The VIP dinner at the Villa was fantastic for all! We had 3 Adult kids with us and they raved about it. The restaurant selections recommended by our hosts were spot on! Great food! We cooked breakfast most mornings, did lunch when we were out to Moorea, and dinner out mostly: Blue Banana, Le petite Bohème, Le Grillardon. We went out on the water with “JC Carlier” and did skimming under the water behind the boat ! Great fun! Saw the marina and snorkeled, went to the beach, adventure park, and some hiking, great weather, (rained 1/2 day x2 in 12 days!) Don’t forget to buy bug spray ! Great vacation!

We had a fabulous stay for the Christmas holidays. The house is large, very comfortable, and well-appointed. Thierry and Ondine go out of their way to make sure that everything goes well and that you enjoy your stay. The pool is beautiful and the view is magnificent! Having use of the car was a wonderful bonus and very necessary, since the house is located on top of a large hill. There is a nice grocery store, bakery, and several nice restaurants a short drive away. All in all, we would highly recommend Thierry and Ondine’s place if you’re looking for a magical stay in Tahiti!

Amazing Views

Had a great time at this lovely home. Hosts were so accommodating. Had weekly cleaning service for the home and pool. The views were amazing. This is a definite must rent home when in Tahiti!

With so many reviews praising properties on VRBO, it's hard to laud those special places that rise above the rest. This is one of those unique houses, both due to its location and to the incredible hospitality of its owner. Every day we were mesmerized by the changing views and colors overlooking nearby Moorea. It's like living in the glossiest travel brochure or website photos. The infinity pool fits beautifully with the views from the house, or one can simply find a spot to sit on the long terrace facing Moorea. The downside -- it's so hard to read that book you brought when the vista grabs you if you raise your eyes.Besides the well-equipped kitchen and multiple dining areas, the house has plenty of space for multiple guests to enjoy. Varied lighting highlights the premises after dark and is readily adjusted from a convenient panel near the kitchen. By design the house stretches along the mountainside high above Punaauia.From first contact, host Thierry responds quickly to any questions and offers an immense array of information. Any small problems are fixed immediately. After 12 years on Tahiti, he has access to all kinds of vendors and speaks knowledgeably about almost any activity or place on the island. When one of our party sustained an abrasion that began to appear infected, whisking us to his personal physician and the pharmacy, giving 4 hours of his time to ensure the safety and satisfaction of his guests. He is indeed an exceptional host

Our stay at Villa Paradise Tahiti was exceptional. The house is spacious, spotless, and perfectly designed to showcase views that truly exceeded our expectations. The views of Moorea and sunsets were unforgettable.Thierry is an extraordinary host. He met us at the airport despite our very late arrival, and when I realized halfway to the villa that I’d left my phone inside airport security, he patiently turned around without hesitation. Once we arrived, Ondine welcomed us warmly. Thierry gave us a thorough tour of the house and then showed us the car available for our use. The arrangement—airport pickup, a car for exploring the island (including a ferry trip to Moorea), and drop‑off at our cruise ship—made everything effortless.A highlight of our stay was the dinner prepared by Ondine and hosted by Thierry. Every dish was fresh and delicious, and the vegetarian options were especially appreciated. The ambiance was perfect, and starting the evening with Thierry’s locally crafted rum was a wonderful surprise.The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the bathrooms—especially the primary—felt spa‑like and beautifully designed.To top it all off, after our cruise ended, Thierry personally met us to return an AirPod and charger we had accidentally left behind. That level of care is rare!Villa Paradise Tahiti truly lives up to its name. Between the beautiful home, the breathtaking views, and the exceptional hospitality, our stay was unforgettable!

Tahiti homebase ..

The ideal location to explore Tahiti in style: spacious and well-appointed villa accommodates family of many sizes in a local, refined Polynesian setting, and leaves simply nothing to be desired. Forever views of ocean, Moorea and the reefs are truly one-of-a-kind. Short drive to some of Tahiti's best beaches for playing and snorkeling. Short drive to Papeete to connect with local culture, for shopping and entertainment. Nevertheless, it was hosts Thierry and Ondine that made the trip stand out: they are your informed and friendly interface to all things local, and could not have been warmer, more welcoming or accommodating to our family throughout our 2-week stay. Ondine is a world-class chef, her Polynesian dinners prepared in-house were wonderful. We came as guests and left as friends; thanks Thierry and Ondine !

And......OMG! The view!

I can't say enough great things about Thierry and Ondine, the hosts of this property! After a 12 hour delay and then a cancellation of our original flight, Thierry was still at the airport with a smile on his face to greet us with flower leis! Once we were guided to the house (near the top of a winding road) we couldn't believe the view we were going to be enjoying for our two week trip! It was breathtaking! On one side you can see a view of not only Mo'orea, but also the coral reef that encircles the island down below. On the side, you could look over the valley and see a beautiful waterfall in the distance. After a few days of getting our bearings, we were treated to some scrumptious meals by Ondine and a particularly tasty Pina Colada from scratch! Tahiti and the house was wonderful. Get out and explore....and by all means take a trip over to Mo'orea. We found a snorkel tour in a glass bottom boat......with a delicious meal cooked and prepared on a sandbar....at one point the waves came in and washed over our feet while we were eating! Fun! Thank you for opening up your home Thierry and Ondine! Love you guys! When are we going to Africa? :-) Mark and Stacey

Breathtaking experience that should not be missed!

This property has stunningly gorgeous views with a pool where you can relax and take in the sunset or view of Moorea. The house is spacious; we had our two children and my wife’s parents. We had space to eat our meals together and hang out, as well as space for quiet time to ourselves away from each other. The layout of the living room(s) dining room(s) and kitchen are open concept as well as being open to the pool via large doors that let in beautiful afternoon light. I do not believe it is incredibly dangerous in Tahiti but if that is a concern for you the neighborhood is gated and the house well secured as well with gates and two friendly German Shepard dogs. The host is incredible. Thierry responds quickly and is so helpful and accommodating. He met us at the house to welcome us and wish my wife a happy birthday (we were celebrating) with a bottle of champagne. We did not take advantage of the offer to have his chef wife prepare meals for us, but that is certainly something we will consider for next time! The location is great for views and the best beaches. Also easy to get to grocery stores. We were able to explore te entire island from this location. We highly recommend Thierry and his beautiful home. If we plan another trip to Tahiti we will stay here. A few things to note: There are 15-16 switch backs to get up to the house. That was not a problem for my father-law’s rental car, but ours was a little older and chugged a bit to make it up. Since it is Tahiti the house is very open to the elements and therefore there is an element of living outdoors which we love but realize some may not feel as comfortable with evening geckos chatting to you. We began to look forward to the evening time when the little guys came out all on the ceiling where they generally stay. We never found these little guys in the bedrooms. Cleanliness, we gave only three stars and that is only for the bathroom and kitchen area that were not as clean as we would have liked.

This home was better than the pictures. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit the listing and reviews pretty accurately. The host offered to pick us up from the ferry which was nice. I chose to rent a car because it worked best for our situation but they have a car available which is nice since the house is a bit remote. They had beach towels and some beach toys available to borrow. The pool was heated and kept at a pleasant temperature for swimming. I would defiantly recommend this place to friends and family. You will not be disappointed.
