Terrific Retreat: a cozy, central flat steps from everything!
Peering out over Carlo Emanuele square, our flat is the perfect base for exploring Turin or for engagements in study or work. Immerse yourself in culture, food, and entertainment right at your doorstep. This historic apartment, nestled in the former Jewish ghetto, features wooden ceilings and carefully selected furnishings that create a cosy, inviting atmosphere!
As you step through the small entrance, you are welcomed into a wide and comfortable living room with kitchen area. The flat offers two distinct sleeping quarters, each equipped with a double bedroom and bathroom. And, of course, abundant storage space and a host of conveniences are provided to ensure your comfort.
In 2022, we fully renovated the suite with an emphasis on energy efficiency: smart thermostatic valves, state-of-the-art heat pump air conditioning, low-energy appliances, full LED lighting, and triple-glazed wooden window frames. We've also chosen environmentally friendly materials throughout: water-based paints and coatings, and flooring made from wood or water-based resin. We prioritised hygiene, too, with suspended sanitary fittings and an air conditioning system that features an anti-Covid measure. The exterior facades of the building were also refreshed in November-December 2022.

We are Enrico and Elena, an enthusiastic couple in our fifties with two adult children, Marco and Claudia. We are currently living in Torino, not too far from the Carlina House. As Italians with a deep passion for travel, art, and nature, we've built fulfilling careers that align with our interests. Enrico, an architect, and Elena, an antique dealer, we've crafted a lifestyle that blends our love for the aesthetically pleasing with our fervour for exploration and discovery.

You're not just stepping into an apartment, but into a slice of history. This is the Jewish Ghetto of Turin, established in 1679 by the directive of the regent, Maria Giovanna Battista of Nemours. It has the distinction of being the first of its kind to be built in Piedmont. The coffered ceilings of our house, while slightly low, will give you a comforting sense of protection. The ambience of the tastefully furnished apartment combined with the noise-proof windows offers a serene setting for work, rest, and leisure time undisturbed.
