Full of natural light, this stylish gem is conveniently located on the ground floor of an exclusive collection of vacation rentals. Spend the day on the beach, or drive minutes to a host of attractions, including world-class wineries, Stearns Wharf, the Santa Barbara Bowl, and the boutiques and restaurants in nearby downtown.

Full of natural light, the studio includes a cushioned wicker chair and a 31-inch TV. After a day of adventure, curl up in a queen bed adorned with crisp white linens. Fresh and bright, the attached bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination. The unit includes a mini-refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. Extra perks include complimentary WiFi and cable TV. Sip coffee at a quiet sitting area outside your rental, offering two chairs and a table to perch drinks. You'll also have access to a secluded communal area. This outdoor space features two dining tables, benches, lounge chairs, and a barbecue grill for afternoon cookouts.

With East Beach one block away, you're just a block from the waterfront shuttle and an oceanside bike path along the beachfront. Soak up the laid-back vibe in downtown Santa Barbara (a 5-minute drive), and head the same distance to Stearns Wharf for shopping, dining, fishing, or to simply enjoy the salty breezes and wonderful ocean views. Walk 10 minutes for tasting sessions at Sanguis Winery, while local shops and eateries are even closer.

THINGS TO KNOW
This 229-square-foot studio is part of an older home; you may hear noises from adjacent units.
Although this unit is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with the mild summer temperatures at the beach.
This prime beachside locale is a half a block from the Amtrak rails and near the 101 freeway, and passing trains may occasionally be heard. Earplugs are provided if you are sensitive to noise while sleeping.

This studio was perfect for our 2 nights in Santa Barbara. The location to the beach and State Street was perfect for walking. Very cute, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time! There was a little difficulty with figuring out which room at first and then getting in, but we resolved it all fairly fast. Everything else was awesome. I would just recommend streamlining the check-in process a little more.

Cute room near East Beach

This property was clean and the bed was comfy. We were able to walk to East Beach and Stearns Warf easily. About a mile. We found the property quiet and enjoyed sleeping in a bit and our morning coffee before setting out for the day. Would stay again.

Solo Get Away

Charming studio in a great location! Loved that I could walk or bike to all my favorite spots. It was very helpful that the property description was so thorough and provided “what to expect” details since the rental is part of multiple rentals within an old home.

A gem in Santa Barbara!

We stayed in this lovely studio for 3 nights and wished we stayed longer! It's perfectly placed at walking distance from the beach and the neighbourhood is very quiet and friendly. Parking has never been a problem and it was free which is definitely a plus in Santa Barbara. The flat itself is compact, but well equipped and super clean. Bed is comfortable, good wifi, check-in and out were flawless. Truly recommend, great value for money!

Cute but needs improvement

This place was very clean, and cute, just the size we needed. Unfortunately there was an ant problem. We also paid for late check out (2pm) but the key pad on the door automatically changed the code at 11, locking us out with our bags still inside.

The location was great but the room was way smaller than it appeared. The bathroom door didn’t close, the tub faucet to shower didn’t work correctly and none of the appliances could reach an outlet without putting them on the floor. Some improvements should be made here.

Room okay but we could hear people walking upstairs and this woke us up in the morning. The toilet ran constantly, the shower drain was broken so we couldn’t use it. We saw pubic hair in jets of bathtub. Vanity was outdated and cracked.

Nice rental near the beach

This was a really nice rental unit near the beach. Everything was pretty much as listed in the description, and the location was perfect. The only issue we had was a really bad smell coming from the fridge unit. We tried to fight through it and use it but after a day we gave up since the smell was so overpowering. If it weren’t for this issue, I’d give it 5 stars. Oh also they should get a new lock for the door - the system used seems unnecessarily complicated.

Simple, clean, great location - but there are some cons

Pros: location! Cons: bed, small room, noise The location is great - it really is only a couple blocks to the beach. The walk to the pier is about 1.5 miles, so a bit of a trek, but well worth it. On the downside, the room is in an old house, so it does suffer from that a bit. You have upstairs neighbors who you can hear walking around. There is no heater in the room, which was a bit unexpected. The bed was ok, but not very comfortable. The room is small, and there’s really nowhere to open up your suitcase and leave it out.

Where is the cushioned wicker chair described in the property description? For us, an older couple (of 73 and 92) this chair was an important feature. The only chair for the two of us is one of hard hard plastic.A lesser point but worth noting: this is a very small space. Every inch is needed for personal items if stay is more than a night. Yet much space is taken by nicknacks that have to be relocated. Finding space for them is a challenge. Suggestion: stick with wall decor. Special note: The fake tree intrudes into the tiny closet thing and the long-accumulated dust on its many leaves (impossible to individually clean) gets on our clothes. It can go.
