had one small problem which was sorted straight away. Would recommend and hope to stay there again.

Very clean and well appointed space. Close to everything including the beach about 10 minutes away. Wonderful patio area. Host provided a comprehensive guide to make the stay very special and was responsive to any questions. Great stay!

Brilliant stay

Stayed for 3 week and found the property to be excellent. It met our needs for both the city and beach. I would highly recommend both Florian and Hanna as hosts and Victoria as the local contact. Nothing was too much trouble

Wonderful house

Great new house for a couple. Wonderfully well equipped and a beautiful terrace. Easy tram ride to old city, subway and everything else. Easy walk to beach and local restaurants and grocery. Highly recommend.

It was almost perfect, the accommodation had everything we needed with the added luxury of bikes enabling exploration and adventure. The only downside was that the air conditioning failed and despite the owner’s efforts we were left in a sweltering house. We were offered a hotel but that was not the holiday we had wanted.

Dear Fergus, Thank you very much for your feedback. We are truly sorry that the air conditioning failure affected you during the hottest period of the year. The system is normally very reliable and handles all temperatures well. In the case of this specific defect, replacement parts had to be ordered, which made a quick repair impossible. In this situation, the only option left to us was to offer to cover the cost of a switch to a hotel. We hope that despite these inconveniences, you were still able to enjoy your holiday. Very nice house in nice neighbourhood

Warm professional welcome by Victoria. Good communication with host Florian, always stand by. Lovely house with court, good beds, fully equipped. Even a beach bag with beach towels is provided for, as well as coffee, tea, fruit, beers and wine. We felt at home

Las Casa Azul

A fabulous stay, everything as described and more! A real home from home allowing you the flexibility to stay as you wish! All facilities exceptional, handover easy with host advising of some great places to go in the local neighbourhood. An ideal base to explore with added bonus of the bikes!! Hosts easy to contact if necessary. I’m sure we will be back!!

Experience a local community

We enjoyed staying here as it gave us a chance to shop at the local mercado, try several excellent restaurants in walking distance, explore the community safely at night, walk to the beach and pedal to a few sights. The tram stop is just 5 mins away which we used to get to Pont de Fusta to walk around the old town. If you like a quiet retreat from the hustle of the touristy area, then this is an excellent location. You just have to be comfortable using the local transit ( which is fairly easy) to get to some of the main sights. Very clean with all the amenities you need!

Honestly incredible

Florians’ place is an absolute dream. There is nothing he hasn’t provided or thought of, it’s a home away from home. Victoria checked us in wonderfully, with lots of great tips for the area and help with navigating and both her and Florian were communicative and helpful the whole time. An absolute pleasure, we cannot speak highly enough of it and hope to return! Thank you so so much ❤️❤️🙏🏻

2nd time better than we remember

This was our second time staying here and it totally lived up to our memories. It is a comfortable and welcoming space, perfect for two people. The furnishings and kitchen supplies are well thought out. We appreciated that the knives had recently been sharpened! We enjoyed cooking meals in the great kitchen. The neighborhood is fun, close to the wonderful beach and to the great Cabanyl market. Center city Valencia is easily accessible by bus or tram.Florian is totally responsive to any questions or needs. He is the perfect host.

Amazing!

La Casa Azul is a dream and I really enjoyed staying there. It is super clean, only a short walk to the beach and to several supermarkets and the garden is beautiful. The bikes were the cherry on the cake: I biked around Valencia for the 2 weeks I stayed here. Florian is a great host: whenever I had a question I could contact him using WhatsApp and he would respond quickly (whether it was about the extra cleaning or booking a cab). Thanks again :)

Unique and beautiful house!

The house has so much character and the workmanship is wonderful. We really lacked for nothing and were extremely comfortable hanging out there. Florian was so easy to communicate with and takes such an interest in his visitors. He wants everything to be perfect and it shows. Christina greeted us and not only helped orient us to the house and neighborhood but was very helpful with questions and suggestions. We loved the outdoor shower! We forgot to bring notepaper and we couldn’t find any in the house so would suggest having it for your visitors to make notes and such

Really was a dream

This is a lovely house, well designed and extremely comfortable for two people. We especially loved the beautiful patio. The kitchen is well stocked. Florian and his colleagues took very good care of us, providing insider tips about the neighborhood and responding to inquiries quickly. The instructions he left were very helpful and easy to use. We loved the El Cabanyl area and also found it very easy to use the buses and tram to get to the center city. All in all it was a wonderful 3 weeks in this dream of a house.

