Experience the quintessential southern beach lifestyle at this 6BR/3BA cottage located just steps from the ocean. Originally built in 1955, this two-story home boasts 2,958 square-feet of living space with original hardwood floors, two separate staircases, and antique furnishings.


Surrounded by lush landscape, the family and dog-friendly property features incredible outdoor living space with a charming wraparound porch, al fresco dining, and a hammock. A prime location just minutes to shops, local culinary gems, and nearby attractions including the SkyWheel.


LIVING AREA


Sprawl out on the comfortable sofa and watch shows on the 48” flat screen TV with cable. Two additional armchairs offer a relaxing seat next to the decorative fireplace. An adjacent living area offers extra space to unwind for family game night with two sofas and three plush armchairs.


KITCHEN & DINING


The recently renovated and well-equipped kitchen boasts upgraded appliances and plenty of cabinet storage. Sip morning coffee at the six-person dining table or gather in the formal dining area and share a family feast meals at a table set for eight.


BED & BATH


This home includes six bedrooms that sleep 15 total, perfect for a large family traveling together. Three full bathrooms (two on the main floor and one upstairs) are each stocked with a complimentary supply of bath amenities.


The main-level master bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed, ceiling fan, and en-suite bath with tub/shower combination. The remaining bedrooms are located upstairs. The second bedroom has a queen bed, desk, ceiling fan, and closet for storage. The second bath has a tub/shower combination.


The third bedroom boasts two twin beds, a ceiling fan, and direct access to the fourth bedroom with a queen-size bed and armchair. The fifth bedroom includes a double bed, twin bed, desk, ceiling fan, and a closet. The sixth bedroom features two full beds, a desk, and ceiling fan. The third bath provides a tub/shower combination.


OUTDOOR AREA


Spend leisurely afternoons on the wraparound porch with expansive ocean views. The covered outdoor space is fitted with eight wood rocking chairs, a rope hammock, and al fresco dining for five.


EXTRA AMENITIES


The mudroom has two outdoor showers and beach gear including chairs, toys, and boogie boards are available for guest use. Parking is available for two vehicles in the driveway. A washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided.

The property was very charming, the front porch and proximity to the beach is a definite plus. There is also a nice flat yard if you are bringing pets.The bathrooms are small and slightly dated, but functional. One drawback of the property is that the public beach access is located right next to the property, so it can be loud and congested. The house also only had two beach chairs ( which are actually lawn chairs) and only one is useable.We would have rated this property higher as the real problem was Vacasa, which is the management company. We had multiple issues from leaks, to broken windows, and a front door lock system that did not work the last two days of our stay. We reported every issue and were told by Vacasa that someone would call or show up to address them. No one ever did. I called and asked to speak to management about these issues - twice. Twice my name was taken and I was told someone would contact me. We are now two weeks past the end of our stay and we still have not received a single call.Things go wrong, which is understandable; however the level of guest service that Vacasa provided is unacceptable.I would not recommend using them.

The house is nice and the beach view is perfect and the beds are very comfortable.But I'm not sure if its the owner of the property that live in the back of the house it was just strange we felt watched the whole time other that than the stay was good.

Old fashioned knotty pine paneled oceanfront beach house with the perfect porch including 6 rocking chairs and a hammock. No hotels close by so beach not crowded. The porch was our favorite spot when not on the beach up until bedtime. Updated kitchen great for preparing your meals. Plenty of flatware, dishes and glassware for your crowd. Great sectional for lounging if you give up your rocker. If you’re planning on doing much cooking take a sharp knife and bakeware to accommodate your recipes. We hope to return.

We loved this home and the location can’t be beat. It’s a relatively quiet spot with a prime beach location always available. There is plenty of space in the home which easily accommodated our family of 14. The porch was a highlight of the home. Always a great place to view the ocean. We would not hesitate to book this home in the future.

Great location, Amazing view

This house was perfect for our family of 7 with grandparents. The downstairs bedroom was great for them and the rest of us used the bedrooms upstairs. The house gave us plenty of room to spread out and the big table allowed us to have family dinners and play games at night. The home is older, but it was still cozy. And the rockers and hammock on the porch were definitely used everyday! The location of the house can't be beat. Yes, it is connected to the public beach access, but it still wasn't busy during the day. The section of Myrtle Beach that this house is located in was also never real busy. The road in front of the house never had traffic and the main Hwy 17 road was never busy in this area either. It was about a mile of nothing but residential homes, so it was quite and calm. We had an ant issue the second day we were there, but the owners were quick to take care of it as well as helping us figure out how to connect to the wifi since it wasn't working when we first got there. This is definitely somewhere we would stay again. We were already trying to figure out when we could come back while we were down there!

The view is a saving grace

The location of this house and the view from the porch makes it worth it. We had several issues with the appliances and one of the bathrooms. I honestly think some upgrades in the house would make it an absolutely amazing place to stay!

Right on the beach!

The house is literally sitting right on the beach. We loved the home. Even though it was a large house, it was super cozy. The front porch is awesome, and it has a brand new renovated kitchen that was well stocked. We would definitely recommend. We are planning to book it again for next year.

Beach house

Wonderful home! Clean and perfect location! Would love to stay again! Plenty of room for everyone. The home had everything we needed and plenty of beach toys and chairs. Loved sitting in the rocking chairs and seeing the ocean view. Thanks!

Location Can’t Be Beat

Front porch walks out onto the beach, quick walk to many dining options and a short drive to endless golf courses. Older beach home with its perks and drawbacks. Was great for the guys annual golf trip, but not the most modern place if amenities are your priority.

Great location, house could use some work.

This property worked out well for our long golf weekend. Porch was a great space but the light outside kept flickering off and on. Ended up moving an inside lamp to a window to illuminate the outside. Inside was cozy and reminiscent of a hunting lodge. If you're looking for modern this is not for you. House was clean but outdated as you can probably see from pictures. One of the bathroom doors was falling apart but it didn't ruin our stay. Indoor space was plentiful for a group hang after a long day on the course. Kitchen needs additional pots and pans. Being on the water, the indoor great room, and the porch is what makes this house.

Loved it

Our family loved it so much. Even though its an older home its well kept up and its like home away from home. Its very spacious and nice. We had a really good time and would recommend to everyone.

Great location

Great and convenient location on the beach for a comfortable family get away. Bathrooms and shower areas need refurbished. Beds and rooms are ok. Outdoor rockers are great. Adjacent to public access so it stays noisy into the night.
