Quaint rustic house that we had a nice time. Loved that the river was in backyard for fishing and the fire pit was a nice feature for smores at night.

The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and loved the Culligan water cooler for bottle refills. And surprisingly the Dollar General had most everything for grocery runs close by. Had a great time in the very clean hot tub and around the fire pit, with the gentle river as our backdrop. This historic stone house is very comfortable for most age groups, just a little more difficult for the more senior guests, ie. stairs/handrails, outdoor lighting. But we knew that when booking. The trains passing frequently added charm, in our opinion. Didn’t bother us at all.

We had an absolutely delightful trip, thanks to Kara and this beautiful home! We are very appreciative! Proximity to the GAP was excellent. The town is charming. The home has a lovely yard and a magnificent view of the river. We so very much enjoyed the hot tub and chairs around the fire pit. Also lovely to have coffee on the porch in the mornings. Comfortable beds. Very well appointed kitchen. Three bathrooms. Everything was carefully prepared for us. I highly recommend this home.

Stonehouse is a perfect place for a trip to this area of PA. The home is historic but updated and cozy. The setting along the river is peaceful. We welcomed the train whistles and enjoyed watching them from the porch. The host communicated with us before and during the stay to make sure everything was good and we were happy with the accommodations. It’s a short and scenic drive to Flight 93 Memorial, Falling Water and Ohiopyle. The River’s Edge restaurant is a gem. Exceptional food and service. Highly recommend Stonehouse.

What a beautiful home. The view of the river, the lovely fireplace and cozy bedrooms…..we had a restful and relaxing stay. The size of the kitchen made meal prep easy, and it was well equipped.

We all loved this beautiful house right on the river! The lawn with the fire pit and hot tub was so relaxing and fun for all. The short walk along the river and across the bridge to the downtown and playground was great! The house layout is wonderful with enough room for a large group with children. The kitchen is well stocked along with enough towels, soap, etc in the bathrooms. It was the perfect house and location for our family to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday! The owner, Kara, is so nice to work with and very helpful! Highly recommend!

Great relaxing weekend with awesome hiking in the Laurel Highlands, staying in Confluence

We have stayed at the Confluence Yough properties year after year, and the Stone House at least for the past 4-5 years, always clean, ready to go, offering great accommodations in the Laurel Highland!

Fantastic weekend getaway

Myself and five friends had a wonderful time here. Spacious kitchen for great group meals, fantastic porch for some reading, great hot tub and fire pit for outdoor relaxation and views of the river. Already planning our return trip!

Mountain getaway

Stone House was very nice and roomy for our group of six. It had lots of old charm but the kitchen was nice and modern. We loved the hot tub and fire pit also.

This was the most perfect place for a six girl gathering. We stayed here to be in the center of all things outdoors - biking and hiking! The house is beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed. We spent most of our time outdoors at the firepit or on the couches in the evening. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Perfect Riverside Getaway!

Plenty of room in this renovated historic house. We really enjoyed having enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone in our party. We also enjoyed the outdoor amenities - the front porch, fire pit area, and fishing in the river. This was a great location for a "home base" for our bike trip.
