Cozy Adirondack Condo- sunrise views of Lake Placid - lakeside!

Located in the Whiteface Club and Resort on beautiful Lake Placid. Sunrise views of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain from the patio or from your window in your pajamas! All season relaxation. Cozy wood burning fireplace after a day of skiing or summer lake breezes on the patio after a nice hike. Amazing dark skies if you’re a star- gazer. Access to the Nordic Center, 18 hole championship golf course, two on site restaurants and hiking trails and walking paths. Minutes from downtown Lake Placid’s restaurants, shops and attractions.

A quick note - the condo is ..a condo. It’s located within a building with a small amount of other units. Lots of shared space! You may see other people from the condo patio or hear a wedding taking place by the lake at the resort’s Moose Lodge (beautiful place to grab lunch, BTW). Groundskeeping and repair to common areas are things I don’t always know about and can’t impact timing. I’ll always let folks staying know what I know! But something to keep in mind when staying is this is a condo within a larger resort.

Unit was small, as indicated in the description, but well kept and very clean. It was a last minute trip for us, so we were grateful to get a place over the holidays. Although the tv was broken, the owner told us about it and we brought our own tv. Other than that minor issue, the views were beautiful and the condo is very convenient for winter sports.

There was a nice view of the lake from inside the condo. There was a bit too much snow to walk out back, but I'm sure better views would be had during less snow. The condo itself was very nice.

Beautiful views of the lake on a relaxing and quiet property. Close to everything! It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking or exploring the town of Lake Placid

Beautiful view and a short drive to downtown. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our family of 5. The only reason we didn’t give it a 5 was because the doors stuck making it hard to get in and out of rooms without waking others up and the mattress was really hard. If we. If we could give a 4.5, we would have.

Birthday Vacation!

Lovely place, beautiful views, far enough from downtown for relaxation, close enough for a quick trip. Kids loved the bunk beds and the quick access to the water to finish! Owners were great from start to finish, even after we left some items ant checkout and needed to return to grab them!

Perfect home base for skiing

Susanne's condo was a perfect home base for family skiing at Whiteface. It's located right on the lake and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town ... but super close to everything you need (grocery store, hardware store etc, etc). The kitchen is clean and organized, and has everything you need to cook.

Amazing property location!

We love visiting the Lake Placid area and this was our favorite place we've ever stayed. It was the perfect amount of space for a family of 5. The views from inside the condo were AMAZING!! You can see Lake Placid even from within the kitchen while cooking. I love the open concept of the kitchen/ dining/ living room. We hope to visit again!

Great place for family with teens.

Great location and peaceful mornings waking up to beautiful sunrise. Minutes to main town strip or to lake placid lax tournament Fields. Would come back whenever we could.

President Weekend Ski/Snowboarding Trip

Great location and amazing views!!!!!! Truly enjoyed our stay at Sussane's place. Condo was clean, had everything you needed (kitchen, bedrooms, bath, and in unit laundry). There is a fire place but i didn't us it. The only thing that needs update is the TV. Not big enough for me. Very quite at night. Stunning views of Lake Placid, special in the morning. About 25 min drive to Whiteface Ski Resort. 10 min drive to Lake Placid downtown. I will stay again if I have a chance. Thank you Susanne

Fantastic Getaway

Our stay experience far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was well appointed and felt plush. The host was friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable. The choice of furniture and decor were tasteful. Then there is the beautiful view at the back overlooking the lake and mountains. For getting around everything was close with a car. Lake Placid main street was cute especially with all the lights at night (Christmas time). Visiting the Olympic venues were a treat. And of course there is Whiteface mountain. All in all a lovely stay.

Great Stay

Our family enjoyed our time at this cozy condo! The views of the mountains and the sunrise were awesome! Our kids enjoyed playing in the water down at the lake. The condo had plenty of room for our family of four and having the two bathrooms was great. The condo was clean and felt comfortable. The location is close enough to town but away from the hustle of Main Street. We would recommend staying here and will stay here again when we visit Lake Placid.

Lake Placid always a win

Quick and easy rental. Owner assisted with everything from instructing us to purchase bundle of wood roadside on way up to rental to listing area adventures. Mud season is difficult time of year with vendor and activity closings, but there was plenty to keep us entertained. Views and property in ADK make for a great experience. Smiles all weekend.

Cozy cabin

Great family getaway.This condo was super clean.The kitchen was recently renovated and came out beautiful.We loved the wood burning fireplace and the beautiful view of Lake Placid and the mountains.Owner was great with communication.Our kids had 2 requests:Bigger TV with DVD/Blue ray player and bigger couch..Lol.We would definitely stay here again!

Great place

This was a great stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable, the the lakeside view was great, and the location was fantastic. The owner was also very helpful and responsive. I would rent here again.

Excellent getaway

This was a family getaway to relax and just enjoy being together and reminiscing our childhood days. It was clean and quiet and we enjoyed it. The sponsor was available and helpful for all our questions. I highly recommend her and the Condo.

Hi! I’m Susanne and the condo owner. After spending twenty two years in love with the Adirondacks, the decision was made to buy a place! I live in the Capital District area so have lots of opportunities to drive up the Northway to ski Whiteface, snowshoe, paddle, and hike the high peaks and fire towers. My sons grew up visiting the ADKs to ski, fish and swim. Many memories have been made - I hope they are for you, too!

It’s all about the views! The sunrises are so beautiful from the condo, it’s hard to sleep in! Walking 10 steps to the amazing patio or 35 to the water’s edge - is a real treat. The famous Jackrabbit cross country ski trail/hiking trail is on resort and hooks to the Brewster Peninsula trails - so convenient and hiking options for all levels. Resort path walking is another way I spend my time looking at the beautiful flower gardens and views - even a little waterfall. Eighteen hole championship golf course and pro shop are on site and yummy food at the restaurant on the green. The Village of Lake Placid is minutes away, with my sons’ favorite barbecue at Smoke Signals a must do dining. For me, it’s a visit to the bookstore and lunch at The Cottage on Mirror Lake. Even after this much time, I am still discovering new things to do and see in the area.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

It is what you need it to be! Spend the time sitting in the rocker by the window and the view, catching some sun or up early and climbing one of the 46 High Peaks…and everything in between! It’s a place for all seasons.
