Relax at this condo at The Victorian across from Babes Beach on Seawall Blvd. Enjoy a beautiful walk up and down Galveston’s historic seawall. A central location to restaurants and attractions. The Victorian has two pools (one heated), two hot tubs, BBQ grills, tennis court and a workout area.

The Victorian charges a $40 fee (1-7 days) $40 (8-30 days) $80 per month to park your vehicle. Parking is gated and sheltered. The fee also covers wristbands for access to the pools and other amenities. To check in, park under the carport of The Victorian and walk inside to fill out the paperwork.

The condo is 474 sq ft. It sleeps 4. There is a mini fridge, however it DOES NOT have a freezer. There are laundry rooms in buildings 1, 3, and 9.

I bought a Kuerig. There should be 2 K cups and 4 creamers left out to start. If you need more feel free to bring them or stop at Walmart across the street.

The pools were just completely renovated in March of 2023.

This was a great room! Well-kept and appointed. Wish is had a larger fridge with a freezer, but we mad do! Really liked having two couches, that was really helpful!

Perfect Getaway!

Our family (2 adults/1 baby) stayed and it was perfect! The beach is across the street and everything is within a couple miles! Will definitely be back!

The host was great. He responded to my questions immediately which was several times including the fee but not his fault as I doubled book accidentally VRBO showed one reservation was cancelled but that was one I did not pay for. He assured me all ok. The Tv is quite larg couch comfortable. Nice to have one end chaise lounge. Bathroom is small but we made do. Bed was good. Big tv in bdrm but did not use. Have to be careful not to bump into it on one side of bed. Love having one cup kureig coffee pot. No kitchen staples so bring your own. Extra shampoo and conditioner was nice. Kitchen could use some remodeling but may not have room to do so. We stayed only one night and pleased. Note you pay 35 parking for 1 or 7 nights which we knew from listing. Not first condo to do that in Galveston.

Great Stay

Nicely remodeled property that is clean and in a great location. The bed was very comfortable and my daughter loved the cozy bunk bed. It is a great value.

Birthday Trip

It was amazing! So clean and easy to access. Super close to the beach and the owner is so nice and checked in multiple times to make sure we were okay and didn’t need anything. Would 10000% stay again!!

Great condo for a weekend in Galveston! It’s right across the street from the beach! The condo has all you need too! Tyler was easy to communicate with and was great at giving all the check in information I needed!

Everything I hoped for

I just spent a week at this lovely apartment and could not be more pleased. It is just like in the photos. Everything is new and well appointed. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has all you need to cook your meals. The owner made sure I had all I needed and was very accessible. Location is also fantastic!

My cleaner takes a video of the unit after every clean. I watched it multiple times and I couldn't find anything that was dirty. I asked the guest to tell me what wasn't clean so I could notify my cleaner and I received no response. The guest checked in to the unit hours before check in without verifying with me first. (still no communication)So of course at that time the unit wouldn't have been cleaned. He left right away and my cleaner went in behind him to clean. It was done before the 4:00 check in. This guest had a one night stay but trashed the place. I had to throw away some blankets and sheets due to urinating on them. The guest unplugged my security camera to monitor the outside of the unit for both of our safety and security, which is a rules violation. He left the front door wide open when he checked out. Arranged my furniture and pulled the dishwasher out of its space. I have hosted over 100 stays and have never had nearly this poor of a review or have had this bad of an experience as a host with how my unit was treated. My cleaner has cleaned thousands of units over the years and couldn't believe what she saw, especially for a one night stay. She called me immediately when she saw the door was left open. I received minimal communication the entire time. One initial response. I hope anyone looking to stay would look at all my other great reviews and know that is not a reflection of how my unit is. I take great pride in making sure my unit is in great shape and great communication to make sure my guests enjoy their stay. I enjoy being a host and I would love to host your group. I would advise any host to steer away from this guest.

Mother-Son trip

The condo was perfect for my son (14) and I. He loved the bunk beds, and we both loved being across the street from the ocean. We had a great time. The only negatives had nothing to do with this property - during Spring break there were many college students at the property, and one night we were woken up when they were loud coming home at 2 AM. Not the property owner's fault. Would stay again- the condo was amazing. We would choose a time other than spring break.

