Jeff’s place was a nice place to stay for the week. The pool is beautiful, though quite deep if traveling with young children. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed, except for a microwave. The bed and pillows (in the primary bedroom) were very comfortable, and the view is incredible. Jeff was responsive when we reached out with questions after booking.The main issue was that the hot water in the primary bathroom was not working. We notified the property managers, who said they would take a look, but no one came out to fix it during our stay. We had to use the lower-level bathroom instead.There was no house manual or guide with basic information or how to operate the oven, washer, and dryer (which are different from those in the U.S.). This would have been very helpful. Check-in itself was ok. The community, Coral Estates, is fantastic. It is very secure and very safe. Ultimately we would stay again and appreciate that Jeff has shared his home for others to enjoy.

Our stay was spectacular! The view both during the day and at sunset could not be beat. Absolutely beautiful. Communication with Jeff was fantastic and he was very accommodating! Thank you Jeff. Hilde was a wonderful host and was very welcoming. We enjoyed every detail of this beautiful rental and had a magical family Christmas there. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy it again!

Our family had a blast at this house. We were a family of six adults, and the house was perfect for us. It was spacious and allowed everyone privacy, and the amazing deck with the pool allowed us all to chill out with an icy beverage after snorkeling in the ocean all day on the beautiful beach that was a short walk away. Loved being able to leave the doors/windows open all day to feel the cross winds and watch the birds. We did visit other beaches while we were there. Going snorkeling at Tugboat Beach is a must, but none of the other beaches compared to ours. Fantastic spot, great communication, clean and safe. Highly recommend!

Excellent location for our needs

The villa is really a beautiful place, and in a gated community, so very safe. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean to start our days, and watching sunsets over the ocean from the pool to end them, truly beautiful. The property managers (Gerrit and Hilde) were very friendly, and the location was just a few minute drive from many of the best beaches for swimming and snorkeling. We did have a few issues with the villa, which is the only reason for not giving a 5 star rating. However, when we messaged the owner (Jeff) he was very quick to respond and very understanding. He assured us he will be addressing the issues promptly. Once these items are addressed, this villa will be an absolute gem! And, totally worthy of 5 stars.

Great villa

Exactly as it said on the website, Hilde was very friendly and was fast to answering us when we had any questions. The only thing is we were missing water once in a while for 10-30 minutes, otherwise, it was perfect.

Fabulous property

We will absolutely stay in this home again on any future visits to the island. It had an amazing view (better than can be captured in the photos!). Pool was refreshing after hot days of exploring the island and was kept exceptionally clean. We absolutely loved the home and found all amenities that we needed at our fingertips. Home is clean and well maintained. We were traveling with our teen children and the home had space for everyone to have both family time together and some chill time by themselves. Have nothing but rave reviews for the personalized walk thru that the property manager greeted us with when we arrived and she was readily available for any questions we had through out our stay. We also took advantage of the proximity of the resort and the ability to use the beach and restaurants nearby. Loved our stay- THANK YOU!

Love this property!

Second year in a row staying with this host and the house is amazing! Stunning and wonderful accommodations. The house is very clean and stocked with everything you will need except food. The manager, Gerrit met us when we got to the house and showed us around. The pool and views are the best! Only one complaint: the house could be better with some small handyman-type maintenance. The doors that open the living room to the patio were very sticky, but a little WD-40 would go along way. There were ants all over the kitchen. We had to put just about everything in the refrigerator to keep it safe from ants and birds. Also, the pool light was coming out of its housing and hanging by the wires. I texted the house manager about the light and asked for pillow cases for the pillows in the wardrobe. I was told he would bring the pillow cases and he never did. All said, I would 100% stay with this host again!

Very pleasant villa with sea view

Very good location to visit the island, placed in a good subdivivion with not too many tourists, very quiet. Sea view from the three terraces and of course from the swimming pool. Barbecue available. Beautiful nearby beaches.

Beautiful Sunsets

My sister and I spent a week at Jeff's villa overlooking the Caribbean. Every night we were enchanted by the dazzling sunset. We will miss that the most! The villa was super clean, equipped with all the essentials: coffee maker, blender, beach chairs, beach cooler, beach towels, etc. We never sat in the living room as the veranda was where we spent the entire week when we were home. Hilde and Gerrit (the property managers) are super nice and gave us a lot of information about the island). Coral Estate is a great location to do day trips to and we recommend this villa for your stay in Caracao. We hope to return with our husbands!

Amazing stay!!!

We were a group of 6 adults (3 couples) who found everything about this lovely home perfect for our needs. As others have said, the view is incredible. Sitting with a coffee in the morning watching the ocean sparkle was a highlight as were the evening sunsets. The home itself was well laid out and beautifully decorated in bright colours and tropical art. It had everything we needed with lots of linens and towels and the kitchen was well stocked. The AC in the bedrooms worked great and we had a lovely breeze in the evenings on the patio. Jeff was very quick to respond to all questions and Hilde and Gerrit who take care of the property on site were lovely and also quick to respond. We enjoyed dinner at the resort a few nights as well as the beach bar one morning. We would highly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of Willemstad. We did rent a car and drive to some of the beautiful beaches in the area as well as Willemstad for some dinners. We enjoyed being able to visit the busy areas, but then have a peaceful place to come back to at the end of the day. Overall a really great stay!

Great Vacation

Nice location, nice house. View is magnificent! We enjoyed our stay and will be back to the island. Experienced a few maintenance issues at the house during the week. The owner addressed our concerns quickly and appropriately. Thanks Jeff!

Great house in nice location

The good: This home has an amazing view from the main patio and pool with glorious daily sunsets. The house is good for groups: the three main bedrooms each have their own bathroom, view, and AC. The bunk bed room was next to a toilet (no sink). The location is about 15 minutes off the main road but is close to some excellent beaches and was convenient to drive to the Westpunt beaches as well as a reasonable drive to Willemstad. The host was very responsive and answered queries almost immediately (oddly there was no house manual with info and instructions so I feel like I asked more questions than usual). A few caveats: The ladder was not secured to the bunk bed so should not be used for children unless that is fixed. A few minor requests were accommodated graciously, however an inconvenient plumbing problem could not be fixed during our stay. There were some unexpected resort-wide water outages that I wish we had been warned were possible, but perhaps that is just Curaçao. Overall we really enjoyed our stay: the house is comfortable and well-equipped, and communication with the host was excellent.
