Austin’s largest VRBO Penthouse in the heart of historic Rainey street. Have a glass of wine with the ladies while enjoying breathtaking views from either of the two balconies. Furnished by Austin’s global design winning studio - Four Hands - the space is relaxing, warm, comforting and modern. So many options to consider while relaxing on the sofa or having a cup of coffee in the dining area to include reading a good book, streaming a show on the 75” TV, listening to the Sonos music system, or enjoying the views through the floor to ceiling windows.

While the optimal guest count is 4-6 guests, the unit has the ability to flex up and host 12-13 guests. All mattresses are very comfortable ( no fold out sofa’s here) 1 king, 2 Queen and 4 ($1200) twin roll out beds. ** undisclosed overnight guests are billed at $150 per person per night. Please make sure guest count is correct. If you are planning an event- let’s discuss.

A few reasons why spending a little extra to stay in the heart of Austin and avoid horrific hours waiting in traffic / hunting for parking. We strongly advise taking the 15 minute uber from the airport. Valet parking is available but pricey and street parking is difficult to find… truth told - there is little need for a car.

You are steps away from Austin's best nightlife and more than 30 restaurants, town lake & nearby museums. Brunch, lunch, dinner are literally a few steps away along with a small but plentiful grocery store should you choose to stay in and test your chef skills.

It’s a 3-5 minute walk on Rainey street or alongside the lake and you will arrive Van Zandt / 4 seasons for a great brunch or speakeasy cocktail.

No info on check in, including accurate address and directions of how to check in, until close to check in time the day of our stay. Host communication was normally pretty timely, but as we got closer to the stay it was very delayed.

Host is misleading people. The address on the listing is not the address of the property. Listed as 3 bedrooms, only 2. Internet didn’t work. Lights and ceiling fans wouldn’t respond to remotes. Not all the curtains would go up. Never received check in instructions. Horrible host!!!

Walking times are fictitious. It’s 25 min to the Moody Center16 min to convention center22 min to 6th street per . As previous reviews mentioned, that were dismissed, iNone of these TV’s would work. I have the same TV’s at home. I have pics. I notified owner who said he sent a friend over while we’re out to fix it but it still didn’t work. Never worked while we were here. Host didn’t seem concerned or helpful. One blind worked in the living room. As many previous guests complained only to be ignored, the wall controls weren’t working. Ceiling fan in guest bedroom as previously reported, still not working. Guest room TV remote missing. Ice machine listed in amenities not working. Bring ice and water as the fridge ice maker and filtered water inoperative. Toilet paper holder guest bath falls off. Primary bedroom shades not working and bathroom door doesn’t lock. As reported, diverter knob for shower completely missing, it’s not user error as host suggested. It’s flat missing. Light bulb in guest bedroom nightstand lamp gone. Marks on walls, chipped paint. I communicated all this to the host who fixed none of it and didn’t seem concerned. When you charge premium prices you need to have it together. This was not what was expected for the money. Several repeat complaints with the owner downplaying it. This could be a gem with a little care. The views and location were the only good things about this place. Need instruction book for all the gadgets

The accommodations were a little disappointing. We are a group of 5 50 friends who have been traveling together for 20 years. The listing indicates 3 bedrooms, but it is really 2 bedrooms an alcove with a Murphy bed. There were a couple of items I messaged the owner about that were not acknowledged and/or rectified during our stay. The most important was the fact that the shower in the second bathroom was unable to be used due to a missing knob/button. Other issues included the fact that none of the electronic blinds worked. The primary bedroom blinds were unable to be opened. The second bedroom and living room blinds were unable to be closed. Also, the ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom did not work, but there was a floor fan in the closet. I messaged the owner about these issues but did not receive a response about the blinds or ceiling fan. He responded about the shower, but no one came to take care of it. The last night of our stay, we intended to stay in, order in and watch a movie, only to discover that neither WiFi option worked for us to cast or use any of the apps, so we didn’t have access to any of the tvs in the unit. Since we hadn’t received a response from the owner on the other issues, I didn’t even try to get this issue resolved. The unit and view are lovely and the building is in a great location but the problems we encountered put a damper on our overall enjoyment of the weekend especially considering the total cost of the unit.

Lovely unit.

Excellent views, very clean. No complaints. Close to everything downtown. Comfortable, good amount of space for the 5 of us.

Top Notch Views

Little did I know we booked a penthouse for my daughter’s birthday…. Maybe I did and wasn’t paying attention. Not complaining at all. The views we got upon arrival are jaw dropping!! The only thing above you is the rooftop pool. Just wow. We didn’t get a lot of information before hand like where to park or what to do.. it’s like a hotel in a lot of ways. There is a check in desk where you get your keys and a lovely coffee house next to the lobby. I suggest parking on the street.. it’s free after hours anyways until the morning. Or you can pay for valet. The condo is exceptionally decorated - top notch. I giggled finding all the extra rollaway beds, pink bachelorette cowgirl hats in the closet etc. thinking of all the fun this place has.. there are lovely touches that speak to women like curling irons in both bathrooms.. etc. I will say there are a few drawbacks.. you can tell this is a popular place to book as there is obvious wear.. There’s also A LOT of buttons for every room.. Buttons for all the light options.. fan options.. floor to ceiling curtain options.. multiple remotes. it can get confusing.. And maybe cleaning service overlooked it.. but there was only one roll we had to share between the 2 bathrooms. Minor things when you realize the incredible experience you’ll have just staying here.

Concert trip

Nice place with a great view. There was a scheduling issue with having the place cleaned but the owners resolved it quickly by having the cleaning crew come by. They were very friendly and did excellent work.

Great property

This property was great and provided everything our group needed for a few days. The unit was clean and very updated. Great first impression when you first walk in. All instructions are fairly clear as well. The view over the river and city were amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Don’t trust Vrbo or the listing

Listing has wrong address. We went to address listed and were given another address to go to for check in. We arrived and the reservation wasn’t in my name or in anyone’s name within our group. Host said this is a three bedroom unit. In reality it is a two bedroom unit only two private bedrooms he lists the third as the Murphy bed in a hallway. That’s not a bedroom! Further he claimed he has video of more than our group of 8 entering and sent it to Vrbo but Vrbo stated they received no such video. Please be very careful if you book here. If something walks like a duck and talks like a duck it’s a duck- nothing about dealing with this host and Vrbo felt right or safe. We managed to get out and enjoy the pol and surroundings but not seeing a video he claims he has suggests there’s a video camera in the living space and not just outside at the door. Stay away from this listing and Vrbo! We will never book again with Vrbo! We have waited two weeks now for answers and results on this video the host said he has- why hasn’t he produced it???? Is it compromising the girls that stayed in this unit????

Bachelorette HQ

PERFECT spot for a bachelorette party. Pool with awesome views and plenty of space upstairs, and a bar/coffee shop in the lobby. Bartenders were wicked cool, and Dallas (the vrbo host) is also awesome. Bonus points for donating all uneaten food to the homeless. 10/10.

Exceptional Penthouse

The place was lovely and comfortable. We especially loved the views. It was furnished with everything we needed and we felt right at home.
