Incredibly decorated with soaring ceilings, 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, private pool (can be heated up to 86-degrees for $50 per night), hot tub, and game room with arcade. With new furniture, decor, and smart TVs throughout, this beach house will bring your family memories for years to come. This home has three floors for your family to enjoy and includes an elevator -- no stairs to climb!

The location could not be more perfect…located in the highly desirable WhaleHead neighborhood, you are less than 2 minutes to shops, restaurants, and shopping, yet far enough for privacy during your beach retreat. From the crow's nest, you'll enjoy 360-degree views of the ocean, sound, and Corolla lighthouse. Watch breathtaking sunrises over the ocean and incredible sunsets over the sound. A quick four-minute walk puts you on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

We had another wonderful stay at this property! The home was exactly as described, with a great layout that worked perfectly for our family. The pool was warm, and the house was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable week-long stay. This was our second time staying here, which speaks for itself. We always enjoy our time at this property and are already looking forward to planning our next trip. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a great place. We have rented several times at OBX, and this was the best. The house was perfect...sleeping accomodations, kitchen provisions, the elevator, the pool, the gas grill, and plenty of room for our party of 9. Located in a very quiet neighborhood with a quick walk to the beach, and a parking lot when needed (Sailfish beach) it was all good. Nick is a gem...responding very quickly, and accommodating to all requests where possible. We also rented a 6-passenger golf cart which was great bringing beach equipment (and passengers if needed) back and forth to beach and elsewhere locally. The house was clean, cool and very user friendly...highly recommend! Thanks again Nick for making our family vacation a wonderful experience.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. The elevator was a major asset as we had a grandfather who has limited mobility. The house had everything we needed and shopping and activities were close. We hope to be back next year!

Overall we really loved our vacation at this home. It was an easy walk to the beach. The home was spacious and comfortable, the two refrigerators /freezers were super helpful in accommodating all of the food our family accumulated through the week. The AC unit worked well to keep the whole house cool, which was super important given how hot it was. The bedding and linen all appeared clean.Some areas for inprovement:1. While not egregiously dirty, the home was not cleaned thoroughly when we arrived. I had to scrub our bathroom sink and floors to get rid of grime that was obviously accumulated over an extended period of time. The kitchen floor felt sandy w/ visible dust. We actually purchased a mop to clean the floors more thoroughly. The basement shower had visible rust/soap scum.2. There was minimal hot water available at any one time. You had to be very strategic about when you showered. The shower head in the one bathroom also wouldn't stay straight3. The TV in one of the bedrooms would not stay on. Kept turning itself off.4. The kitchen supplies (ie food storage containers) was suboptimal. A larger variety of baking /cooking pans would be nice.5. Some of the furniture (especially outdoor) was in rough shape.

Great house! Elevator was awesome.

We loved nearly everything about this house. From the 2 master bedrooms to many outdoor games and beach items in this house we had a blast.

Probably the best communication from a host we’ve ever encountered. The cleaning crew was slacking but at no blame to the host. Perfect stay otherwise.

Wonderful place to celebrate with friends!

The house is lovely, clean, spacious and located very close to the beach and shops! The owners are so responsive and thorough. As the trip coordinator, I greatly appreciated that! We had a lovely time celebrating the year of all of us turning 60!

Quiet escape

Our stay was great. Nick was always quick to respond. Pool was great. Hot tub jets didnt go up to full power, but was still nice to chill in. Crows nest gave beautiful sunset views. Would return:)Only things I would suggest is a wagon to take things to the beach and a scrubber tool to clean off the grill after use/prior to use.

Everything we needed in a great location….

Our family of 11 ranging from 8-71 had a wonderful time! Nick and Sarah are fantastic communicators and go above and beyond to ensure that questions are answered and whatever helpful tips they can provide, are given. The elevator was clutch and the beach was just a few minutes by foot. There were chairs for use, a wagon and shade provided, and the house itself had everything we needed with just the right amount of space to accommodate us. The pool was great, and although not used, the hot tub is a nice addition. We were so close to shops, restaurants, wild horse tours and water sport rentals. If I may say so, Big Bucks ice cream is the BEST, and Emory at Back Country Safari tours is incredibly knowledgeable and fun. Great vacay!

Beautiful stay

My family and I stayed at this property for a week. Nick and Sarah had excellent communication and responded promptly before and during our stay. The house was beautiful, the pool was a good size, a shopping center was close by and the beach wasn’t too far away. The walk from the house to the beach was about an 8 minute walk at a moderate pace. The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars all around was because some of the sheets on the bed looked dirty.

Vacation rental

The vacation home itself was very nice and accommodated all our needs. The maintenance to the outside of the property could be improved as there was trash on the ground around the back of the property, and it appeared that it had not been picked up from prior rentals. Also, the distance to the beach is rather Inconvenient if you have any physical problems walking distances. Our group particularly enjoyed the arcade.

Beautiful Home with everything you need for a great vacation!

The house was impeccable, the hosts extremely kind and responsive. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful time. Th kitchen is very well equipped with two a Coffee bar. I think my adult children were most excited about that. We had a member of our group with a physical limitation, so having an elevator was wonderful!! If you stay at this home you will have a wonderful, relaxing and comfortable vacation. Recommend 10/10 and we have been going on an annual vacation to beach/lake homes for 16 years so I know of what i speak, :-)

Family beach vacay

Overall lovely home. A couple issues with the pool being not heated on arrival and lack of garbage bags. We had a group of 10 staying for 4 nights eating at the home mostly so the garbage filled up quickly. Communicated with the owner and he said we had the one bag, right? Yes but we went through that day one and so we.went to the store for more house supplies. Feel that should be included. Overall good home though with quick access to beach.

Decompression time

Every year a group from my company gets together with some family members and we rent a house. Summer is our busy season and we're getting ready to go into or slower time so this is our way to decompress. We are a group of all ages and we have a blast doing this. This home was perfect for what we needed. You cannot go wrong renting this home. The host on top of everything. They go way above and beyond if you have a problem. Cannot rave about this place enough.
