Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this review. As a vacation rental owner I take all feedback extremely seriously especially if it is negative. My goal is to ensure that your stay with us is as memorable as possible. With the last year, I replaced quality but older LCD TV's with the new Samsung High Definition LED's and HD boxes. I also replaced our existing front loading washer and dryer with top of the line LG units with full electronic controls costing over $5,500 altogether. I allow my guests use of these appliances. Many of my competitors do not allow their guests to use their washer and dryer and instead refer them to the closest laundromat. I never have had any comments before regarding the front door mat. Nevertheless, it was replaced immediately. I do have two 42 inch flat screen LED Samsung TV's. The TV in the main room is on a 4 foot high quality TV stand and is glued to the stand. An adult cannot dislodge it. The other in the bedroom is on a five foot high chest of drawers. A "capable toddler" would not be able to reach either TV much less tip them over. Having said that I have secured safety straps to both TVs. The sliding glass door does have a crack in it. I have a new glass door on order and it should be in place within a month. I do have five Rottweilers. They are all top quality AKC Champion and Grand Champion dogs. If they were truly vicious, they would not be allowed to participate in any AKC show. If they have a fault, it is that they are friendly beyond belief. Many of my guests ask to take pictures of the dogs. They are on my top deck from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM after which they are secured at the back of the property in overnight kennels. My dogs are kept in secure areas 24 hours a day and are never allowed to roam loose and intermingle with any people including my vacation rental guests. While it is possible that they growled at each other, they have never growled at a person ever. The guests did have a valid complaint about the dog hair in the washer. I did wash a dog blanket that evening using the "Hot Sanitary Cycle with Clorox." The guests arrived at 9:30 PM and immediately started using the washer even though my posted hours are from 7:00 AM to 7;00 PM. I had forgotten to clean the front door gasket of the washer and for this I apologize. I now check the washer daily for lint and debris as the gaskets in front loading washers are especially susceptible to retaining lint and hair. Thank you
