Great Place

This place was great. We were looking for a place close to other family members staying up in Dollar Point for the holidays. This place had everything we needed.

Good inexpensive place

Pros: clean; convenient; inexpensive; pet friendly; totally functional. Cons: cramped and a little badly organized layout; road noise from highway; cheap stuff (utensils, sheets, furniture); some grouchy neighbors.

Awesome ski cabin!

Our family really enjoyed our time at this place. It was the perfect size for a family of four, great location for skiing palisades, close to restaurants, but still had the feeling of being in a serene environment. We loved the pool table and hot tub after hitting the slopes all day. I wish there were a few more kitchen items (blender for making soup, oil, salt!) but overall the kitchen was well stocked.

Very efficient!

Small but has everything you need. We had two couples and a 5 yro and one small dog. The place was small but worked great for a two night trip. The kitchen is reasonably stocked. Heat worked great. The upstairs bedroom was a loft open to below. The cleaning was ok - not gross, but a good deep clean would take this place from great to excellent.

The upstairs fan was badly out of balance so it shook all night. Only one window far away upstairs to help try and cool it. But it is a quaint cabin with an excellent kitchen. The stay was nice just warm upstairs.

Hi there James, Oh no—I’m so sorry about the upstairs fan. That must have been awful, and we truly had no idea. That condo stays incredibly busy, and I can only guess the weather had just turned warm enough to need the fan the weekend you were here, and we completely missed it during inspection. For that, I sincerely apologize. Thank you so much for bringing it to our attention—we’ve already placed a work order, and it’s been fixed! I’m glad to hear you still enjoyed the space and the kitchen, and we’d truly love to welcome you back. And next time, if anything feels off during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We send pre-arrival instructions and even do a mid-stay check-in to make sure everything’s going smoothly—my team is always just a call or message away. Best, Jenny W. Great, easy getaway

Stayed for 3 nights. Home was incredibly clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable and everything was comfy for our family! Parking was easy and felt very safe. Pool was clean and simple to access. Property managers were thorough and very pleasant to work with. Location has good access to both Tahoe City and Kings Beach. There is a biking path across the street if you bring your bikes. Great bakery Sugar Pine Cakery for coffee and delicious breakfast burritos, pastry, coffee, etc - nearby. Home was quiet- although there is some road noise that we barely noticed. There is a grill and plenty of dish-ware, pots, pans, cutlery. The complex is very quiet and a mix of mostly year rounders with some short term rentals. All the people we met were friendly and helpful. We hope to stay again someday.

Tahoe city

The condo was very nice. The master bed is only a full size. Too small for us. And it got quite warm in the loft. No ac is a bummer on hot days. And there is NO hair dryer. Other than that it was in a perfect location and the back deck was amazing to bbq and hang out. And there’s a doggie door! There is one snotty neighbor who told me not to let my dogs go in “ her yard”. It’s an HOA and it was common area. I obliged and walked away. Everyone else was very nice!

We enjoyed our visit here. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking pans and table settings. Everything was clean except for the family room rug that had dirt clumped on it when we arrived. We had to vacuum it because they clearly hadn’t but the rest of the inside was very clean. The outside deck was covered in yellow droppings from the trees and I had to go clean all the furniture and sweep the whole deck. It would have been nice if the cleaning people would have done that as well. You couldn’t use it until it was cleaned off. It was really bad! The condo was so nicely decorated and the upstairs bathroom was big and lovely. We really did enjoy the location and close proximity to Tahoe City downtown. The bike path took us there easily with our electric bikes. It would be a more challenging ride on regular bikes. We liked our stay a lot!

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, especially the well-stocked kitchen, the décor, the spacious upstairs bathroom, and the convenient location near Tahoe City. It sounds like you had a wonderful time exploring the area by bike! We sincerely apologize that the family room rug and deck were not in the condition they should have been upon your arrival. That is not the standard we strive to provide, and we've shared your comments with our housekeeping team so they can give both the interior and outdoor spaces the attention they deserve. Thank you again for your feedback. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to welcome you back to Tahoe soon! Best, Jenny W. Guest Relations Manager

Great off beach location

Nice complex with access right off main street. Small condo, the bunk beds could use some new mattresses, but other than that, no main complaints. Great access to all the towns and the lake.

Convenient and pretty comfortable

It was a good location and it was spacious enough for our family of 4. It was clean enough and a short ride or drive to Tahoe City. It had plenty of pots and pans to cook with but make sure to bring your own seasonings. There was just a smidge of salt and pepper left. The bunk beds were uncomfortable, so much so my kids complained the futon mattress that was on the top bunk was lumpy and hard. I felt it and it was pretty bad. We had to add our own foam pad we had and extra blankets to improve it. No AC so it was very warm inside. I was told there would be two fans and there is only one in the loft. At night it was warm and even with the windows open there isn’t good air circulation. It was in the 80s inside at night . The dishwasher worked but the bottom rack was annoying as it would fall off the track every time you pulled it out. We ate at home a lot so that was irritating. The dog park is a woodchip field overgrown with cattails.
