Mt. Gilead Sunrise- Country Suite close to wineries, breweries & wedding venues

This private one bedroom unit is the perfect quiet, country getaway with a beautiful sunrise for all seasons. The property is located right in the heart of Loudoun's Wine Country. A cozy one bedroom suite that can accommodate up to 4 guests. The suite includes 1 bedroom (king bed), living area (with queen sleep sofa), fully equipped kitchen, and 1 full bath with heated floors.

The suite is attached to the primary residence, however, you will have sole access to the single point of entry into the suite. The host will be available as much or as little as you need!

Amenities include Keurig coffee maker (with K-cups and creamer/sugar), smart TV, wifi, private entrance, and washer/dryer. Also included are bath towels, laundry detergent, bottled water, and light snacks. Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of the rolling pastures on the suite's private patio.

Enjoy the spa-like bathroom with luxurious heated flooring. Relax and unwind in the spacious shower with rain shower head. We have extra toiletries should you find that you need some for your stay.

We are located close to local wineries, such as Stone Tower Winery, Three Creeks, and The Barns. We are also close to wedding venues including Stone Tower Winery, Shadow Creek, Birkby House and Zion Springs.

Additional attractions include various breweries, the W & OD Bike trail, hiking trails, historical Harper's Ferry, and a quick 60 minute drive to visit Washington D.C.!

This was our second time staying at MGS and it’s still absolutely beautiful. Al and Nancy’s attention to every small detail makes this place a home away from home. The sunrises never disappoint either. Can’t wait to come again soon.

Extraordinary location and place in the Virginia countryside. The suite was very clean, well decorated and nicely stock with everything we needed. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay and explore some wineries, this would be the place to book. My wife and I have stayed at several VRBO locations over the years and this once is far the best one yet.

We stayed at Mt. Gilead Sunrise for 5 days to attend a family wedding. It was above and beyond our expectations. The hosts have thought of everything you might need from extra toiletries to the most comfortable furnishings.The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful, relaxing vacation to stay here! We spent two days touring the museums in DC and it was so nice to come home to Mt. Gilead Sunrise!

Awesome weekend getaway

The property was great. Very clean and even better than the photos. Was conveniently located right outside of downtown Leesburg and local wineries. We enjoyed the wildlife and rural feel of all the beautiful farms but close enough to plenty to do! Nancy and Al add plenty of little touches to make your stay feel even more welcome. Would definitely recommend!

If Mt.Gilead Sunrise is available, jump on it! My BFF and I were looking for a weekend away close the DMV. The location could not have been better! We hit the spa at Landsdowne, hiked in Sweet Run State Park, ate downtown at Tuscarora Mill, enjoyed the views and wine at Stone Tower Winery, did some damage at the outlets, and still had time to chill and catch both a sunrise and sunset at Mt Gilead. The unit is absolutely perfect! Updated with furnishings that are exactly on point while being comfortable and homey. Nancy provided us with all of the information we needed and was available for questions, but the place is so well stocked we wanted for nothing. We would unreservedly recommend this lovely getaway!Erika O.

Birthday weekend, Virginia wine country

Mary and I have stayed at quite a few VRBO's and this was by far the best, from the high quality of the accommodations, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I received a birthday card, bottle of wine, birthday cupcakes, there were fresh flowers in every room, the bedding was amazing, a generous supply of snacks and drinks and the place was tastefully decorated for the Easter season.

One of the best VRBO locations ever!

This VRBO unit was very well designed, tastefully decorated and was furnished with everything you would want or need! The owner's included fresh fruit, milk, eggs, bagels, butter and more for breakfast and of course a bottle of wine and lots of snacks. The surroundings are lovely in farm country about seven miles from Leesburg. We stayed three nights and will definitely plan on returning. Bill and Sandy

Exceptional property!

The location was serene and lovely, the rental was clean and beautiful with a lot of extras. Enjoyed seeing horses in the pasture and deer along the woods. We loved our time there! Owner and rental was top notch!

Perfect anniversary getaway

We were looking for an anniversary getaway and our cousin planned their wedding on the same week! This suite fit the bill for us to enjoy both and experience the local amenities in a far more relaxing environment. Everything was exceptional and we hope to plan a return sometime.

What a gorgeous place to stay! It looks brand new and was so well appointed. The owners thought of everything! It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s what we loved about it. Beautiful sunrises and a beautiful view of the horse farm! Close to numerous wineries and breweries and we enjoyed riding the backroads to see the beautiful countryside. Couldn’t find a single negative for our stay. Highly recommend!

Exceptional Stay with Thoughtful Touches

Al and Nancy's property is outstanding. The space was immaculately clean and displayed exceptional attention to craftsmanship. The decor was tastefully chosen, enhancing the overall ambiance. The property was equipped with extra amenities that are rarely found in typical rentals. These thoughtful touches make their place one of the best accommodations I've ever experienced.

Warm and welcoming

From the moment we drove up to Mt. Gilead Sunrise we felt welcome with the outdoor patio and decor. The warmth continued as we opened the door and found fresh flowers a note and snacks to greet us. Nancy thought of everything from blankets to a nightlight in the bathroom and lights on the patio to breakfast provisions. Highly recommend!!!!!

Perfect in every way

We were visiting the Middleburg/Leesburg area in celebration of my mom’s birthday. The Mt. Gilead suite was perfect in every way. Nancy and Al have thought of everything you need to feel at home and then some. It was so comfortable, clean and welcoming. The instructions were absolutely on point and the home was centrally located to all of the many activities in the area. We are already planning our next trip. We especially appreciated the cozy Christmas decor. Thank you so very much! A must stay.

Weekend away

This is a beautiful place that had anything you could possibly need to feel at home. We were greeted with homemade pumpkin raisin bread and a bottle of Rose from one of the nearby wineries. The pictures online don’t do the place justice. And the sunrises? Breathtaking! Even had a herd of deer frolicking in the pasture for one sunrise. Our main goals were to relax, unwind and hit as many wineries as we could. The location is perfectly situated between several clusters of wineries. And when we came back after our tastings the kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice meal. Hoping to make this an annual event and look forward to staying here again. Thank you Nancy and Al for a wonderful weekend away!

Beautiful getaway in the country!

Wow! What a beautiful property away from the hustle and bustle. The suite was pristine and had everything I needed for my stay. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates, cups, silverware, etc. The suite is attached to the owner’s home, but feels totally separate with your own private entrance. It was very nicely decorated and the sunrise view was spectacular. The property is a hidden gem, and is a short 15 minute drive to wonderful restaurants, wineries, and breweries. I did not have any issues during my stay, but the host was very responsive to any questions I had. I would highly recommend staying at Mt. Gilead Sunrise and hope to be back!

Beyond Expectations!

Please do not hesitate to stay at Mt Gilead Sunrise! I cannot begin to describe how wonderful our stay was at this lovely property. The decor, cleanliness and thoughtfulness of the hosts to care for their guests was incredible! Extra surprises were through out the apartment from snacks and coffee to multiple towels and a sound machine if needed! The view was beautiful and quiet! Just a few minutes into downtown Leesburg for restaurants and shops. We were within close proximity to multiple wineries and breweries along with several historical sites. Nancy and Al were amazing hosts. Gave us our privacy but we knew if we needed anything, we could easily reach out to them. Honestly I feel they may have spoiled us from ever enjoying another VRBO as much as Mt Gilead Sunrise!
