Located just a short distance to restaurants, bars, boutiques and all the town has to offer. Guests of Dogwood Creek will enjoy being walking distance from Downtown Saugatuck. With close proximity to Oval Beach and Lake Michigan as well. Summer is a wonderful time of year in Saugatuck but there is a ton to do in the Winter months as well. With the areas phenomenal trails you can hike, snow shoe, or cross country ski the area and experience Saugatuck in its quieter months with the sparkling snow twinkling atop the dunes.

The space
This gorgeous home boasts three beautiful bedrooms with two master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and free standing tubs. The formal dining room has seating for eight for those nights you may want to stay on the property to grill out on the charcoal grill(BYOCharcoal). While the grill is going why not try your hand at a game of bocce ball, a little bit of healthy competition to get the blood pumpin'! There are various seating areas throughout the home, feel out your mood and take your pick. Looking for a fresh breeze and a woodsy view? Relax on the screened in porch. Looking to cozy up with a cup of tea and a book? Relax by the fireplace in the sitting room. The yard is a very special place. With mature trees and little seating areas scattered throughout you can relax by the fire for late night chats and bevies.

Two kayaks are available for use. They require a means to be transported to and from the property. Upon check in we will provide you with a location for the local boat launch.

Feel free to bike or with bike rental available in the downtown Saugatuck area you can enjoy your time at Dogwood traveling locally via bicycle. There are a couple different safe ways to the beach. Take a 20 minute ride up to Saugatuck Dunes State Park where you can lock up your bike and head into the trees for a little hike to the beach. There is also the famous Oval Beach, ride your beach cruiser over to the Saugatuck Chain Ferry for a little shortcut to the other side of the Kalamazoo River. From there you can ride your bike through the rolling hills right to Oval Beach. This trip takes about 15 minutes and is a very scenic route.



Please review our cancellation policy from our rental agreement below as our cancellation policy varies ever so slightly from those on some booking platforms. Our rental agreement is included prior to completing your reservation and will supersede the cancellation policies listed on some booking sites.

Cancellation Policy: We hope you never will need to cancel your time away, but in the event that you do, Cancellations between 7-14 days will result in a 50% forfeiture of total reservation. Cancellation within 7 days prior to check in will result in a 100% forfeiture of the total reservation. We recommend securing your trip with a travel insurance company should you need to cancel your reservation outside of the allotted window.
