This was a really lovely property - the house seems almost new or thoroughly renovated. Private, quiet, beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fire pit especially.

Beautiful secluded and wooded property. Cabin and appliances are like new. Hot tub is in great shape and conveniently located just outide the cabin! Towels are incredible plush!

We really liked this place. It felt very private and remote, but was an easy drive to the town of Ohiopyle, Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, Bittersweet Cafe, hiking trailheads and other things we wanted to see. One bit of advice for others based on our mistake: We did not download the instructions for entry. We arrived at night and couldn’t call up the gate code on our phones because there was no cell service around the house. We had to drive back to a main road to get the gate and house entry codes. Once you get to the house, the Wi-Fi worked great, and the property is beautiful.

The property does have great privacy and is remote, but still in a good location to explore all of the wonderful attractions that the Laurel Highlands has to offer all within a short drive. It is true that cell service is almost non-existent once you get to the cabin, so it is a great idea to download the trip information that we share ahead of time! Thanks for staying with us!

The cabin itself and the property was excellent! It had everything we needed/wanted EXCEPT the hot tub was broken. Two men were trying to fix it when we arrived so clearly the property managers knew it was broken before we got there. This somewhat ruined our stay as we were really looking forward to using it every day. We were told by the property managers that we could use the hot tub at the neighboring cabin (which obviously was not convenient for us) and after the second day, we saw people at that cabin so using the hot tub was no longer an option. In the end (after several emails) we were provided a 50 per day refund due to the broken hot tub, but use of the hot tub was more important to us than the money. Also, the internet was fine but we were unable to stream Netflix and other apps to the tv. Every time we started to watch a movie we would get kicked off after several minutes, even though we were told that we had the data package. Having no hot tub and not being able to watch TV without endless commercials made our stay less than ideal. We should have been told about the hot tub prior to our arrival.

Clearly we were working to fix it for your stay, but sometimes these things happen and cannot be repaired same day. We were happy to provide an alternative tub for you for a few days, and had no problem providing the refund for the inoperable amenity. The internet was also tested before and after your stay and was found to be working as it should.

Super cozy cabin, very clean! Lacked little things like Kleenex and hand soap in both bathrooms but we made do with the kitchen soap. Otherwise everything was provided and great!! Nice little touches were the Nespresso coffee and Christmas tree. Kids had fun playing in the creek. We had such a nice and relaxing time, we would definitely return!

Beautiful cabin in the Laurel highlands. Lovely, Private property with fire pit, plenty of wildlife and a beautiful view of the stars. Only 12 minutes to Ohiopyle.

Family Getaway
