Sea View for Two! Sundial Resort, Steps to the Beach, Private Lanai

Take in the view as you relax on the private and spacious lanai, accessible through wide sliding glass doors from the living room and bedroom. You will enjoy the newly renovated open plan living area including a 65 inch Sony Smart TV with high quality sound , a well equipped kitchen, and FULL size in-unit washer and dryer.
The large primary bedroom has a walk in closet and the adjacent bathroom is well appointed with a range of toiletries. Wall to wall wooden pocket doors create a separate private space for sleeping.
Other resort amenities include access to the pool featured in the listing photos, complimentary parking, and free wifi. There are also five restaurants, a market, and a tiki bar on site. Please note, our unit is a private rental, and therefore, does not include the "resort" pool and amenities, the fitness center, or the Tennis/Pickleball courts. However, our pool is steps away and much quieter!
To help make your beach days carefree we provide 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 2 beach towels, a large cooler on wheels, and a collapsible folding beach wagon (located in the walk in guest closet). No need to worry about managing stairs, our building has an elevator!
Sanibel is known for its many bike paths which are easily accessible from the resort. We recommend renting bikes from Finnimore's Bike and Beach Rentals 239.472.5577. They deliver!

Our Sundial unit was extremely well equipped and very clean. Beach view was excellent and as advertised. Our Host was very attentive and helpful. Excellent host! This was such an easy process and enjoyable stay. Beach chairs , umbrella, and cooler were very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this unit if you’re looking for a one bedroom stay on the beach. I have already referred friends looking for a place on Sanibel.

We really liked staying here! We loved the view and the comfy chairs on the balcony!! The unit was beautifully decorated and very clean!! We appreciated the beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, beach towels and cooler to take to the beach!!That was a big plus for us since we flew and couldn’t bring any of it with us. Also, knowing ahead of time they had soap, shampoo and conditioner was helpful ( one less thing not having to pack) And a real big plus was the toilet paper quality (wasn’t that usual cheap one ply toilet paper that most units use) Getting in our unit upon arrival was a breeze! Hosts responded to any questions promptly. We had no complaints!

A phenomenal location, extremely clean and well appointed. Had a small issue on day two with the keypad door lock. It was actually on the 4th of July and yet the owner incredibly responsive and quick to help get it taken care of. Cannot say enough great things about this property and its owner! Will definitely stay there again.

It's been 25 yrs sense our previous visit to Sanibel Island and that was our honeymoon. The condo was amazing. Very well stocked with beach chairs, beach wagon, and everything you'd need for a day at the beach, we really appreciated it because we flew in from Ohio. The view was beautiful from the balcony! What a way to start your day with a cup of coffee. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend, and we will not wait 25 yrs to return.

Sundial B401 was fabulous! Great location near the beach and pool. The condo is beautiful and provides a comfortable stay. Tammy responds quickly to any question. Couldn’t ask for more. We hope to return.

We lived our stay at the Sundial condo. Tammy was great and very responsive. The condo was clean and well equipped. It was close to the beach with a great view. There is a sandbar a short walk up the beach that provides great shelling at low tide. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend!

The condo itself was beautiful, stylishly decorated, and a perfect size for our stay. It had everything we needed, was in a great location, and the view of the Gulf was absolutely gorgeous. We especially loved the screened-in balcony and appreciated the overall comfort and feel of the unit.We initially found the number of towels provided to be somewhat limited, but the host was responsive and completely resolved that issue.Unfortunately, the biggest drawback to our stay was significant construction noise within the complex. For six of our 10 days, workers were using jackhammers and concrete saws from approximately 8:00 a.m. until nearly 4:00 p.m. The noise carried directly into the condo and made it very difficult to enjoy the balcony, sleep in, nap during the day, or relax by the pool. The pool area in particular was simply too loud to comfortably enjoy while the work was taking place.We completely understand that construction and maintenance are sometimes unavoidable, especially on Sanibel. However, we really wish we had been made aware of the extent and timing of the work prior to our arrival. Had we known, we likely would have either scheduled our trip for a different time or chosen another complex.Overall, the condo itself was lovely and had so many things going for it. Our disappointment was really with the impact of the construction on what otherwise could have been a wonderful and relaxing stay.

My husband and I stayed for two weeks at this beautiful condo at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island, and it far exceeded our expectations. We’ve been visiting Florida for seven years and have stayed in many places, including Fort Myers and Siesta Key, but this was easily our favorite property.The condo was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the perfect size for the two of us. It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with great cookware, dishes, flatware, and even a nice selection of spices. Every detail was clearly thought out.The location is fantastic—central on the island and perfect for biking everywhere on Sanibel’s wonderful bike paths. The beach is just minutes away, and we loved relaxing on the veranda with coffee after morning shelling walks.We had a wonderful stay and are already planning our return next year!

This was an amazing property - just big enough for two! We enjoyed the view in the mornings and evenings and the beach during the day. The condo was very well stocked with things to make your stay comfortable. We will definitely be back for another vacation!

The room was decorated incredibly well. Fell in love when we first walked in the room. It was well furnished. We did not have to bring anything. Nice view of the beach. Great place for a relaxing get away. Tammy was an outstanding host had a little glitch with the lock and she was right on it. Would definitely like to make this a yearly visit

This place was absolutely perfect! It was newly decorated. It had everything that was needed for our stay. The bed was CRAZY comfortable....there was even a fan to help me sleep! The balcony overlooked part of the beach. The chairs were great for sitting and having coffee in the morning. Everything was in the kitchen to cook anything you could want to. There were even LOTS of spices to actually make meals. There wasn't anything that I needed, that wasn't there. I would recommend this place to everyone. The owner was incredibly sweet and caring when I talked to her.

Nice place, excellent host’s.

This condo is small, but comfortable for 2 people. We had rented for 4 weeks, but hurricane Ian forced us to leave after only 8 days. The owner promptly refunded us for the days we were not able to use. VRBO refused to refund the sales tax and “service fee.” I have disputed the prorated amount thatVRBO refused to refund with VISA. I sincerely hope that the owners are able to recover an thrive. They are really nice people.

I was introduced to Sanibel by friends who have homes at Sundial Beach Resort. Their love of this island prompted me to check it out.
Sanibel is a unique barrier island blessed with sandy beaches and an abundance of shells. Equally unique to Sanibel, 25 miles of bike paths that span the island, a National Wildlife Refuge, as well as many fine restaurants and shops. I would describe the atmosphere as laid back and family friendly.
I found it impossible to resist the charm of Sanibel, so I came for a visit and decided to stay!
