The soothing sounds of a crystal clear, spring-fed creek welcome you to this newly remodeled, 3 Bedroom, 2.5 bath mountain home designed for year round indoor & outdoor fun! The private, 1.5 acre yard features a gorgeous creek with perfect water & sounds winding through the mossy back yard to help you unwind and have fun!

Venture out to the backyard to enjoy:

All the bedrooms are on the upper level of the house, with the kitchen and two living areas downstairs. The property is located just one mile off of Highway 64 in Sapphire, so you're ~5 miles from Cashiers, ~15 miles from Highlands, ~25 miles from Brevard, and surrounded on all sides by 100's of trails, waterfalls, rafting, horseback riding, and outdoor activities. You are literally in the heart of Western NC, and close to fantastic restaurants, shopping, groceries, and all the things you need close by.

** The property is located in the Holly Forest community and provides membership privileges for Sapphire Valley Resort Amenities. Beautiful, perfectly manicured property with no stone unturned. Nature at its best. Several sirens gathering areas. Multi game opportunities for all ages. Everything in perfect working order. Owner provides so many extras. I smiled the entire time I was there! All of the recommended things to do and places to eat were spot on!!!

We had the best time at Crystal Creek Arcade House. The hosts had everything we needed and more-and communication from them was great! The stream outside the house was so relaxing to listen to and we spent a lot of time sitting outside in the beautiful nature that surrounded the house. Location was central and easy to get to restaurants and grocery store. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you again for a wonderful and relaxing vacation!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Arcade home! The home was as described. We so appreciated the supplies that were included. The home was clean and beautifully decorated! The ping pong table was a big hit! We enjoyed working with the owners and property manager. We love visiting Cashiers, and can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a great weekend away!

Amazing Arcade House

This is our second time staying at the Arcade house. Elise and Evans are great hosts. This home will be our go to for future visits. They have all the amenities you would expect and more. The kids love all the games available to play and the house is just perfect. You will not be disappointed if you book your stay here..

A Fantastic Getaway

This was an absolutely beautiful home. It was exactly as advertised. If anything the photos don't quite do it justice. It was also very well equipped. You could not ask for better hosts than Evans & Elise. Right after checking in we received a message asking if all was satisfactory and letting us know they were ready to take care of anything that we needed. It was a perfect stay.

Birthday getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect. Only thing we wished would have been different was the parking. My crew was all adults and parking multiple vehicles would have been more pleasant if the parking area was larger. Otherwise, everything was just as it was posted for review. We'd stay again for sure! :)

Gorgeous place and so much to do in, and outside the house!

Celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary with our adult children and son’s dog. This house has it all! We had so much fun bringing back memories playing pac-man and arcade games. The virtual reality video game had us all laughing like crazy! The porch looking out over the creek in the back was very peaceful. We really appreciated the written out directions for the places to hike as wifi when you are driving can be in and out. Made it to several of the recommended hikes and restaurants. Very friendly town and people. We will need to come back to see more!

Perfect Cashiers/Sapphire Home

We love the Cashiers/Sapphire Valley area because it is close enough to Florida to drive in one day, has great access to amenities for the kids, and is a close enough drive to all the other outdoor and indoor activities in western N.C. This house was one of the best. Easy to get to. Plenty of wildlife like birds, deer, bears, and turkeys. Safe, clean, with access to a creek for the kids. They also enjoyed the arcade room and the ping pong table. Can't say enough good things about the home.

Fun House

The Arcade house is a great house for kids, old and young. Our kids ranged from 6 to 77 and all of us loved the various games in the arcade room! The kitchen area is a nice size and filled with light. We made the top porch our morning and evening gathering space. Although the main bedrooms are upstairs, the couch bed down stairs was fun for the kids to use. We particularly enjoyed the amenities provided with this rental at the near by Sapphire Club where there are pools, boats and all manner of golfing. We recommend this rental to any young family. Sapphire Valley is an outstanding area to visit.

Perfect Family Getaway!

Our family had a blast staying at the Crystal Creek Arcade House! The house was situated in a quiet neighborhood and was well furnished with everything you would need. Tim was a great host - so helpful with answering questions and giving recommendations on places to eat and things to do. Our grandsons and son-in-law especially loved the arcade room, especially Pac-man, the Nintendo games, and the Golden Tee. Everyone enjoyed ping pong, the covered porches, cornhole, and s'mores at the fire pit. The grandsons loved racing rubber ducks and exploring the creeks. Our daughter and family also enjoyed many of the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities like putt putt golf and the gem mining (grandsons did this 3 times!) as well as fishing and hiking at Fairfield Lake. Something for everyone - a perfect family getaway!

