Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Check in time is 4pm. Well we get there to check in and it's filthy. Beds are dirty, towels are terrible. Well we had to deal with people in another state who were trying to get a local team to take care of the problem. Around 8pm it was finally clean and we checked in The room was nice with a nice view but the check in process was terrible. I got an email saying that if we weren't out by 10 we would be charged, but they didn't give any price break for checking in 4 hours late. If you see that a place is managed by VACASA run.

Don't stay here

It's managed by Vacasa so if you have a problem like we did at check in, the place hadn't been cleaned from the last guests. You have to deal with someone in the West Coast, who deals with a regional team.... It took until after 8pm for us to get into the room. We never received a follow up, and never received a notice from them telling us it was ready. Had we not checked we would still be waiting.

Oceanfront Vacation

This apartment is located on a high floor with gorgeous ocean views. We watched the sunrise every morning from our balcony. What an experience! In this part of Daytona the beach was not very populated with plenty of space for everyone. Covered parking was great. Our only complaint was that the WiFi was down during our whole vacation time. We were promised that someone would come by to fix it but nobody ever showed up, despite multiple promises. This apartment is great for a couple and the beach was wonderful.

Quick getaway

The key pad lock system was difficult to use and even though I had the code it would shut down and turn red after the second digit. After two or three times it seemed to work. There was a balcony overlooking the ocean which was covered in pigeon scat, otherwise the inside was clean.The wifi was very inconsistent with a poor signal and the TV operation was complicated.On a positive note, the manager was very helpful and available to correct my concerns.

Great view of the ocean

Great location overlooking the beach and ocean. The building itself is a bit older, but it was nice to have secure parking and walking distance to the main attractions.

By the Ocean

This was a great place to stay. We LOVE being able to eat breakfast on the balcony and enjoy the sounds and view. We will be back!!!

Our Experience

We have NEVER, had a VRBO experience like this. So let's dive in. PROS: Great location. Clean Beach. Perfect size for 2. Nice and quaint studio apartment. Well decorated. Comfortable space. Great view. CONS: We had a some issues with our unit. We had no running water for a day. The pool was covered in algae and was not able to be used during our 6 night stay, even though it was an amenity that we paid for and was noted as a provided amenity. Please note that the pool wasn't just dirty, it had algae on top from what appears to be lack of maintenance. The fire detector needed a battery and started chirping. We took it down because it kept chirping. The mattress protector has blood spots on it and was not washed. I was changing sheets because sand got in them. When I took the fitted sheets off, there is blood spots on the mattress cover. As a nurse I was mortified and disgusted that we slept on that since that is a huge Blood born pathogen no no and it wouldn't take much for the cover to be taken off and bleached/washed. I ended up putting my sheets on top of the dirty shirts to create more of a barrier. There was bird feces all over the balcony. I realize that you are going to have a dropping or 2 but we couldn't go out barefoot. It looks as though it was never cleaned, as it was caked on; our neighbors did not have that issue as there balcony was clean. The WORST con of them all was the lack of communication. We addressed all of these issues with VACASA. We messaged via VRBO and did not get a response. We also messaged VACASA and called them. We were advised to stay in our unit until maintenance came. They could not give us an ETA. We waited over 4 hours and no one ever came. This dug into our vacation time. Please note that it took VACASA over 24 hours to respond to our message in VRBO. As of our check-out, none of our issues were addressed with the exception of the water, and we saw no staff regarding our concerns. The lack of communication and care from VACASA, is very disappointing as the property has great potential. We wouldn't advise anyone to rent from VACASA as they obviously have no regard for their patrons. My overall feeling from the experience with them is that they are great with taking your money, but when an issues arise they have no regard for you and feed you whispers of sweet nothings only to leave you hanging.

Loved that we had a balcony right on the beach! It was a little confusing gutting into the condo as only about half the building has 7 floors. But, with help, we figured it out. There was no hair dryer as was stated but Vacasa brought a brand new one to us. The microwave malfunctioned but again, one call and a brand new one was brought. The one key was kind of a pain but it just made us stick together and be safe. Plenty of places we could walk to and plenty of activities. It might be nice to have a few beach chairs. We bought some and were going to leave them but then ended up giving them away to someone who could use them on the beach. I would definitely book this again!!!
