Owner managed. "The Lodge at Raccoon Hollow" features stunning views for all seasons of Great Smoky Mountain National Park! Located just a short drive from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, this deluxe, upscale log cabin offers a mountain getaway with a cozy atmosphere that will offer you all the comforts of home -- and much more! The cabin is generously outfitted for a short weekend or an extended weekly stay. It's the perfect space for a weekend with friends, a family vacation, or a romantic getaway. Treat your families and friends to a little indulgence with the completely updated furnishings, new flooring, and expanded game room with an assortment of board games, pool table, and foosball table.

Take a step out onto one of the decks to take in the majestic views. The covered porch on the upper deck offers breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains at all times of the day and every season! Relax with a cup of coffee or a good book in the variety of rocking chairs, the bench swing or hammock. Whether you are firing up the gas grill and enjoying a meal outside on the picnic table, unwinding in the hot tub after an adventurous day or telling tall tales by the fire pit in the evenings surrounded by loved ones, The Lodge offers a place for you to create your next memorable moments!

Layout:

Main level: Dining room, fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, living room with updated queen sleeper sofa and Flat Panel TV, half bathroom, and one Master bedroom. The Master bedroom includes a king bed and a large bathroom w/ double vanity, jacuzzi tub and stand up shower.

Upper Level: an additional Master bedroom - King bed, full bathroom w/ jacuzzi tub and stand up shower. This level also includes an open loft/sitting area for quiet reading, chatting or relaxing while overlooking the main level.

Lower Level: Two additional bedrooms: 1) King bed and jacuzzi tub/shower combo 2) Queen bed with a full bathroom just outside the room. Each bathroom has a hair dryer.

Game Room: Full sleeper sofa, full-sized pool table, pub table with chairs for playing poker or board games, 55" wall-mounted TV with Blu-ray DVD player, full-sized washer and dryer. This also provides access to the hot tub and wrap-around deck.

Relaxing and Scenic

The location was great, the cabin was a perfect size for our two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The deck with the rocking chairs and fire fit overlooking the mountains was amazing! The kids loved the game room and hot tub.

Very beautiful view and cabin very nice and spacious!

We had a hiccup up first night with hot tub and water but owner handled it quickly. We loved the cabin overall with lots of space and beautiful view! We would book again in future.

The best Experience

This was EASILY the nicest cabin I have ever stayed in. The view was gorgeous. The property itself was gorgeous and well taken care of. They had plenty of items in the house to make everyone comfortable. I will be booking this again in the future!

Perfect for us!

We had a great stay, we were hoping to see bears but oh well! Cannot control nature! Our family had a great easter vacation. Its 20 min to most of the hubbub, which was nice!

Best place to stay.

Beautiful view, clean, felt like home! The owner was great, easy to reach. We saw the bear a few times. Best game room, and best stocked kitchen I’ve ever had. 12 of us stayed very comfortably. I would definitely return!

We will definitely be back!

We came up for a weekend trip for our niece and nephew’s birthdays and had a great time! Todd checked on us everyday of our stay to make sure everything was working and if we needed anything. Words can’t express how beautiful the views are from this cabin! Off the beaten path but within close proximity of town. The cabin is very clean and cozy and has everything you need for your stay. We will definitely be back!

Amazing home

We had two families share this house with plenary of room for everyone to spread out. The house was very clean and beautiful. We even had a black bear walk across the deck. The kids loved it! Very well furnished house also. We’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful views!!

Had a great vacation. Had everything we needed. Had a bear at the cabin. Unfortunately we didn't see it. The neighbors seen it around the Jeep and watched it. I had one question upon arrival and owner responded quickly.

Nice stay

We had a nice time in this cabin. It was decorated nicely for Christmas, and the view was spectacular. Since we were out all day each day of our vacation, we always arrived at the cabin at night. Getting there at night was an adventure because of the steep, curvy, VERY dark roads, but became easier each night. The cabin itself was beautiful, and was a great place to spend a week. Just be aware that the cabin might get some visitors from nature! Overall, we had a great time.

Beautiful view

Overall a great property. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. Location was great. Decor was nice. Could have used a few more rocking chairs on the porch…bench is cute but not comfortable. Loved the cute little fire pit and the hot tub. Water pressure is not great in the upstairs bathroom and kitchen, but not a big deal. Cleanliness was ok but there was dust and wrappers from food under the furniture and behind the beds. Not a huge problem but worth a mention. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Owner was very nice and accommodating.

