Scallop season until September 24. Been a bountiful year. Dogs welcome! Come watch the manatees from the porch. Yard is fully fenced in and turf for cleaners pups. Ample parking for cars and boat trailers in two wide driveways. Home facing the manatee “birthing” canal. Manatees come into this canal to feed and give birth. Dolphins frequently come to the house as well. Upper level is a kitchen, great room with 65” tv. Dining area, screened porch overlooking the water. A king bedroom suite with stand up shower and garden tub. Massive his and her closets for long stays. Second upstairs bedroom has a queen bed with a full bathroom just off the bedroom with a tub/shower combo. Lower level, with separate outside entrance, has a glassed in sitting area with television overlooking the water plus a large room with a queen bed, exercise equipment and a twin bed. Also a full bathroom with stand up shower. The entire home, upstairs and down is included, but each has privacy due to each have separate entrances. Home comes with pots, pans, eating utensils etc. Everything needed for a big family meal. High quality cookware. Linens, blankets and towels plus access to extra of everything. Laundry room has washer and dryer with detergent. Home comes with tandem kayaks, single kayaks and a paddle board, plus paddles and life jackets for all ages. Perfect for paddling the crystal clear Weeki Wachee. Only a few minutes paddle to the main river. Fishing off the dock is very good, Crab, Mullets, Snook, Redfish, Snapper as well as Bass. Can dock boat at the home safely away from current and wind. The river access is just downstream from the hot dog barge and upstream from hospital hole. If this home is booked or doesn’t fit your families needs, I have two other homes in Weeki Wachee. Always feel free to ask questions. I want to ensure every family stay is absolutely perfect.
No massive check out duties. This is your vacation. About 7 minutes to Pine Island Beach for magical sunsets and about the same distance to the Mermaid Show and Buccaneer Water Park in the state park.

Pat and I stayed here to celebrate his 54th birthday, and we had an absolutely amazing time! There honestly wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t already there. The home had everything we could possibly need, from laundry facilities to bedding and all the little things that made our stay comfortable and easy.The wildlife made the trip even more special. We got to see manatees, an alligator, and so much other wildlife. It was such a cool experience and something we’ll definitely remember.The property was comfortable, well-equipped, and the perfect place for our little birthday getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Five stars and five thumbs up from both of us! We would absolutely stay here again!

Hose was super. Kitchen had everything you would need.. location to main river perfect for our small boat. Dog friendly fenced area . But the view from windows that over looked the canal was what made the place special.

Kevin was a wonderful host and the house was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, well appointed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The proximity to the springs made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area, and the outdoor spaces were especially enjoyable. They were peaceful and relaxing, and a great place to unwind after a day on the water. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This is our favorite property on the Weeki Wachee. We’ve stayed here multiple times and we’ll come back again. There are plenty of kayaks. We saw manatee and turtles and fish from the floating dock. It’s just lovely.

Great place to stay. Lots of room, clean. Responsive owner. Great view of Manatees from the second floor. They to hung out daily in front of the house. Loved Kayaking on the Weeki Watchee river and exploring the surrounding area. This is our 3rd year at this property and best place we have found yet. This part of Florida is still considered old Florida. Charming and relaxing.

This home was perfect for a group slumber party. Private accommodations for 6. Open floor plan is perfect for our group of musicians. Great location; we caught fish, watched manatees feeding on eel grass in this canal and lots of water toys to explore the river. Updating is in the works for upgrading outdoor gathering areas.

The house was just perfect for adults and teens. The downstairs room and bathroom was occupied by my teen son and his friend and they absolutely loved having their own privacy while the adults were upstairs. We love that the house comes equipped with kayaks and life jackets. It only takes about 5-10 mins to kayak from the house to Weeki wachi springs. In the morning while having coffee and hanging outside on the deck, we saw a mama manatee and her baby just chilling at the corner. This house is on the river and away from the crazy busy canal where people were playing loud music throughout the day. We wanted peaceful and serene and we got it. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard and being on the dock. Kevin was also wonderful to communicate with. He replies back almost right away with answers and help around the area. We will definitely come back to this house again on our next trip!

Excellent property! We often take mini vacations to the Weeki Wachee river and this is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. The property itself is fabulous. It’s in an excellent location. It’s very nicely furnished and has everything you’re gonna need for your stay. The host is spectacular. This one is a real gem.

The location was outstanding and the house was clean and cozy with everything we needed, including comfortable beds. There was a great selection of kayaks, all of which seemed to be in good condition. Perhaps the best compliment came from my 13 year-old son (a tough critic), who said he wants to live there! Also, the host, Kevin, simply could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. We definitely hope to return in the future!

Great winter getaway

Place was easy to get to and loved having water access with the kayaks and paddle boards. It was nice to have room for us to spread out.

The inside of the home was very nice and clean. Accommodations were everything we were looking for. The home was pet friendly and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was excellent and we absolutely loved the fact that the manatee were frequently feeding on the water grasses right off the dock. The host could not have been more wonderful, accommodating and communicative. The yard wasn’t perfect, but there has been a drought in Florida. The only suggestion I have for improvement is rinsing off the kayaks some and cleaning up the yard a little…overall though, I still give this lovely home a 4.9 out of five stars

Loved the spacious kitchen and living room. We put two teenagers downstairs and one upstairs. There was plenty of room and 3 full bathrooms. We used the kayaks, fire pit and grill. Thanks for sharing your place with us, the location was fantastic!

This property is wonderful. Lots of kayaks and all the necessities. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. Host is very accommodating, easy to communicate with.

Retired nature lover. First time to visit Weeki Wachee hooked me. I immediately bought a home , and now have three. All my vacation homes cater to completely different lifestyle needs. One home is in the quiet area with access to Mud River by Mary's Fish Camp. Has a boat ramp and very fast access to fishing and scalloping in the gulf. Another home has access to Weeki Wachee with a heated, salt water pool that is screened in. And the third is a super modern living home with beautiful king master suite and two levels that look over the canal with quick access to the main Weeki Wachee river.
