Coastal View II is a three-story, designer-detailed property with all sorts of at-home entertainment - a private, in-ground swimming pool, fantastic deck and patio space, and a pool table for your nightly family tournaments. Step inside to find hardwood floors, granite countertops, Monroe kitchen appliances, recessed lighting, and a dining table that's large enough for everyone to share meals together. There are two family rooms for your enjoyment - one geared towards the kids with a wraparound sofa and an assortment of games, and another for the adults located located right off the kitchen on the third floor. On the ground floor, you'll find a pool table and a tropical indoor bar with a refrigerator and a microwave. Upstairs, large decks extend from both the second and third floors. Additional amenities include peek-a-boo views of the ocean, a large patio around the pool for shade and relaxation, 14 smart TVs, free WiFi, a home elevator, and a gas grill.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Love the property had great a time. Elevator was a bonus. Short walk to Beach. We didn't check in and forgot to check out until we were almost home

Nice space but cleanliness needs to be addressed

This is the second time in three years we have rented this house. We enjoyed the spaciousness, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the extra refrigerator and sink near the pool, proximity to the beach and the elevator. The cleanliness and spotty WiFi were issues both years.

Family reunion perfect place

We loved the size of the rooms and bathrooms, and the fact that 6 of the 8 bedrooms had their own bathrooms. We liked how only 2 of the rooms shared a common wall, which made them very quiet and peaceful. We all slept so well in this house, the comfy mattresses and the quiet really helped! We also liked having two living rooms so that the noisier siblings could be in one and the quieter group could be in another. We had no children for this reunion, but I would think two living rooms would be equally beneficial. Highly recommend Coastal View II

Perfect reunion

This house was perfect to host a family reunion. They had a great variety of beds and baths for each family and kids. The house is well loved. The kitchen had pots and pans, plates and bowls but there were some missing utensils like forks. The bathrooms are clean but you can see the algae in the shower creases. For those that are sensitive to the heat or cold, i would be mindful of the rooms you pick as some gets colder than other.

Good stay

Location is great. House is big and can accommodate a large group. Kitchen was not clean. There were no forks and few cups. All remedied by trip to Walmart. Bunk beds are a little shaky. The week was fun overall and the pool was great. It was well used and a highlight. We had a good time. So this is a mixed review. It was not perfect but it let us have some good family time.

Spacious getaway but needs some TLC.

Spacious house. Wanted to love this property as we've stayed in many houses located on Eastern shores over the past 14 years. Several maintenance issues we reported were addressed by the Service Team. I am reporting additional items found throughout the week (such as some tripping conditions in front of house that need fixing). The cleanliness of the property was extremely disappointing and although addressed, the house should have been in appropriate check-in condition. I'm gong to assume staffing shortages for amount of houses to be cleaned is the reason.

Perfect home for a large family

We stayed at this home with 10 adults and four children, and it was perfect for multiple families. Each queen-sized room had its own master bathroom, which made assigning rooms a breeze, and the kids had their own bathroom as well. The house features an attached bar room with a full-sized refrigerator and bathroom, which was a nice addition. The outdoor hot/cold water shower was extremely convenient for rinsing off after a day at the beach, which we absolutely loved. There was also ample parking available, accommodating up to eight vehicles. The house offered plenty of seating for everyone to gather for meals, movies, and other entertainment. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans, and bowls we needed. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The patio furniture was dirty and moldy, and the house itself could use a power wash. Additionally, the elevator occasionally had issues, as it wouldn’t always open on the third floor. Despite these minor issues, the home was amazing, and I would definitely book it again. It’s earned a spot on my favorites list.

Just a few hours before our arrival, we were on the road, a vacasa rep called and informed us the cleaning crew discovered the cooktop had been cracked and was inoperable. Hot plates would be left for our use. A review from May, 2023 said the cooktop was cracked but couldn’t be replaced during that week. Then another review from October, 2024 states the cooktop was cracked! So this cooktop had been cracked for at least 25 months but the rep let us to believe it had just happened! Totally unexceptable!! Cooking on hot plates for 9 people is a challenge. I guess we were glamping! Some tiles on the entry steps are broken making it a safety challenge when entering and leaving the residence from the front door. The tiles were mentioned in a review in October, 2024. The vacasa rep wrote the steps were scheduled for repair. Well, it’s been 8 months! The sectional couch in the living room off the kitchen needs replaced. That has been mentioned in previous review also. The exterior of the house needs lots of tlc! If not repaired water is going to make repairs very expensive. The pool is nice as is the elevator. Location is good. Our family had a really nice time but was just turned off by the repairs that haven’t been corrected in months!

Lots of space and could accomodate wheelchair, mostly

Overall the house was great! Cleanliness of day to day things was good, but overall maintenance could be better. Things like windows, screens, ceiling fans, etc were filthy, but floors, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc were clean. Main issue was AC on second floor wasn't working but we were not told in advance and a repair man came unannounced to us to fix it all day on Saturday. Didn't affect our stay overall, but even after contacting the property mgmt company about it, I was never contacted to apologize for the inconvenience or offered any compensation. Also found a leak in one of the bathrooms and again, was not contacted by property mgmt after reporting it. But there were plenty of forks and the kitchen was well stocked. No seasonings or foil, Ziploc bags, saran wrap, etc, so you'll need to bring those, although they did provide a salt and pepper shaker which was nice. As for the wheelchair, my daughter's power chair fit in the elevator with another person with her, even though it was tight. There was a step up getting up into the house, though, so you will need a travel ramp if you come with a power chair.

Coastal View II

I really would like to give this house more stars-- it has a great layout, great location, lots of space, and the bedroom layouts are exactly what we needed. Unfortunately, below the surface it just fell short. Having an elevator was a requirement for my family, but it didn't work well--wouldn't go to the middle level at all. The house needs a serious deep cleaning- I'm sure the weekly crew do their best, but the dirt and lack of maintenance upkeep is in need of some extra attention (walls, carpets are dirty, rodent problem, broken shelves in fridge, pool liner needs to be replaced, rusty tables and chairs outside, dining room chairs wobbly and falling apart, piles of broken tiles and rusty nails at the front door to greet us...). That said, we had a lovely week for sure-- it just has so much potential to be a lot nicer.
