Luxury Beach Front Condo in Beautiful Punta de Mita

This large, luxurious 3000 sqft condo is located right on the beach and offers 180 degree views of the beautiful north coast of the Bay of Banderas and Marietas Islands. The fifth floor balcony offers the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets and if in season, you can watch the whales jump in the ocean. Take the elevator downstairs to the 30+ yard swimming pool and jacuzzi or to take a walk on the white sandy beach. When you arrive you will be greeted with a large bottle of tequila and a generous allowance of beer. Drinkable water is available in 3 gallon bottles and there is soap and shampoo in all the bathrooms. We keep the patio doors open almost year round to take in the fresh ocean air and the crystalline blue ocean views. There are only 12 units in our building so we have a lot of privacy and security. The building is gated and guarded 24 hours a day. Most of the staff speak some English and Fabricio(Fabi), our manager, speaks English very well and will be happy to assist you in any way he can.

The condo is located 45 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport and a short walk from the center of Punta de Mita and many delicious ocean front restaurants.
We are just outside the gates of "the Village" where the Four Seasons and the St. Regis resorts and golf courses are located. We prefer it that way since being inside the town of Punta Mita offers a more authentic Mexican experience.
This fifth floor condo sleeps 4 adults in two king sized luxury bedrooms with newly upgraded air-conditioning in each bedroom suite as well as ocean views from each. You will sleep peacefully to the sound of the waves rolling onto the beach. These two master suites both have full en-suite bathrooms. In addition there are two more bathrooms, one is a powder room and the other is a 3/4 bathroom(shower only, no bath).
If you enjoy cooking you will have plenty of room to do so in the gourmet kitchen or you can hire a chef to do the work for you while you sip on a margarita and watch the pelicans swoop in and out of the ocean on their hunt for a tasty morsel of fish. The large living room features art by local artists and the entire condo has marble floors and granite/natural stone counter tops. Mix yourself a cocktail of your choice for you and your friends at the bar has which has an ice maker and beverage station. Around the corner is a large entertainment room with a pull out couch.

There are plenty of dinner options to choose from, depending on your mood and taste buds. At the harbor is a fisherman's coop where you can buy fish caught that very same day at great prices. Cook it on the BBQ grill out by the pool(which our friendly staff will clean up for you) or on the grill located on our deck. Or, after a short walk you will come upon restaurant row where you will find a wonderful array of fresh seafood served up in the many beachfront restaurants, each of which with their own personal touch. The service is personable and friendly. The local waitstaff will quickly figure out your favorite drinks and dishes, and go out of their way to make your experience unforgettable. If you're in the mood for something different there is Naef, a charming intimate French restaurant tucked away in the side streets of town where they have live music and serve delicious home made ice cream. At the far end of town close to the retail shops is Teresa's, a picturesque Italian place where they serve the best lasagna we've ever tasted. For something more casual try the street tacos at one of the many local spots dotted across town. If you feel liking staying closer to home, Ropi serves up his wonderful pizzas in his eclectic restaurant Casa del Pintor across the street. You will recognize it by the beautiful ceramic wall which was designed and built by Ropi himself. And of course, if you're worn out by the many sights and activities, or just from hanging out by the pool, there is always delivery by MitaEats.

There are plenty of activities , and there is something to do for anyone's taste. At the harbor or in town you can rent small boats called "pongas" to go fishing, snorkeling or sightseeing. Several outfits offer trips to the Marietas Islands with its famous Hidden Beach, or snorkeling or sight seeing tours. During December-March they will take you out to go whale watching. You can also rent jet skis and surfing boards. If you are a golfer you will find a Greg Norman designed golf course less than 8 minutes away from the condo. At Vista Paraiso they offer ATV tours, horseback riding and zip lining. They will even come pick you up in town. For the shoppers amongst you there are cute boutiques that line the town, or a Sunday market in Nuevo Vallarta, a town about 30 minutes away where you can buy art, food and listen to local bands. About 15 minutes away you will find the quaint town of Sayulita, world famous for its surfing beach and full of cute shops and restaurants.
Of course kicking back and taking it easy is always an option as well! Get a massage on the beach for just $50 or just lay out by the pool and soak up the warm sun.

We offer free of charge two boogie boards, four life jackets and a paddle board. The paddle board is kept downstairs and Fabricio can get it out for you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: Do I need to rent a car?
A: You can, but it is not necessary and we would not recommend it. You can hire a taxi or arrange with Fabi to have a car pick you up from the airport. It is about a 45 min drive depending upon traffic. The cost is $100 and $140 if you need to stop at the grocery store. The village starts at about 300-400 yards down the beach where there is a taxi stand to take you wherever you want to go.

Q: Is the property located inside "the Gates" -i.e. part of the Four Seasons/St. Regis development?
A: No, we are located less than 1/2 mile away from the entrance to this property. We are on the beach on the south side of the village of Punta de Mita.

Q: Is there maid service?
A: We provide 2 cleanings per week, if you need more additional cleanings are available at a cost of $30/cleaning.

Q: Can I hire a chef/cook?
A. Yes, Fabi can set this up for you and advise you of the cost.

Q: Is there a hospital in town?
A: Yes, there is a fully equipped hospital at the entrance to Punta de Mita

Q: How can I obtain a Covid test before I leave?
A: There are several ways:
1. You can go to Punta Mita Hospital and schedule a test, they will email the results to you. Cost is about $40
2. There is testing at the Puerto Vallarta Airport, make sure you leave yourself enough time if you choose that option.
3. A doctor can come to the condo, do a test on you and email you the results. Cost was $90 last time we checked.
4. United has an at home test which you can do yourself in the condo-you will need to order the test yourself and bring it with you.