Fabulous home in El Cabanyal

There are good reasons why this property gets rated 5 stars by many who visit here. We lived here for a month in March and it was fabulous. The property has been sympathetically refurbished by the owners - they’ve done a fantastic job. The bed is super comfy, the kitchen area has everything you will need to cook meals - even a rolling pin and pizza cutter which we used to make homemade pizzas, the shower and bathroom is a good size, the tv has loads of channels though we had brought our own firestick which worked perfectly, the outside area is so private with a barbecue area and seating, and best of all there are two bikes available for you to use (we did loads of cycling). Florian and Hannah are brilliant hosts, checking now and then to make sure everything was ok. We had fun exchanging texts in Spanish, German and English. Victoria met us at check-in and provided lots of advice on how to get around Valencia using public transport and places to visit and eat. There’s a book full of information in the house. Khadija came once a week to clean and refresh the linen and towels. We really enjoyed meeting and chatting in Spanish with Khadija. The property is in El Cabanyal which has a rich history itself - it is real Spain, not touristy at all. It’s only 10 mins walk to the beach, 13 mins walk to the local market where you can buy loads of fresh produce and a mere 100m to a fabulous bakers. There’s plenty options for public transport nearby. The buses in Valencia are brilliant and so cheap! (Buy a zuma10 card at the tabac). We were here in March so experienced the Fallas festival and the Semana Santa - lots of processions, fireworks, music and drums - so it was noisy at times when we were there but it didn’t bother us too much, all part and parcel of living in Valencia in March. So if you want to experience real Spain in a fabulous house, book La Casa Azul, you won’t regret it.

Gerne! Hier ist ein Beispiel für eine ausführliche und positive Bewertung eines Ferienhauses: Es war und ist einfach fantastisch! Die Lage ist unschlagbar – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral genug, um alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten schnell zu erreichen. Das Haus selbst ist sehr stilvoll und modern eingerichtet und unglaublich gemütlich. Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet, sodass wir problemlos selbst kochen konnten. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt – man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Komfort gelegt wird. Auch der Innenhof war ein Highlight: groß, gut gepflegt in dem wir viele laue Abende verbracht haben. Fahrräder und das WLAN und alle weiteren Annehmlichkeiten funktionierten tadellos. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt war der unkomplizierte und super freundliche Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt.

Todo perfecto

Wir haben wundervolle Tage in dem schönen Casa Azul verbracht. Es bleiben keine Wünsche über. Wir haben uns mehr als sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Begrüßung und Einweisung war dank Victoria hervorragend. Die Betreuung durch Hannah und Florian war 1A. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. V&B

An Oasis in Cabanyal

My wife and myself couldn’t have chosen a better base for our 5 days in Valencia. The house, in the area of Cabanyal, is ideally located on a quiet street, yet within short walking distance of the metro/tram, the beach, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The house is a lovely mixture of modern and traditional, extremely well equipped and was spotlessly clean. We were so thankful for air conditioning which provided much needed respite from the searing heat, while the courtyard was a lovely spot to sit with a glass of wine as the sun went down. Florian was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We are particularly grateful to him for booking taxis from and to the airport, and for making a restaurant reservation on our behalf. He reacted immediately when we contacted him about an issue with Wi-Fi, which was speedily fixed - he was so apologetic, but it was no big deal for us as these things happen! Victoria looks after the house for Florian and she greeted us when we first arrived. She took the time to tell us what we needed to know about the house, and then showed us on a map the locations of various places of interest, restaurants etc. Victoria was a mine of information, made some really helpful suggestions and is an absolute gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Valencia and look forward to visiting again. We will definitely stay in this lovely house when we return, and we have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Thank you Florian and Victoria for helping make our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Pete & Chris