Mountain Retreat

Its hard to summarize all the amazing things about our stay and this property because I could go on & on about how awesome our experience was. First let me say our family travels a lot (ages 1 to 80) so we have high expectations. This property didn't disappoint from the breathtaking views to the immaculate interior. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook with, etc. Beds were fairly comfortable (nothing is ever as comfy as home), everything was clean, & plenty of space for everyone. We were fortunate to see bears almost every evening. One fella even came up on the porch to see what I was grilling. The property is alittle distance from the center of things but the drive is scenic and its only 15 mins tops to the Smokey National Park (close to The Sinks) Most things can be reached in less than 40 mins. Lastly, the communication with Todd was the BEST I've ever had with a property owner. He went above & beyond to be sure our stay was perfect. He had great recommendations and is VERY responsive!! Did I mention the views??? Seriously you wont be disappointed.

"Peace and Quiet" mom retreat

Excellent experience. We have rented dozens of cabins in the past for retreats similar to this one. Lodge at the Racoon Hollow was by far the best stocked cabin we have stayed yet. Full stocked kitchen with any pot/pan, utensils, and stemware your heart desires. Variety of updated board games. Plenty of blankets ( we only had a group of 6) and towels. Clean and hot Hottub. New grill. Brand new washer and dryer. The only complaint we could think of would be lack of propane, but the owner miraculously fixed our predicament. We were eager to come up to the Smokies to see the snow, but didn't realize it would be impossible for us to go up and down very curvy, very steep roads without a 4 wheel drive. We got snowed in for a day. And then, we realized we were out of gas, with steaks in the fridge and no way to grill them. But the owners contacted the neighbors to allow up to swap our tanks with them. They answered all our texts promptly before and during our stay. 5 stars for being available and helpful. Also would like to mention that cabin was clean. Lots of seating inside and outside. Rocking chairs and hammock were our favorite!! We didn't go shopping or eating out, but there is lots to do in the area. The purpose of out trip was to spend time together, slow down, and reconnect. We sat by the fire pit outside, watched sunrise from the deck, played a lot of cards, cooked, went for a walk in the neighborhood. ( it's just a big circle and takes about 30 minutes to walk the whole length of it). Everything looked magical covered in snow. Overall it was an amazing vacation and we would greatly recommend staying at the lodge!

Family trip

We had six adults including my 83 year old MIL who has mobility issues and can't easily climb stairs. We gave them the master bedroom on the main floor and it was perfect. We all enjoyed the views from the porch watching the sunrise and the fire table at night. It was about a 20-30 minute drive to whatever we were doing, but the views made it worth it!

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

This is a beautiful cabin with wonderful views. The owners had great communication and ensured our stay had everything we needed. We had four couples and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table in the game area during our stay.

Wonderful accommodations

We had an amazing trip to the Smoky Mountains! This cabin was well appointed and comfortable, very clean and has beautiful views! Beds were comfy too! I highly recommend staying here! We didn't see any bears sadly as others have reported. The people staying across the street did though. Maybe next time. Thank you Todd for all the communication and tips on things to do in the area!

Wonderful Views Easy Process

The views from the cabin were wonderful. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy and helpful. The place clean and was exactly what we expected. If we return to the area we will look to stay here again.

Excellent long weekend

We loved our weekend at the cabin. The views were incredible, and we enjoyed our time on the porches. It was also nice to have so many bathroom; it made it easy for us all to get ready in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Birthday celebration of 2 family members.

We enjoyed the beautiful views, the warm fire pit to sit by as the sun came up and at sundown. The well stocked kitchen provided ease in preparing meals. The furnishings and decor were very high quality and added warmth and hospitality to each room in the lovely cabin. The hot tub was a welcome relief after a day of hiking. The large dining table accommodated our family of 9 at meals and for playing games. The owner was quick to respond to our every question and need.

We chose this neighborhood for its proximity to the Smoky Mountain National Park and for its amazing views at the cabin! We both love to hike and have spent years coming to the Smokies! While we prefer to be on the trail or in the National Park, we also love the incredible variety that the area has to offer! We are just a few minutes from Wears Valley and about 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Townsend. It thrills us that we get to share our cabin with so many guests that visit and find it extremely rewarding to hear of the many things that our guests enjoy about the area!

Dana and I are an open book and always happy yo answer any questions about the area that you might have. Please reach out and ask and we will do our best to help in any way we can. :)

There are so many things that we think are unique to the cabin! We have been fortunate to graciously receive kids reviews from many of our guests. Please take the time to read some of them as that might best explain what is great about the cabin. :)
We also would like that our property is unique because...
1) The views from the cabin are stellar.
2) Wonderful cooking facilities.
3) Year round private hot tub.
4) Seasonal Pool Access.
5) Access to The Great Smokies National Park is just a 10 minute drive.
6) The Foothills Parkway is one of the best and is can be accessed in 5 minutes!
7) Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Townsend are all within 30 minutes and offer amazing tourist variety!
8) There is TONS and TONS to DO and SEE!! Enjoy your time there!