Incredible Stay, Inside and Out

What an absolute gem this home is. Think the pictures are great? Wait until you stay... You can't beat hanging out on the large two-tiered deck, overlooking the *private* creek running right through the backyard! Between the calming flow of the creek and multiple sightings of wildlife, this was the ultimate place to relax and unwind. Many spots to hang out and enjoy your entertainment of choice. Coffee and reading on the porch in the morning... hikes and outdoor adventures during the day... s'mores around the campfire and gaming at night. From ping pong to board games to PacMan or Golden Tee, there's something for everyone. The virtual reality experience was also totally out of this world. We loved how convenient trips into the neighboring towns were for lunch, shopping and groceries - as well as the abundance of hikes of all levels. The host, Tim, was great at providing so many recommendations - we loved Whitewater Falls and our lunch at Four65 in Highlands. The home had everything we could have wanted for our getaway in the mountains. Inside or out, you won't find a better stay with family or friends than here! We will be back again - thanks, Tim!!

Absolutely perfect

We had such an amazing time at what our kids will forever call "the arcade house by the creek". The backyard is like out of a fairy tale: green, mossy rocks, a meandering creek, leaves of every color, and tons of space to climb and explore. With NO mosquitos!! The porch is truly perfect for adults to sit and take it all in! Despite it being chilly out, we all spent time in the creek. I recommend bringing some rain boots so you can just hop on in. The heat lamp on the porch will make it all worth it! Then there is the interior: so comfortable, open, and just perfect for a group gathering. The kids LOVED the arcade, especially the tabletop pac man game. But even when it was time to cut off screen time they were more than happy to jump to ping pong and board games in the generous living room. The owner has thought of EVERYTHING, and this house is designed for guests to enjoy and relax. The furniture is so comfortable and inviting, everything is high quality and very clean. The kitchen had everything you could need. One of my favorite details of the home was the giant bowl of rubber duckies by the porch: that tiny detail led to hours of fun creek duck races. I can't review this property without commenting on the incredible owners. Tim went above and beyond in making sure we were settled in, and able to enjoy this amazing property. He provided a long list of activities, hikes, restaurants, and little known local gems even before we arrived. He was just a phone call or text away to help with any questions. I have already booked a trip for next year with him, as this was truly the best rental experience I've had through VRBO.

Lots to do in Cashiers

House was exactly what we wanted and matched pictures. Tranquil back yard with stream and our kid loved the Arcade room. Would book again and wanted to stay longer!

Great family getaway

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay for a quick family getaway. From the game room to the awesome backyard , there were plenty of things to keep our young kids entertained. Great location too. There are a ton of trails with awesome waterfall views close by. Host were awesome and answered any questions in a timely manner. Would definitely book again.

The property was great and more than fine for our family. We had a lot of fun, but what made the experience so awesome was the host. I had lost my wallet in the house somewhere and they went above and beyond to try and find it. Even going over to the house themselves to search. Highly recommend property.

What a great property!

We spent our family Christmas here and it rained the whole time but we didn't have a boring moment. The arcade room and ping pong table is great! The boy's loved playing Golden Tee. The house was clean with plenty of comfortable seating in multiple rooms. Bed's were great too, not to mention the huge shower in the master bedroom. It was fully stocked with paper towels, detergent, and toilet paper. We will definitely be back so we can enjoy the beautiful stream running through the property and the awesome back decks. What a view! Thank you for a great time!

Peaceful and Relaxing

We recently stayed at Crystal Creek for 5 days and it was so peaceful and relaxing! The home was clean and set up perfectly for just us or a larger family. Everything we needed was provided. Communication with Elise was excellent and helpful. The property is gorgeous! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch drinking coffee listening to the creek every morning and sitting by the fire for hours. We honestly didn't venture out into town much because it was so relaxing for us at the house, which was the whole purpose of our trip - to RELAX! We're already talking about when we could go back with our children and grandchildren! Ingles is a short drive away to grab whatever you may need. We had a wonderful time - don't hesitate to make your reservation!
