Come relax at Joyful-Stays in the heart of St Augustine. Spend your nights away from the noise in a fully stocked home away from home, and leave your car parked in the garage or driveway and walk to all the local attractions! You will find plenty to do, 2 minutes walk from Dog Rose Brewing Co, 3 min walk to Lightner museum and Flagler college, and 6 or so minutes to St. George street, which has all the shopping, food, and attractions one can ask for! Enjoy the culture of old St. Augustine, with the comforts of home! New 3 story home with large fully stocked kitchen, game room, outdoor dining area, 2 king beds! Steps away from the trolley, the historic center, and tons of shopping and food! 15 minute drive to Vilano beach!

This is a 3 story new build, the first level has a game room with a TV, sleeper sofa, and multi-use game table. The space can alternatively serve as a home office, with a desk set up, separated from the rest of the living areas. This area leads out to the backyard with stone pavers, patio lighting, dining furniture, and new hot tub.

There is a one car garage on the first level as well, which attaches directly to the game room. Please note, no bathrooms on the first floor! All guests must be comfortable climbing stairs!

The second story houses the main living areas, and includes a kitchen, laundry room, 1/2 bath, dining and living room. Kitchen is fully stocked, and includes essentials for making coffee and tea, a full spice rack, oil, salt, pepper, and GreenPans and bakeware. Wall mounted SmartTV is 70", please bring your codes to log in to whatever shows you like to stream at home! The sofa is a sleeper.

The third floor consists of 1 king master bedroom with ensuite, full bath with shower and 2 closets. The second bedroom also has a king bed, and the third bedroom a queen. Both bedrooms have closets. There is a full hallway bathroom with tub. AC/heat control is on this level for the upper 2 levels.

We have a keypad code for keyless entry.
Our location is in the heart of downtown, 2 min walk to Lightner museum, Flagler college, 9 min walk to St. George street which has multiple boutique shops, souvenir stores, and food from sit down restaurants, to the best pizza place, to amazing popsicles, and everything in between!

Old Town Trolley Tours stops at the Lightner museum, and 21 other locations throughout Historic St Augustine. This is a hop-on/hop-off guided tour through the city, and allows you to explore at your own pace!

St. Augustine is a rapidly growing and gentrifying area, with new builds right next to (or across the street from) older neglected houses. You will occasionally see boarded up buildings in the middle of neighborhoods surrounded by neighbors with perfectly landscaped yards. This is simply the way most of St. Augustine is. Our neighbors are quite friendly, and the streets are well lit at night.

We are located in a gentrifying area of St. Augustine. The old is mixing with the new, and it is not uncommon to find houses in disrepair next to new builds. This is true of most of St Augustine, and also true of our neighborhood. We are a brief walk away from the college, Lightner museum, St George street, and a brewing company. In the midst of all the action there can be some noise, but it is generally a quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors, who may very well engage as you walk by. Welcome to Old Town!

Walking is easy, and you are also close to trolley stops if you want to see the town via hop on/off trolley. Parking can be tricky downtown, but there are some public pay per hour spots.

Our house is child and pet friendly. We do ask that pets be crated when you are not at home if they are not going with you. There is an additional pet fee which will be added to the reservation.

Please do not leave young children unattended near the stairs. There is a high chair and a pack and play available for use, please let us know ahead of time if you would like to make use of them during your stay!

Security Deposit: We do request a security deposit to book, it is simply a hold in the amount of $500 on your credit card. This is to discourage significant damage to the house or property, and/or violation of house rules. This will be released after your stay. Please rest assured no money will be taken without discussion with you and your approval beforehand. Again, this is simply a hold, and in 2 years of doing business we have only had to utilize.
