Lovely Farmhouse with beautiful views

Near the Great Smoky Mountains National park, close to Townsend, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg this completely remodeled farmhouse has beautiful views looking down the valley and of the adjacent mountains.

Relax in the jacuzzi to watch the sunset after a long day in the park or on a river adventure.

Bordered by a small stream, there is a grove of fruit trees and a picturesque old shed as well as lots of space for frisbee or playing catch. We love this house because of the wrap around porch, beautiful sunrises and sunsets and the very quiet farming area, with rooster calls and cows mooing. Fireflies rise up on summer nights in the huge open fields behind the house.

There are two bedrooms and two baths downstairs, two bedrooms and one bath upstairs in a converted attic that are cozy and not sized for people over 6' tall.

Family Christmas 2024

Family Vaca

If you have kids and want a place for them to explore. This is the rental for you! The kids had a blast exploring the property, playing air hockey and relaxing in the hot tub. The farmhouse had plenty of room for us all to spread out. My favorite part was the big farmhouse table where we enjoyed our meals. The beds were comfortable as well. Joe and Patty were great at responding quickly when we had any questions.

Smokey mountain Getaway

The country atmosphere and the mountain views were amazing. The closeness to the park can't be beat. The house was clean and very spacious. Would love to come back again!

Great family-friendly farmhouse.

This is our second stay at the farmhouse! The kitchen is very well equipped We appreciate all the amenities and kid-friendly toys and environment. The large, flat yard is a big plus.

Home Away from Home

So quiet and peaceful. The apple orchard was like walking back in time. Truly a farmhouse and the kind I want to go back to. Everything we needed with plenty of space for everyone so not piled on top of each other. Sunsets so nice. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Family Getaway

This property was perfect for our family getaway. There was plenty of room for our 6 adults and 2 small children both inside and out! Property owners checked in on us during our stay and made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

Dollywood Trip

This farm house was perfect for our family. We took our kids to Dollywood for the first time and this was a perfect location for us to stay. Loved how quiet and peaceful the area is. Views were beautiful! We as a whole family enjoyed hanging outside soaking in the beautiful weather. We passed up going into town to eat and just grilled out because it was so nice where we were. They have a kids air hockey that my son loved to school everyone on! Great place! Thank you

We stayed while attending Smoky Mountain bike week.

The only negative would be the lawn. The property was maybe 1/2 mowed and no attention to detail.

Beautiful view; Excellent Communication

We loved our stay, and the hosts were helpful. The house was clean and nicely furnished. A big rain storm knocked down a tree across the driveway, and the hosts had it cleared right away. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the back porch and watching deer graze amongst the trees.

Farmhouse in Wears Valley

This farmhouse on Katy Hollar in Wears Valley was a wonderful place to stay with plenty of room for our family. It was very clean and well-stocked. The owners, Patty and Joe, were very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely rent from them again!

Grandparent vacation with the 4 youngest

The set up of the home was perfect for our group. The kids loved the game tables and the space to play outside. Located just outside of the busy tourist spots to relax and unwind but just a quick car ride to all the fun. We enjoyed the sunsets on the porch and watching all the wildlife, from deer to rabbits and even a bear! Will definitely be staying here again.

Great place great location

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse. A very clean and spacious house that had everything we needed or wanted, with a well-equipped kitchen. The location is great, just a short drive to Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, and far enough away for peace and quiet. After I arrived, I had a couple of questions for the owners, and they were very quick to respond. I highly recommend this place.

College Reunion

We have an annual reunion in the Smokies and the group has expanded causing us to need more space. The Farmhouse was perfect. We had plenty of room, the house and the property were beautiful and the owners were great to work with.

Beautiful house in an excellent location!

My family visits the Smokies yearly, and we’ve always said Wears Valley would be the perfect location to stay. IT’S TRUE!! The house was nice and cozy and included up-to-date amenities. It’s central to all the places we enjoy visiting (Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, Cade’s Cove, etc.). A short, scenic drive to anywhere. I highly recommend staying at this location and property.

The Sixty-Seventy pack

Everything was great, very clean and had a wonderful stay. The only drawback was the mattress on our beds was firm and we all would rather have it be softer on our old bones. :) otherwise it was great! It's a beautiful area!

Impeccable!

This rental was exceptional! Everything inside looked brand new, beds were comfortable, and the views were gorgeous! Patty and Joe checked in on us and were always available if we needed anything. There were nice touches not mentioned in the listing like the perennial garden in front of the house and the apple tree in the back. Only a short drive to town. Would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful retreat while enjoying the Smoky's

We were lucky to get the hole on short notice due to a previous trip getting canceled. The host was most understandable and accommodating. The home is a beautiful farm house on a spacious property. It offers quiet, gorgeous sunrises over the mountains on the front porch and equally beautiful sunsets on its wrap-around rear porch. It is a most welcoming retreat afyer long days of hiking, cycling & touring.

Beautiful Place!

We stayed here for our fall break trip this year (we live about an hour away and visit this area several times per year), and this place was amazing!! Plenty of space for kids to get outside and play, and our kids loved going on walks to explore the lower field and orchards. The house is beautiful and one of the cleanest properties that we’ve stayed in. My husband and I loved sitting on the porch with coffee to watch the deer come into the field in the mornings. We also got to check out the Wears Valley Fall Festival that weekend and made a stop at our favorite Wear Farm City Park.