Host was amazing!

Every year for about the past four years, we’ve done a trip to Galveston, each year somewhere different. A condo in the same complex as this, a super budget friendly hotel, another time at Hotel Galvez, and our fourth time found us back at the Victorian. This stay at the Victorian was much better than the first. The main difference was how above and beyond this host went to make us feel comfortable, heard, and accommodated for. He was very responsive and super personable, he was quick to listen and quick to respond. Their condo was also cleaner than the first, and I could tell the first place cut a lot of corners with their renovation (which I’m coming to see is a galveston trend.) The pools (and I think hot tubs) had been resurfaced and were beautiful and fun. Everyone at the pool had a security wristband showing that they belong to The Victorian. The hot tubs had a lock pad on it that you needed a code to get into. The sea and garden view from the balcony was beautiful. Much better than the outward facing view we had the time before. The balcony had hooks for hanging towels and suits to dry. The neighbors were all quiet and respectful. Seems like mostly families and retirees. The bedroom was well laid out well, with room in the closet for luggage and an extra set of sheets, blanket, and pillows for the pullout bed in the living room which was a good size and easy to operate. The bunk beds were a blast. The top one felt very secure and had a great mattress, the bottom one yo

Christmas Stay

We came to Galveston just like every year at Christmas to meet all of my family. This is a Christmas tradition. I have stayed at The Victorian, as well as other condos, but this was my first time in this particular unit. We checked in easily as we always do when we stay at The Victorian. The front desk was very pleasant and helpful with directions as they always are. They had everything prepared for us (our host took all of our information and made sure the front desk knew we were arriving) so checking in took no time at all! We went straight to our unit with no problems. We parked with no issues at all. This unit is so cute! Everything in it looks brand new! We would have spent time on the balcony with the nice view but it was too cold! The bed was so comfortable we overslept! That was nice, though! We had a question for the host. We really did not want to bother but we really did need to ask. It was Christmas Eve, and we felt so bad about having to bother someone. We sent the question and he answered within a few seconds! We did not expect an answer that quickly! The response was so polite! Especially since it was later in the evening during a holiday. The unit was very clean! I wish we had stayed longer! The weather was getting better as we were leaving! We are definitely going to book this unit again! I know during the warmer weather we will have a great time because we love the pool here and we can walk across the street to the ocean. We are going to be booking this unit for Christmas next year and will be booking much earlier to make sure we get it for the Christmas holiday!

My new favorite place

This is my new favorite Galveston stay! The condo was superb! Beautiful view of the ocean from the patio. It was very clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and couches relaxing. It's an easy walk across the street to the beach and very centrally located to everything. The owner was very accommodating and helpful and always had a quick response. I highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back!!

Amazing Rental!

This property is a gem! Across the street from Babe's Beach, next door to Walmart, first floor (ground floor is parking, so there are stairs or an elevator). Tyler did an amazing job renovating this property. It was clean, well outfitted, had everything we needed to have an inexpensive girls trip to the beach. We brought our own crock pot, but otherwise made do with everything in the kitchen for our meals. Bathroom was clean and well-stocked. Beds were comfortable and clean. It's cozy with three adults, but we were at the beach all day so it didn't really matter. We also enjoyed the patio and the view of the courtyard and the beach. Tyler was so responsive with every request and sent regular messages to help with check-in and check-out as well as just checking in to make sure everything was ok. 100% would recommend this to friends and family, and we will probably stay here next year.

Very nice condo

I took my two boys, ages 9 and 5 for a weekend getaway. The property was in great condition and the property manager was prompt and informative along the way. I will definitely stay here again!

I have a friend who at the time had one property at the Victorian. He went down to visit and check up on the place and I asked if I wanted to go. I decided I would go check it out and I instantly fell in love with The Victorian and all of its amenities. Waking and watching the sunrise over the ocean was perfect. Enjoying runs along Seawall blvd is something I cant do in November in Northern Wisconsin. It was the perfect getaway. Went golfing a few times. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation and from that point I made it a goal of mine to eventually own a property down there. I look forward to making memories with my family. I know the kids will love it.
