Tallahatchie Townhouse | Downtown ON the Tanglefoot

This jewel sits ON the Tanglefoot Trail in New Albany, Mississippi. Downtown restaurants and bars, coffee shops, and boutiques are very short (0.4 mi.) stroll up the Tanglefoot Trail! This single family home (not a duplex) has been exquisitely restored to its original outside character and beautifully renovated and decorated on the interior. Vist Ole Miss and Elvis' birthplace in neighboring towns of Oxford and Tupleo, or visit William Faulkner's birthplace and museum in New Albany!

The space
The Tallahatchie Townhouse is designed with a contemporary interior but still carries the old charm on the exterior. The yard that surrounds the entire home with parking for 2-3 cars in the front and parking for 1 car on the side pad. Plus, additional parking in the back, if needed. The entire property is very spacious and open. Included in your stay is complimentary access to Netflix, Smart TVs in all bedrooms & living room, and the only listing in New Albany that is located ON the Tanglefoot Trail. Enjoy a glass of wine, or just relax, on the spacious front porch or back yard.
Guest access
Guest are permitted to access and enjoy all areas of the house. Parking in New Albany is abundant, so you can park and walk around the Downtown area during your stay or easily drive anywhere in New Albany. It's very easy to get around!

Like most other Airbnbs in New Albany, the Tallahatchie Townhouse is located in a developing neighborhood. Since the development of the Tanglefoot Trail, there has been a lot of growth in the neighborhood. Our caretakers live next door, and we have several other properties in the neighborhood. So, you may see some houses and buildings under re-developement.

If you're looking to move to New Albany, there is a very nice, new development across the Tanglefoot Trail and to the right (if you're standing on the front porch of the Tallahatchie Townhouse).

Guests will receive a unique access code prior to check-in on the day-of their arrival. The Tallahatchie Townhouse is stocked with fresh linens and towels, as well as complimentary laundry detergent, bleach, and dryer sheets. If guests need any additional items or have any questions, please feel free to contact me anytime before or during your stay. It is my pleasure to be your host!

The living room and both bedrooms have a flat screen tv with YouTube TV installed and logged in so you can watch live television.

Overall, happy with the property and serve the purpose while visiting for work. The property is located in kind of a rundown area of the city, but definitely is the nicest of the properties in the area. Walking trail right across the property. Definitely an older home but well kept. Home was renovated and I definitely recommend staying in the front bedroom due to the mattress being much more comfortable. Close to downtown, which has a handful of very nice restaurants, including a FroYo place. A good place to stay close to the Toyota Plant.

I was in the area for a very good friends wedding. I had planned on doing her hair where I was going to stay. It looked bigger in the pictures. It is a very cozy place, furniture is comfortable, however, if you are vertically challenged you will need a step stool to get in the beds. All in all, it was clean and very cozy

What a great place to stay if you are using the bike trail. Extremely clean and plenty of room. Very close to town. Two nice size bedrooms with full baths was a plus. Host very accessible. Would highly recommend.

Great Place in New Albany

There were three of us and the house was perfect in size. Small, modest kitchen but highly adequate. Loved that there is no carpet in the house and can see it was very clean. Smelled nice, too. We walked into town everyday. Was great. Overall, New Albany is one of the nicest places we have visited. People very friendly and welcoming.

Left Minnesota for a week in New Albany

The house was clean, and very cute. We had everything that we needed. The one bathroom had no doors on shower, so water splashed.. we temporarily hung a curtain and used towels on floor. Unfortunately, the 3 "smart" tv's did not work for us. We do not have Netflex password, so we could not watch a single thing all week. We expected to watch local news, weather, etc. and shows but could not get any of them to work. Owners were out of town and no one could help us. That was very frustrating. Other than no tvs, our stay would have been perfect. Cute little house, and recommend anyway.

We very much enjoyed this property. It was spotless, beds and seating were comfortable, rooms had plenty of space, and hosts responded quickly to a couple of questions we had. Very nice place to stay!

Best staycation

It was a great spot for a long-term stay, and we'd definitely love to come back if we get the chance. Maybe a comfier bed in the second room would be a nice touch, but overall, we had a relaxing and peaceful stay.

Weekend getaway

What a gem. Extremely clean and well kept comfortable property. Access to the tanglefoot trail was perfect, as was the proximity to the cutest downtown area. We enjoyed a weekend away from our kids and a casual ride on the trail. There was plenty of space for more than just us and we could easily imagine coming back with our kids to take them riding also! Thank you!

Property is a perfect girlfriend getaway

My friend and i each had a bedroom and bathroom. There is a nice seating area for visiting. Some creamer and sweeteners for the coffee would have been great.

Awesome Stay

The property was advertised as listed online. Clean place and very cozy for a stay away from home. The entire townhouse was very tidy and the bedrooms were very spacious with comfortable bedding and mattresses. Host was very responsive in request.

Cute place!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and very cute. The owner was easy to contact and very flexible. We loved being so close to downtown and enjoyed walking on the trail in the morning.
