Our studio condo is the perfect base for excursions in any direction—or simply soaking up the serenity and enjoying all the amenities at your disposal. Hiking, skiing, horseback riding, paddle boarding—you dream it, and the mountains provide it!
Purgatory Resort is just two minutes away, offering year-round activities including skiing, tubing, an alpine slide, scenic ski lifts, and more. Head north for a day trip to Silverton and take in the breathtaking views along the spectacular San Juan Scenic Byway.
If you decide to venture out from the “Bear Cave” and explore the Durango area, you'll find attractions like the Narrow Gauge Railroad, river rafting, ziplining, and historic downtown—just to name a few. Or simply relax and enjoy the many amenities the resort has to offer, including an indoor pool, onsite restaurant, dry saunas, arcade game room, hiking trails, and fishing spots.
There’s more adventure to be found in the San Juans than can be experienced in just one trip. Let the exploring begin!

Hi! I’m Kate, and I’m so happy to share our cozy mountain getaway with you. My husband and I live nearby with our two young boys, and we spend a lot of time exploring the outdoors, hiking, and soaking in the peaceful mountain air.
We created this space as a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and make lasting memories—and we truly love being able to share that experience with others.
