Fred's property checks every box for a visitor to Saratoga Springs, NY. First, its location on the town's historic east side is perfect, with just a five minute walk to the race course's main gate in one direction and the east entrance to Congress Park in the other. The bustling energy of downtown's Broadway, replete with offerings for foodies and shoppers alike, is also easily walkable from the house. The home's charm pops from the moment you walk into the foyer and fix your eyes on the gorgeous equine portrait that graces the parlor. Even the creak of certain floorboards appropriately echo the history of the home. The accommodations are plentiful, with four bedrooms scattered throughout the house, and even a bonus room upstairs with a pull-out sofa. A spacious kitchen comfortably sat eight of us (with a temporary furniture shift) and three full baths made cleaning up convenient for our group. Bath towels, linens, and coffee pods are provided. We had zero issues during our stay but the line of communication with the owner was open from the outset if we had. Situated on George Street, in the shadow of some of Union Avenue's historic mansions, this gem of a home will certainly meet all of your needs with a subtle but memorable flair.
