Updated waterfront home, great manatee viewing, dock, 5 minute paddle to river!

Enjoy the water views from the screen porch or sit in the Adirondack chairs out on the dock (where you can also tie your boat). Paddle the crystal clear Weeki Wachee river in one of the 4 kayaks (one tandem, three singles) or canoe or paddle board - just a 5 minute paddle from the house. Swim off the dock in the canal or in the main river. We have a water mat you can lounge on off the dock. Excellent manatee, turtle, large water bird, and flying mullet viewing from the house. Large, open concept living room/dining area, well appointed kitchen, updated master bathroom. Fire pit overlooking water. Bike the quiet Weeki Wachee Gardens neighborhood on the 2 bikes provided. Great restaurants and breweries nearby. 10 minute drive to see the mermaids at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and Buccaneer Bay Water Park. Easy day trip to Homosassa Springs State Park and Crystal River, or head south to Tampa/St. Petersburg. Or - never leave the tranquility of the house and our quiet canal!

The home was perfect, inside and out. The location was perfect also. The neighborhood was super quiet. It was exactly what we wantwd for a relaxing weekend on the river. We will definitely be back and highly recommend a stay there!

Beautiful place

This home was beyond beautiful! We had a great time. We went kayaking, fishing and went swimming in the river! It has everything you need to cook and grill! This is the spot for a great experience!!!

Home away from home

The home was comforting and supplied everything we needed. If we decide to escape to weeki wachee again, this will be the home we choose to stay at.

Fantastic

My family and I had an amazing stay at this great location a close paddle from the spring. From being able to dock the kayaks from the back yard, playing on water mat or just chilling on the dock watching manatees and dolphins come by, I highly recommend this vacation home! 5 stars!

Amazing!

Everything about our stay was amazing. The house was spotless and had everything you might need. The hosts were fantastic! The house is a very short paddle to the main river and the kayaks and paddle boards were great quality. If you’re thinking about booking this house, DO IT! You won’t regret it.

Manatee Holiday House was great!

We loved all the upgrades inside the house. It was very quiet and relaxing. Bed was super comfy. Easy communication with the owners. Husband suggests a fish cleaning table out by the dock. We will defiantly be coming back to visit.

River house was amazing.

We showed up and the house and could not believe how clean and perfect it was. The location of the house is perfect. One block away from the crystal clear blue weeki wachee river. AC was not working when we had showed up and the property manager was quick to respond and get it fixed. This vacation was perfect and we will definitly be back again.

Perfect place!

This place comes with everything that was listed on VRBO. Easily access to everything (the main river, stores, restaurants (hot pot place was the bomb!). The whole place was clean, with enough towels and blankets for us 4. The kitchen was fully equipped (seasonings, ziplock bags, k cups, and other stuff). We left some things behind, and it was a breeze to communicate with the owners to retrieve those items. We will stay here again.

Best stay on the River!!

Don’t even hesitate to book this place! It was in the perfect location to the river! Easy couple minutes paddle to the clear water river! We saw manatees at the dock almost every day! They really have thought of everything you would need here! The dock was perfect, the kayaks, paddle board, canoe and water mat were in excellent shape. The house was super clean and all beds and couches were comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked and beautiful bathrooms and even an outdoor shower! Our family loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Great location, great house, great amenities.

There were lots of wonderful things about our stay! Location, mainly, but lots of amenities,clean house,the kayaks,canoe,SUP and lily pad made it a huge success. We saw manatees almost every time we went paddling! The house is even privacy fenced all the way to the water, so it is very private...EXCEPT for the cameras and the Ring system. If you stay here, you need to know that there is a camera on the outside downstairs pointing at the main outdoor recreation area on the water. I understand it is to protect the owners property, but I feel like I was surveilled on vacation. The other outside cameras didn't bother us, but you may want to reconsider if you value your privacy. Also, I burned the bacon in the oven one day and nearly had a mental breakdown from the RING fire alarm. There was also a smoke detector in the house, which was the regular kind and manageable. The RING alarm was ear piercing and would not quit going off even after unplugging it because it has batteries. The fire dept called, and came anyway even though we told them what happened. The sheriff called the owner, the owner called me, and it was really just a HUGE fiasco over burnt bacon and a little-not a lot-of smoke. Also, listing should state washcloths not included. We had three washcloths. There were four of us for a week. Says Linens/Towels provided, and towels and beach towels were provided, nice ones. BUT, we each use a clean one every day! I had to buy them. It was a very nice vacation all in all!!

Host was excellent! They reached out to me even before the trip to let me know everything was ready and to see if I needed anything else. House was perfect. Very clean with plenty of amenities. Enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch as well as the dock. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

This is an amazing place, we loved everything about it. We stayed for a 55th birthday celebration and the home was perfect. Upon arriving, we walked to the back water and admired the landscaping. The yard is private from the neighbors and beautiful. The outdoor sitting area and dock were perfect for a a quiet night by the water. The home is finished beautifully inside, spacious, and immaculately clean! A very nice kitchen, although we ate sandwiches and meals out, so we could enjoy more time outside on the screened porch and deck upstairs. The master bath has a great shower! We used the kayaks, canoe, and SUP to go up the river, which is within 5 minutes from the house via the canal. We saw Manatee at the dock in front of the house and on the river! The best thing about the house, a wonderful host! Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Wir waren drei Nächte im Haus und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Check-In verlief reibungslos. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, war sauber und alles was man benötigt war vorhanden.Wir hatten das Glück bei unseren Ausflügen viele Manatees zu sehen.Wir können die Unterkunft auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen und würden wieder kommen.

Perfect Oasis

Our group stayed for a small adventure but absolutely loved the family style feel of the place. The location was beautiful and we spotted manatees and crabs from the porch. It had great shopping nearby and wonderful restaurants, I recommend the hibachi. Honestly a great getaway if you're looking for a peaceful place surrounded by nature.

We live in Virginia and balance our time between kids and work, trying to get to Weeki Wachee, Florida as frequently as possible. We love the outdoors and still can't believe the beauty of the Weeki Wachee river with its crystal clear waters and amazing wildlife. The swimming can't be beat and the manatees are truly magnificent! Our long term plan is to make Weeki Wachee our permanent home. Until then, we are happy that we can give others the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this part of the United States.

We fell in love with Weeki Wachee, Florida in 2015 and have been coming back frequently ever since. We love the manatees and other wildlife in the neighborhood, paddling on the river, visiting the mermaids, and enjoying the great restaurants and breweries nearby. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly, great for morning runs, bike rides and evening walks. It is a true escape and relaxing holiday!
