Welcome to Road Runner Lodge, a spacious 4-bedroom getaway set on 3 private acres in the Texas Hill Country, just minutes from Lake Travis. Sleeping up to 10 guests, this private retreat brings together the space families and groups need with a backyard designed for actually enjoying your time together.
THE EXPERIENCE
At Road Runner Lodge, you don’t have to leave the property to have a great day. Cool off in the private chlorinated pool, pull up to the swim-up bar table, gather around the outdoor bar, or start a little friendly competition with disc golf, volleyball, ping pong, and cornhole.
Multiple shaded seating areas and front and back porches give everyone room to spread out, while the private 3-acre setting offers a peaceful escape from the everyday.
Inside, you’ll find comfortable gathering spaces, large Smart TVs, board games, plush towels and linens, extra-comfy bedding, bath essentials, laundry pods, starter paper products, and coffee supplies.

Fun family place
Great location, the place had lots of room for the six of us. We enjoyed the pool, it was super hot out!!

Beautiful getaway
Nice location, beautiful property, well stocked. Voices do carry between rooms, but it was perfect for our girl's trip!

Weekend away
We wanted a nice little mini road trip and this house was perfect we spent a lot of time at lake Travis but Sunday decided to have a chill relax day and swam at the house all day! It was amazing and the kids loved the property and all the games that got to do!

Perfect get together house
The Road Runner Lodge was perfect for a getaway. The property was exactly as listed and the management team was super responsive. It has plenty of space for a large group of adults or family and flexible sleeping arrangements. The pool and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing outside.

Birthday Weekend
We enjoyed our stay at Road Runner Lodge! Lots of room for our group. We loved all the activities on the property, especially the pool on a hot August day! The house was well stocked with essential items. We will definitely be back, 10/10 reccomend!

Amazing getaway!
We all had a great stay here! The host was extremely helpful right from booking all the way to check out. Went above and beyond to help in all ways. A lovely home, ideally placed, well equipped, comfortable with everything you need! I would totally recommend to all of my family and friends!!

Awesome place to chill out!
Amazing relaxing pool, super comfortable beds and kicked back atmosphere. Deer, rabbits, road runners share the property. Availability of kitchen ware and basic items to get you going was much appreciated. We liked it so much, we wanted to extend our stay! Highly recommended.

This house was exactly what we were wanting: close to different hiking trails, easy access to the lake, not right next to neighbors, but close to a grocery store, open land, and a pool. Our only "complaint" was not being notified about the pool guy and yard people coming. We were there for a week, so totally reasonable for people to come and service the property, but we weren't given any heads up so it was a little startling to both us and our animals to wake up to random people walking around outside. A quick line in the check-in instructions would be super useful for any future guests. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

Regarding the pool and yard services, we completely understand how startling that can be, especially with animals. We do our best to give our guests a heads up whenever possible, however our pool company schedules their visits based on their own availability which can vary day to day. We do mention in our guest guide that regular property services occur during stays and unfortunately cannot always be rescheduled.

House is very old and creeky. 80 percent of the dishes that i tried to use out of the cabinets were dirty

Texas Rustic Chic!
LOVE this property! We spent the weekend at Road Runner Lodge and enjoyed every minute of it! The house and land is so perfectly Texas! There are so many things to do, from swimming to volleyball/badminton to disc golf to ping pong! The house is spacious and the layout is perfect for big parties. There were 8 adults and plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to stay in and cook or bring food back and eat. Cannot say enough about this property and the property managers! They are very responsive! Book this place!!

Work Conference
Plenty of space for 8 adults. Lots of pool towels and blankets which was appreciated. The home itself is older but looks to be renovated. The kitchen was well stocked, but the flooring and countertops need some TLC.
A side note about the stairs: a couple of my co-workers had trouble using them bc they are steep and the handrailing is slick. Overall, the stay was fine.
